Our Granddaughter started with DFY a couple of years ago. Had tried other Programs. This is the Best and not even close. Been to Recitals. Professional and Fun. Children are well choreographed. We've noticed how her confidence has soared. Now wants to Play Volleyball at School. Builds Social Skills as well. I'd advise any Parent, Grandparent or Family Member to try Dancing for Joy. My daughter attended trolls dance camp and with this being her first time there, enjoying herself, not wanting to leave, and excited to show the dance moves she learned speaks volumes to the care from the instructors. My daughter can be timid and need some time to warm up to new things but the comfort she felt as soon as we walked in and was greeted by Ms. April and Ms. Cali made it easy for her to say goodbye to me! From the time of arrival to dismissal they were all smiles and excited to have the kids. This place is filled with joy and I am truly grateful for them!

Dancing for Joy is our dance family. Both my daughters are thriving at this studio. Both feel so loved by every teacher. Ms. April, the owner, makes it feel like a home away from home. It is so wholesome and I never have to worry about costumes and dance moves. My oldest daughter wants to take every class and be a part of every activity and event. Dancing for Joy has been a blessing for our family. It has given our daughter so much joy. She has made amazing friends. She gets to do what she loves and has amazing coaches that that push her to be her best. When she was struggling with depression and anxiety this was where she felt peace and happiness. She felt included and welcomed. Its a place she can be herself. The owner April wants everyone to feel welcomed and makes a big effort to make sure everyone that walks through the door introduced to other. She wants no one left out. Due to my daughter's medical conditions and on-going surgeries, on and off it has probably been about 4 years since she has been attending Dancing for Joy. The name itself brings you as a parent, that feeling of trust and peace. My daughter has never felt less, bullied or different. In fact she haved shared, she can be herself. If there is anything she can't do, due to her physical limitations, there is always someone to give a hand, whether is one of the staffs or classmates. We have been able to substitute physical therapy for ballet and letting her do what she truly loves. Mrs. April is a loving, spiritual and kind director who understands every parent's concern and makes it her job to help you feel comfortable. Dancing for Joy is not just a dance studio. Is a place that teaches our children about moral, care, love, aupport among one another and is a place of faith. Thank you Dancing for Joy and thank you Mrs. April and staff for bringing a smile to my little warrior's face.

Dancing for Joy, Coach April and the Staff are very loving and caring. They are very skilled in teaching the students age appropriate skills. I feel the program they provide is very rich, full of quality and I love the interaction. They do a great job of cleaning between sessions, conducting temperature checks and scheduling all classes to keep safe distance between the girls. I am excited to be a part of this Christian Dance Family.

The adult ballet classes are wonderful! Miss Alicia is very nice and takes her time to explain everything. The environment is very welcoming, and the class is lots of fun. While also being a great workout. I’ve never danced ballet before and was happy to fit right into the class. I definitely recommend for anyone to take this class who has ever wanted dance ballet. We have danced at DFJ for one year. I have to say it is a special dance studio. It has become an extended family for us. Ms. April is truly an Angel here on earth. She and her dance teachers really love each one of their dancers and makes them feel special and valued while they learn to dance. Her mission is to use dance to bring joy to others. She lives it and is a shining example to the young people she teaches as well as to anyone who knows her.
