I suffered a laceration while working out, I asked the young woman at the front desk for a band aid…Jerica proceeded to get alcohol wipes, properly sanitize the gash, and put the bandage on for me-without me asking. I highly appreciated the kind gesture from the young woman. She was very sweet and helpful.

Best massage I’ve ever had, hands down. Sam G. is incredibly skilled, intuitive, and professional. He found every knot I didn’t even know I had, worked them out with the perfect pressure (never too light or too aggressive), and helped me reset my body. Refused service as a guest of a paying member because I didn’t allow the front desk to keep my drivers license while we worked out. Blatent and outright violation of FSS 322.143. No need to hold anyone’s DL after it being presented at their request. Identity confirmation had been obtained so why violate someone’s rights by refusing services after fulfilling their request?

I have tried to cancel my gym membership several times in the last few months. I have looked at their app which doesn’t have an option to cancel. I’ve also gone to the website to try and cancel and it then prompts “you must contact your home gym.” Every time I have called the gym they tell me I need to go to the gym in person to cancel my membership. I am unable to do that as I no longer live close. I have explained this as well and I’m told to go to a different location. So, I finally emailed their support team and explained and was prompted to put in a request to my home gym. After all this a manager called but I missed the call. In the voice mail she was requesting drivers license or legal documents to show I no longer live nearby. If a customer ask to cancel they should not have to provide all this extra information and they shouldn’t need a reason with proof. A majority of gyms provide ways to cancel through their app or with your registered email. At crunch they don’t allow that and require you to cancel in person. If you can’t go in person they require you to send documents to prove you can’t go to the gym in person. It seems as if they make cancellation as difficult as possible so they can continue billing and collecting payments. I have seen other reviews on google of people having the same difficulties. I haven’t experienced this yet, as I haven’t had the opportunity to cancel, but I have seen in the reviews they will then charge you with many fees to cancel. I would love if they would just cancel upon request or give adequate ways to cancel. I haven’t used my membership for a long time and would like to stop wasting my money on it. Tried to access my contract as well and I get an error.

I came in to Crunch Fitness today to cancel my membership.
I worked with one gentleman for couple of minutes who was trying to start the process but there was computer issues so he asked Sandra to help me with my cancellation.
Sandra asked me why I was canceling my membership and I explained that I live at the very south end of Brevard and the location was not convenient for me and I wished there was a Crunch in Palm Bay.
Sandra was sooooo helpful!!
She went above and beyond!
I ended up NOT canceling my membership and pausing it because she told me they were going to open a new Crunch Fitness in Palm Bay on Malabar in about 6 months!
Had she not taken the time to go over all my options, I would have cancelled today and found a new gym!
Excellent customer service should be recognized and acknowledged!

This place is a scam. DO NOT give them your bank account number or credit card they will charge you monthly for eternity and make it extremely difficult to cancel your membership. I only thought I was paying for three months (their minimum) and moved states, yet somehow they continue to charge me and will not allow me to cancel my membership over the phone, thus providing no way to cancel. Their whole business model is to get you to sign up for a seemingly very cheap no strings attached subscription and hope you forget about them. Even when I was using the membership, it felt as though at every turn they were trying to upcharge me. It’s unfortunate because the facility and amenities are decent. There are plenty other better gyms in this area for the same price and less of a headache.

Been a member for over a year, my boyfriend and friends have been members for over 3 years, yesterday went into the gym checked in walked to the machine with my boyfriend and proceeded to get kicked out by a staff member I had never seen before because I was unaware that my payment didn’t process this past month because I had switched banks which is on me of course, I would have updated my payment right then and there But due to the fact of the girl who confronted me, saying I’m not even allowed in the building was beyond rude and embarrassing I will not be fixing my membership and will def tell everyone to switch gyms as well! The machines are great but half of them are broken, it’s always way to busy and looks like it’s packed with a bunch of teenagers wearing but pads like it’s a popularity contest in high school.

