My fiancé and I wanted to have a special dance for our wedding but we were very nervous and hesitant because we both have 2 left feet. We went for the wedding consultation and Andrea made everything so easy to comprehend, I was sold (so was he LOL).

We signed up for wedding lessons but ended up joining a few of their group classes. The group classes were amazing and I ended up really connecting with the other students. Learning the dances in the classes WHILE taking our wedding lessons seems like a lot but it really made everything easier!! Jay and Andrea teaching together is hilarious and Kristina and Kayla were amazing to practice with.

Andrea and Jay made us a BEAUTIFUL dance that we had so much fun performing at the wedding. It went perfectly and we even got a standing ovation from some of our family members!

We will be members for a long time!!

My wife and I started dancing about a month ago. It is such a welcoming environment even if you have never danced before and have two left feet and no discernible rhythm. There instructors are amazing and patient. They are all fun, vibrant, and accepting.

My wife and I recently retired and moved here from Nashville, TN. We left behind a large, vibrant ballroom, swing, and country community, with a high caliber of dancers and dance instuctors.

We found Dance Life in Panama City on Harrison Ave. and checked them out back in January, 2025. Jay and Audrey are amazing! They dance competitively and instruct on par with the pros we had in Nashville! A small market city like Panama City is blessed to have two such talented dance instructors!

Their studio is friendly and non-intiminating, and the monthly membership is a great value. Their block of Harrison Ave is under remodeling construction, so enter the studio from behind, from Grace Street. There's plenty of parking. They really know how to take you from beginner level to competient social dancer quickly. If you want a higher level of dancing, they can help you with that too!

Everybody here was AWESOME! I've been in the Ballroom dance industry for over 25 years and this school, the staff, and owner had their stuff together! Extremely professional, polite, and have a great vibe about them. If you are looking to dance in Panama City make sure you check them out!

We highly recommend this studio. We had our wedding reception there in October. Beautiful space in historic downtown panama city & plenty of room for dancing and tables. The staff was very accommodating to us for setup, our vendors and guests when they arrived. They even played music since our DJ was over an hour late. The restrooms were very clean and plenty of room for us ladies to change. The bar area was beautiful and very spacious. We would recommend to other couples looking for a beautiful reception space for your big day! Thanks Dancelife for helping to make our wedding special.

I wouldn’t recommend this school at all. They did a “bait & switch” :: I brought my 4yr old (almost 5) daughter here for hopes of long lasting relationship with professional establishment that build her education of dance. They charged me $50/class for the first two classes- then upon arriving at her 2nd class I found my daughter coloring rather than dancing, the instructor proceeds telling me the charges were only for consultation fees and I will need to pay an additional $400 for a month (which included only 4 lessons with her each class only an hour long! I was blown away- I asked why is it now $100/class .. her response was the classes usually are $125/ class but she was giving me a discount.
I was very disappointed in this bait & switch and will also be reporting them to the better business bureau. Shame on you Dance Life!

Great place to have fun and learn to dance. The staff and other dancers are so nice. Dancing is a wonderful social skill for all ages. There are social parties weekly so you can practice what you learn. Do not worry if you don't have a partner because the instructors and other students will be there to partner up with.

I DO NOT recommend this business to anyone for their wedding venue.

The owner was consistently late with getting back to me, made changes without notifying me, failed to make changes I did ask for, and I did not get all the services I paid for. I paid for a bartender, a service staff, and the coordinator (which came with my base package.) I received a bartender and coordinator who tried to do the job of the service staff. They were obviously in over their heads. My wedding guests had to help them flip the room for the reception and help set up with the caterer. My guests also helped with packing to leave/cleanup.

The whole intenerary was off schedule, the wrong cues were made, and everything started to go wrong from the beginning. Things started to really fall apart, however, around 9 p.m. So I decided to go ahead and pack up and leave. The coordinator and owner accused one of my guests of stealing the tulle on the archway, saying it was theirs. My mother bought that tulle, it was a 7-yard long piece and didn't match their tulle. I have the receipt for it. Furthermore, they lost my wedding favors and part of my decorations that were dropped off the previous day at rehearsal. They were supposed to be locked up and obviously weren't. No apology was made and no recompense was offered for the loss.

I caught her in a couple of lies myself and I have witnesses to all of these events.

They are dishonest, unorganized, and unprofessional. You should look elsewhere for your wedding day.
