Customers beware! You might want to avoid DB Racquet Club if Tracy/Tracey is on duty. Either way, she has a terrible attitude and has been constantly hostile towards me and other players. Every time I play, she is yelling at someone or saying something nasty, making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I remember one time my friend and I came in on a Sunday to hit. Before we started, he wanted to pay his monthly membership fee in the pro shop, but no one was to be found. He decided he would pay the fee after we wrapped our session up. 30 minutes into hitting, Tracy came around and started aggressively interrogating us, "Are you guys members? Have you paid your fees?" My friend tried to explain that no one was in the office, but she gave him a nasty stare and told him to immediately pay or leave. We left then and there.

This isn't the only time she's made me or people I know uncomfortable. She has touched/stroked my friend's daughter's hair without permission, making her feel extremely uncomfortable. I could go on. Tracy seriously needs some customer satisfaction/basic human decency training.

I love this place. My son takes Tennis lessons here and during summer is doing a tennis camp. The coaches here are amazing, it's friendly and affordable. If your kid is just starting tennis or already knows the sport this place is great either way. I also see plenty of people of all ages coming here to play with friends and family.

Nobody around to inform or guide you. You can only play here if you are a member. To be a member, you need to be in touch with admissions that are hit and miss cause they are not always around. If you do get in touch, they let you leave a contact so they can contact you when THEY are available. The tennis courts and parking areas and the building facilities definitely need some maintenance and reassurance.

Staff is friendly and the restringing service is good, but the hours listed is not accurate. I came at 1PM on a weekday and the pro shop was not open because β€œthe people are out till 3PM”? Also the place does not have a card reader so bring everything in cash or check; I had to make an extra trip which was inconvenient.

β€œUnrivaled” is the word that best describes my experience and satisfaction with DB Racquet Club. I moved to Gainesville from Pennsylvania in January and didn’t know a single person in town, let alone have a tennis partner. A month later, because of Don Blair (owner of DB), I have more tennis partners than days in the week, made some good friends, and feel completely at home in my new city. Also, big shout out to Richard at the front desk! Richard is the nicest person and will go out of his way for each of his customers, even running out into the parking lot to tell me my partner was running a few minutes late. 10 Stars!

I’ve been to DB at least 100 times, dating back to when I was 8 years old doing a summer camp there. It’s definitely one of the top tennis spots in Gainesville. Go reserve a court!

I train with Heather Miller at the gym out of this location. She is knowledgeable and professional and the space is always clean. Her training is customized to fit my specific goals. She has helped me strengthen my back and keep me able to do my job which is physically demanding. I highly recommend training with Heather at DB!

Db Racquet Club is the best place around to play tennis. The pros are excellent and the clinics help to improve all aspects of your game. There is as much tennis available as you would like to play. The family atmosphere is friendly and inviting so I have developed many treasured, life long friendships. It's also wonderful to have the gym and pool available for additional fitness opportunities.

These guys are the best in town. Some of the best pros I've ever met and they've built an awesome club. Whether you're a beginner, a Division 1 athlete, or just looking for a group to play some weekend doubles this is your place. Coaching is top notch and the amnesties are great too. 8 clay courts, 2 hard courts, a pool, racquetball courts, an awesome weight room, and the coolest group of members. Simply put its a great family brought together in a great place.

A little over a year ago I was looking for a place I could go to improve my game. Being an older player, finding such a place was challenging as most places in the Gainesville/Ocala area cater to the young! I choose DB because of their clinics - which are best anywhere around. No question the last year of playing in those clinics has dramatically improved my game. Their approach has proven to me that you're never too old to get better. It's a great place to play.

Best junior and adult tennis in Gainesville hands down. The amenities are awesome too. Top quatlity gym, racketball courts, and pool. Lots of tennis action for the members: leagues, mixers, lessons, clinics, and social events. The tennis pros have over 20 years experience, superb credentials. If you really love tennis, DB is the place to play.