Albert Torres was my personal trainer for a few months and only have great things to say about him! He helped me get in shape for my wedding and also worked creatively around my volleyball injuries to improve my recovery and performance. Highly recommend! Trying to cancel my membership has been incredibly frustrating. As soon as I started the process, unexpected fees showed up, and instead of like a simple cancellation, I’ve had to deal with a complicated, outdated process. You can’t cancel through an app or even by email they require a physical letter to be mailed in, which is ridiculous in this day and age. When I even called for help, I was usually met with a trainer who said they couldn’t assist and that a manager would call me back. That call never came. When I finally reached the manager he really just came off as dismissive and unhelpful. eThis is not how members should be treated. It feels like they make canceling intentionally difficult just to keep charging you. If you’ve had a similar experience, I strongly recommend filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. These kinds of practices need to change

Went to this gym for the first time with a free 3 day pass. I really liked the gym layout and machines and space. Unfortunately due to the aggressive sales representatives at the gym who checked me in on my first day , I will not be joining this gym, at least at this location. They made me feel very uncomfortable and like I wasn’t welcomed there unless I was buying a membership, which they kept insisting on me doing the very FIRST DAY. Hopefully Crunch takes this as learning experience and provides better service and educates their staff/sales representatives not to be so aggressive and pushy. Will never come back here again.

Very uninviting when you walk in. If you decide to sign a "contract" make sure you prepare to plan to pay for that contract for the rest of your life. You must go in to the gym and "request" to cancel with a 30 day notice, still requiring you to pay for next month. Don't bother to ask for managers because Marco and Jeremiah will show their rude, condescending true selfs. Don't bother asking for corporate. They have a 1 star and the phone number listed on the website is literally useless and "not monitored".

It’s a very noisy gym. They have classes that blast music in a common area and there is music via the speakers which is a lot. The gym itself can be cleaner, barbells are all over the place and you can easily get hurt as people don’t put back equipment, obviously not the gyms fault but it would be nice if they tried to pick up the weights that are an obvious danger. I’ve seen trainers step over random weights next to machines and in pathways without picking them up or moving them. Usually NO soap in the bathrooms and they no longer have any paper towels, and not many hand sanitizer locations. One thing is that there are always people at the front desk that are always friendly and helpful. The cleaning overall can be improved, always empty water bottles and used wipes at the machines.

If I could give ZERO stars I would! My son was a member of Crunch from day one of their opening in Melbourne (192). He canceled his membership in person on June 23, 2025. Upon cancellation, he was told there would be a cancellation fee along with the monthly dues (last month's dues). They asked how he wanted to pay for that and he aked if he could use a credit card. They said he could. He told them that his bank account info is what they had on file which would get debited each month for the dues. He made sure to ask that these "additional fees" not come out of his bank account on file since he was paying both separate fees with a credit card. They assured him they wouldn't come out of his bank account on file. Well guess what, THEY DID! He has been back to Crunch no less than FOUR TIMES trying to get the money back in his account since he got charged twice, once via credit card and once via ACH. It is nearly $85 that Crunch owes him. That may not seem like a lot of money but he's a full time student and now it's the principle of the matter. Each time he's gone in there, he's gotten a different story..."it's being processed", "it'll take 5-10 business days to go back in your account", "we need to send a request for a refund", "blah, blah, blah". I got so fed up with their run-around that I went with him last Thursday, July 17th. Upon entering, I asked to speak to a manager and with that Marco (who I was speaking to) said, "what can I do for you?". I went in with a printout of my son's bank statement showing the withdrawal on June 23rd and no credits back to the account. Marco, this so-called, self-proclaimed "manager" was rude and condescending towards me and my son, telling me that "the fees owed are in the contract he signed when he signed up". I told him that's NOT what we're disputing. What we're there for is a refund of the dues that were paid TWICE, once on his credit card (the method he specifically asked to use) and once by ACH. Marco said "we can't give refunds here and will have to put in a request". Seriously???? You sure as hell can take the money but you can't credit it back?!?!? I specifically asked Marco what the heck was done then the last 3-4 times my son went in there to get his money refunded. All Marco kept saying was "it has to be requested". Then some kid Jeramiah chimed in stating that my son signed a contract. Again, I said directly to this other rude employee (both of which I've got by 20+ years) THAT'S NOT THE ISSUE! We left out of there with my last words to both of them, "If, come next Thursday, the money is not back in his account, you'll be seeing a lot more of me...get used to this face!" To date, the money is STILL NOT REFUNDED...A MONTH LATER!!!! From these interactions alone, I would suggest giving your money to a gym that is trustworthy and more deserving of your business. Clearly, Crunch is NOT that gym.

