⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Disney’s Palm Golf Course – Elevated Golf with a Touch of Magic

From the first tee to the final green, Disney’s Palm Golf Course delivers a pristine and rewarding round. The fairways are wide but demand accuracy, and the course makes great use of natural Florida terrain—water hazards, towering palms, and 59 sand bunkers that are as scenic as they are strategic.

The redesigned greens roll true and add just enough complexity to keep you thinking. It’s a par-72 championship-level layout, yet remains approachable for mid-handicappers who want a challenge without frustration.

Service is exactly what you’d expect from Disney: courteous, efficient, and friendly without being overbearing. Carts are clean and well-stocked, and the grounds are immaculately maintained. The pace of play was excellent, even during a busy morning window.

If you’re looking to play a serious round without leaving the Disney bubble, Palm hits that sweet spot between resort relaxation and genuine golf. Easily one of the best public-access courses in Central Florida.

Disney's Palm Golf Course is a destination in and of itself. Getting there is easy enough, and it has ample parking with a few lots you can park in. They have a couple courses you can play at, with a little snack shack right at the beginning. Make reservations early on here since it can get busy, especially in the off season. Prices are ok, a bit high since it's Disney, but you can get deals that come with food and carts as well. The staff here are nice, Marshalls were very informative and friendly. The course itself was maintained alright for November, and we only saw 2 alligators that scurried off. Fairways were short and greens were decent. Overall a fun spot if you catch it when it's not packed here.

Course was in overall great condition. Greens were in great condition and had a great roll. Some cup placements made for challenging putts. Course was fun to play and offered some tougher shots but played well from the gold tees. White and blue would provide even more distance and challenges.

Would play again on a future trip.

One of the best courses in the Disney / Orlando area.

Played the Palms yesterday. The course was in great shape. Driving range and putting green were also in great shape. I have played a lot of golf courses. In my opinion, the 175 greens fee is a bit steep for this layout. Staff were all very polite and helpful.

We played this course in early March of 2025. Course conditions were near immaculate, and hospitality was off the charts. We had to stop at the 15th hole because it got too dark. Can’t wait to come back to play a full round. A+

Played January…Not impressed for price you pay, course was in awful shape, cart service only came by once at the turn, and was out of food other than chips and candy bars, this was our first time playing there and there was zero direction from staff of where to go, bathrooms closed at clubhouse. Even had to take our own clubs off cart at end of round. Not opposed to gathering my own clubs but for the price maybe they could be helpful.
I was just expecting a “MAGICAL Disney golf experience. They say the most magical place on turf… yah not so much!!!

Great course conditions, lovely course layout. Was honestly surprised at how nice this place is. Feels like a country club. But I think they could have added more of a Disney touch to the course though. (greens and bunkers shaped like Mickey Mouse's head, cartoonish elements, funky hole designs, etc). Otherwise, it just plays like a regular mid-high end golf course

7:20 tee time as a single. Paired up with two very nice guys. We were 2nd tee time and played in 3:52. Course was in great shape. Front 12 are much tighter and greens slower. 13-18 are open and greens much faster. Great experience would recommend.

Nice course but the pace was extremely slow and we quit after 9 holes. Upon arrival as well on the return no staff by the bag drop/ cart return and had to wait several minutes. Maybe I am spoiled by other true country clubs in the area but it was a disappointing Disney experience

Played there yesterday. Course was a little wet but that was understandable with all of the recent rain in the area. Tee boxes and fairways were in very good shape. Greens overall weren't bad except for a few greens that recently had repair work done. There were also a few greens that had oil or hydraulic fluid stripes on them which means someone wasn't paying attention to the work that they were doing. Biggest issue that I had with the course was the prices for drinks. 2 small bottles of Powerade zero cost $17. I could buy a case for that price in the grocery store.

Great course. Played here July 11th, 2024. The course is very well maintained. Fun and challenging at the same time. Staff was great and it was good to see that a course has cart beverage services that come around quite a bit throughout the round. Will definitely find my way back to playing here again one day!

It’s a great golf course. I love the layout and can’t say enough good things about staffs’ incredible hospitality. And the golf cart is super nice; comes with beverages, towels and some cool tech features. I paired my phone with cart and enjoyed listening to my favorite 80’s while playing 18 holes.

But I can’t say it was the best experiences ever. For now. Unending construction is an eyesore for sure. Greens are painfully slow and the pace of play isn’t bearable at times. It took me over 5 hrs to complete a round.

