This gym is super convenient in South Tampa & all the people are so lovely. I see Felicia who works as a personal trainer & she’s the smartest, most genuine person I’ve ever met. Started going here about two weeks ago and now I’m working with one of their personal trainers Lance, he is the absolute best. Before signing up I made sure my expectations were going to be met and he consistently makes sure to meet my needs as a trainee. Not only is he encouraging but also extremely knowledgeable. He goes above and beyond for his job. If you’re looking for a personal trainer I recommend him. Everyone is super professional and helpful as well.

Really need to tighten up the policy on cameras/video/photos. I don’t think it’s ok for TikTokers to go on live with people in the background. This location is very popular for high schoolers, and I see young kids with their parents all the time. I’ve complained multiple times, I see action taken at the time. However, I always see the TikToker back at it.
Has done a better job of cleaning.
Needs a major update.
The staff need to visit the Northeast St Pete location, and see what a good gym looks like.

I’m going to be looking for a new gym. I’ve only been coming to this location for a few months. I am someone who has been a member at EOS, Anytime Fitness and Planet Fitness. Today I came in, scanned my barcode and was literally chased down, then called by Phone as I entered the locker room, for them to tell me that my payment was one day late. Apparently they tried my card yesterday and it didn’t go through. I have no email or any type of notification of this. I was so disgusted I didn’t even continue my workout.

Jesus GM is trash. He refused to allow me to workout because I wouldn’t download app. I asked him to show in the contract where it requires an app download and he couldn’t. Additionally I asked for a physical barcode that crunch gives out so I can scan that and he refused kicked me out mid workout and proceeded to try and ban me. Ego trip is costing crunch business.

This may be the worst gym experience I have ever had. In addition, they wont let you cancel your membership without a milliion hoops to jump through. Some of which I think actually break the law. Their website and my contract stated I could cancel online, anytime. However, you actually cannot and if you want to, you have to go in person for them to try and talk you into staying and fill out forms. The employees are just sleezy salespeople. The gym is subpar.

I’ve been coming here for years and the staff always greets you with a smile at the front desk. And they often go out of their way help. Emma was particularly helpful on my last visit. A man bench pressing near me near the front put his dumbbells down rather carelessly and one came bounding towards my phone. I was looking the other way, but Emma sprung into action, making a diving save you might see from the likes of Andrei Vasilevskiy. Staff like Emma elevate the Crunch on Dale Mabry from a good gym to a great gym