I’ve been to this Crunch location a few times, and unfortunately, my experience, particularly with an employee named Marco, has been consistently negative. He often makes it unnecessarily difficult to use valid guest passes or memberships, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere instead of the supportive, fun environment you’d expect at a gym. He does not communicate and blames guests instead of helping with alternatives to allow people to work out.

I saw someone else has commented on similar interactions with him, and I can understand why. His attitude often comes across as judgmental, and rather than helping members feel comfortable, it feels like he lets his ego get in the way of good customer service.

One particularly uncomfortable moment was when I first joined and brought my younger cousin (a minor) to inquire about the gym. Marco’s immediate response was, “Do you even live here?”a dismissive and inappropriate comment that left a lasting and scary impression.

It’s disappointing, because the gym itself has potential, but if Marco is the only staff present, be aware that you may not feel welcome. I’m now seriously reconsidering my membership. I have enjoyed other gyms in the area I will say that.

-Minus 1 Star, they charge me twice on my first month, when I asked they said, oops, we will reimburse, check your credit card billing.
-Minus 1 Star: They dont allow to change tier before 3rd month, seems for me the guy at the front desk just made it up, no one told me it before, start with the lowest tier, dont buy the bs about classes etc etc
-Minus 1 Star: They said package was 24usd/month, not true it was almost 29, they need to be transparent.

Tried it, not for me (too many arrogant kids, weights lying everywhere on the floor, used to more of a west coast barbell environment where people respect the equipment and other users a little better). Called up to cancel after a couple months, guy said I couldn't do it over the phone, then the next day I was charged an 'annual fee'. When I called up to query that, they were quite able and willing to cancel over the phone. There's a three month minimum which is not explained by staff, and they will charge you an annual fee during those three months, so it's pretty much a cash grab. Be sure to read the fine print. It's a decent gym with a lot of good equipment otherwise.

I like the gym. The water is piss warm when I need a refill. I wish the rowing machines were newer or in better condition. Food service trucks have zero place at the entrance. I don't care if they are topping their beverages with 24k gold. Unfortunately, I can't see beyond my nose without glasses. I do like the televisions around the gym. Signed up and took classes that were so good, I almost regretted signing up. I also had no problem cancelling my membership when I had surgery. Wanted to take the time to shout Trainer Sarah out I won’t forget Kevin he actually is a good trainer as well and he seems to care, the whole reason of doing this review though is because I wanted to cancel my membership knowing that I had to wait 3 months is killing me inside, well Sarah actually changed my mind I am thankful for her push, her positive attitude, her great customer service, and smile unlike the others at the front desk they just hang around and talk they don’t speak nor tell you bye, they don’t even show how happy they are to see someone pushing knowing that it’s easy to be on the couch, I expect this from planet fitness but not from crunch, I go out my way and drive over 20 min to this gym and it’s not as welcoming anymore as it is to get you into a membership or to have you pay for a trainer. Hope yall can do better in the near future at the end of the day customer service is everything and we could care less if it’s coming from someone that is a body builder or someone that’s a lil fluffy, stop all that talking motivate us as we come in, most of us come everyday and you should almost be knowing the names now at least acknowledge us when coming in or leaving, I never did a class and they just assumed I knew what to do and where to go no it’s called customer service and that’s for young or old. bro this gym sucks they blast the music so loud (i went at 8 in the morning like wtfff) i can barely hear myself sometimes it hurts my ears i have to bring noise canceling headphones and its not even good music and they’re constantly asking me to buy a membership like nooo i get to go for free and ive said no millions of times and its always the same person i get why they have to but damn i always have to say no. also the weights are always everywhere and ppl constantly take forever. the only thing good abt the gym is the machines tho

I trained with Chris, a personal trainer here and he taught me a lot about getting started and where i should be setting my goals. He also helped me work out my very stiff, and tight hip that has been nothing me and taught me about stretching. very helpful and insightful!
