Absolutely awful, went here many times as a student and they treat you like shit. If you’re sick but the nurses are having a fun conversation, they won’t take you until it’s done even if it’s 30 mins. They actively look down on sick people. Just don’t know how some people there are still employed. Plus once they do see you it’s the worse, half the nurses and doctors don’t know what there doing and once they do get you treated if you do need to go to a hospital they kick you out and don’t give you any help.

I went in for a quick check-up. The results were so quick and I left the visit with lab results and my antibiotic prescriptions already in hand within only thirty minutes; It was extremely quick and efficient. The receptionists and nurses were all so nice and really cared. Janet is the best! She was so kind.

Horrible experience. The receptionists and nurses are great, however I came in with extreme pain in my hand and fingers after an incident and the doctor told me I just jammed my fingers. After I told him I wanted an X-ray done, he sent me home with an ice pack and Tylenol😭 went to urgent care after and I had BROKEN MY HAND. I could tell he did not care at all what I was saying and completely brushed off my pain. If I had never went to urgent care and gotten X-rays (that I practically begged him to give me the paperwork for) I would’ve walked away with a broken hand untreated

By far the most ridiculous encounter I have ever had. I came in today wanting to get tested for Covid because I wasn’t feeling well and wanted to make sure I wasn’t spreading anything if I was positive. I was “examined” by provider Jean and nurse Cindy and not only did they deny giving me the test, they had to audacity to tell me “I don’t fit the criteria for being tested”. What does that even mean? Quite frankly I think this “wellness center” is a joke and a waste of our (students) money might as well go to your local urgent care.

THESE PEOPLE ARE THE BEST, I had THE best experience going here. I called and got my appointment the same day. I walked in 10 minutes early and they took me in not even 3 minutes. Everyone there is SO friendly. SO nice and helpful. I promised them I would write them a review and i don’t usually do this but they deserved it 100%. Dr. Janet is A LITERAL angel she was so so kind to me complimented me it made my day! They made me laugh so much and the atmosphere was amazing. I wasn’t uncomfortable at all or awkward they made it such a fun visit and if I could see them everyday I would just to talk to them😂. Thank you guys !!

I’m a out of state student and my parents health insurance doesn’t work in Florida. This center makes it extremely difficult to get medical attention I can actually afford bc of their hours. They don’t take walk ins, you can’t make an appointment online. Only athletes can. So I have to call in person. And your not likely to get seen the same day. So you’re basically on your own.

The worst customer service at any establishment I have every experienced. Rude, disrespectful, and just down right disgusting. I’m a senior at the school and I can promise you I’ll never step foot in that building again. This campus has been so good to me besides this one group of faculty. Tried to set an appointment to be seen for the possibility of having covid or strep and they refused. I hope people go else where to receive their medical needs because it would for sure be in their best interest.

The health center placed a hold on my account for registration and didn’t bother to notify... It was quite a surprise when I logged in to register for courses. I called to inquire about the problem. It turns out that even though I’ve been a student for a couple of years, I have to upload my immunization record because I changed status from undergrad to graduate student. I explained that it would be difficult to track down my record quickly. They informed me that they could provide a copy to me if I visit the health center in person.

So basically, they already have the records that they want, but I have to go get them so I can upload it to their site... And that’s what’s keeping from registering... To salt the wound, I e never used the health center, as I’m fully covered by the VA...

I see other reviews saying that people have issues getting appointments but I’ve always been able to get an appointment the day I need!

My freshman year I had to get stitches and I was nervous but everyone was super friendly and comforting! I went back a few days later and they took the stitches out no problem. The health insurance provided by the school covered all the cost, I didn’t have to pay anything out of pocket.

I don’t even think these reviews are accurate. I had an appt that I called a few hours beforehand to schedule for a sore throat, and it was literally so fast: in and out. Diagnosed, medication provided for $10 or $15 and great service!

They are the worst form of "health" while they misdiagnose and take over a week to see students with urgent problems. You're better off using webMD (which I don't suggest) then seeing this horrible health center. I have been at UT for 5 years and they've only gotten worse in time. UT has so much money to spend on palm trees, why not invents in the students health, epescially when international student don't really have the choice of going to a Dr. off campus.

Difficult to get any appointment. $25 fee if you don't show up on time. Late, you probably won't get seen. No such thing as same day appointments if you really need it.
