Danny is like a magician to me. I felt like I had lost a lot of strength and fitness in a year of not keeping up with excercising. I have known Daniel for a long time and when I needed to get back into shape, drop my cholesterol and introduce an exercise routine that would be sustainable for me, I knew exactly who to call. Since that call Dbfitfocused has provided me with results beyond expectation. My friend recommended DBFitFocused and I started virtual training Jan 2021 with Jose. This was truly a godsend - I felt so sluggish and out of shape from being at home. Jose listened and helped me craft my fitness/nutrition goals.
I have major knee injuries and Jose is so knowledgeable. He coaches me through exercise variations to cue my weaker muscles and knows how to push me past that mental "ah my knee!" barrier!
In April, I moved cross-country. I also had to travel a few times. I stayed on track with my training every time because we were already virtual. I'd bring my bands and Jose adjusts to what equipment I have available! 8 months later and I feel so much stronger and healthier. Jose is the best trainer ever :)
Also, DBFitFocused offers suchhhhh a competitive rate for 1:1 training. IMO it's better than the in-person training rate I used to get in LA.

I’ve trained with Daniel off and on for over a year. When I first met Daniel we trained in a gym setting but that ended when I moved. I was pleasantly surprised to learn he offered virtual sessions and quickly jumped at the opportunity to train with him again. He is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. Before I met Daniel I hadn’t worked out in years. His patience and willingness to help me grow really impressed me. If there is a part of my body that is bothering me, he always has stretching tips and will plan our workouts around what’s bothering me. I also like that Daniel is always helpful in steering me in making smart food choices. I love that I can ask for suggestions for breakfast options or what I should order at a particular restaurant. He always responds quickly and is a huge advocate for clean eating. My favorite part of virtual training with Daniel is that he understands and is patient with my home life. I am a stay at home mom and my days are busy. Sometimes during our workouts I have to run to change a diaper or take a break to calm a kid down - plus there have been plenty of times when my kids are right next to my side trying to do the same movements I am doing - and Daniel never complains and understands the situation. The fact that I don’t have to pack my kids and drive to a gym is such a relief. I am able to workout in the comfort of my own home with what I have here available.
Overall, since working out with Daniel my flexibility, balance and mobility have increased tremendously. I feel so much stronger and love the example I am setting for my 2 young girls.

Daniel is, by far, the best personal trainer I trained with. We met at Equinox and he was always very friendly and focused on my goals. Extremely professional! During training, he would not take his attention off my posture and was always providing the correct feedback (positive or negative).
With the recent challenges, I was at first a bit reluctant to work out online, but Daniel went through the steps and made me feel comfortable.