But I’d come back to play (and I have) if there are some green fee deals to compensate for the less than acceptable conditions. Because playing Disney golf courses is definitely a positive experience. And make sure to look around if need to go near lakes because there are many alligators.

Course was fine, nothing spectacular but we’ve played it before so we knew what to expect. This was the morning of 3/13 and whoever the starter was was probably the most rude person we’ve encountered our entire trip. Why have someone with his personality in charge of dealing with the public? Complete lack of respect for any players.

I was leaving for a cruise out of Orlando and was arriving the day prior to the cruise and wanted to play golf and couldn’t think of any better place than a Disney course. I booked the tee time around 3 days before arriving and before arriving I had a family member who had never been on a golf course who wanted to come just to ride around and see the course. I wasn’t sure what Disney’s policy or terms for this so I called Disney Golf and the woman that I was transferred to was super rude when answering the phone even before I even spoke, I asked about the family member riding with me and she said that I was already paired with people who I would be sharing a cart with which is completely understandable and I don’t mind at all but I was just simply asking for the cart that I was already paying for that I could ride with my guest, she told me that I would have to pay extra for a cart which didn’t make sense because I had already paid for one in the tee time I wasn’t going to be using but I still understood that, the woman was super rude and continued to make it seem as if I had no clue what I was talking about or as if I didn’t know anything about being on a golf course. I couldn’t understand why she was so rude on the phone when I was only asking a simple question and so rude before I even spoke. I needed helped with a question and all I got was rude remarks which made me not even want to continue with the tee time anymore.

This was an unfortunate disappointment. The course overall is pretty, but it's hard to see through the construction on the first several holes. You follow that with overall condition of the course being poor. The greens are incredibly slow, and you can tell they are groomed for LOTS of play. We topped it all off with an incredibly slow pace of play. Starting on hole 8 we waited on EVERY SINGLE SHOT. 5.5 hours to get done. There was no one keeping pace up. Just an overall disappointment. Lots of GREAT golf in Orlando. No need to waste a round at this course.

The course was in bad condition and shouldn’t have been open to public. I understand that it rained the previous few days, but we should have been warned prior to paying in excess of $170. I even asked when checking in about the course conditions. The grass on the tee box was higher than the face of my driver and the course was under water. Spent a lot of time looking for plugged balls in the fairway. We voiced our concerns after the round, and the staff couldn't have cared less about our experience. Wasn’t very magical and will not be returning.

Course was in great shape! The course was definitely designed do that you need to plan out your shots. Can't just bomb it... Really need to strategize to have a good round. Fairways were pristine and all but one of the greens were true and immaculate. Wish the other golfers would show some respect and purchase a divot repair tool to repair their pock masks on the green as well as learn to sprinkle the dirt to refill their hacked fairway shots. 👍

Fabulous course !! I’m great shape. Fairways are plush as can be. Greens are in pretty good shape after being aerated I would say a week or 2 ago. Great layout. But why I didn’t give a 5 star rating is because on the course with it being so hot out , there were NO WATER COOLERS on the course. Only like 2 places to get ice with water. The cart gal left at 4:30 so after that you’re left without getting anything to stay hydrated. We teed off at 3:30 but still no matter what time of day they need to have water coolers out every 3 holes or so to help the golfers.

Had an absolute horrible time. This is a beautiful course but they had a very large group that was having a scramble tournament that did not follow the rules. We played for 5.5 hours and only made it to hole 13 before we had to finally call it quits. We waited 30 plus minutes at t boxes was horrible. We tried to talk to the manager and girl at pro shop they did not show any empathy at all. Gave us weak rain delay credit expecting us to come back and pay 90 dollars a round. Was just not worth it at all.

Absolutely worst experience I’ve ever had with Disney. 5 hours 26 minutes to finish the round!!!!! Cart girl came once on the 6th hole never seen again. There was a 10-some in front of us I repeat an 10-some! 15 minute wait in between every shot. Cart path only day as well. For reference I am a 8 handicap and avid golfer. I could not be more dissatisfied. If there was something less than 1 star that’s what I would give it

I played here on Monday and it was great. Greens were a little fast but the course was in great condition. I enjoyed the challenges this course provided between bunkers and water hazards. I am only on my second season golfing and I found this course as a good challenge. It seemed that golfers of all skill types were playing this course. The staff was extremely friendly. The starter was friendly and allowed us to leave a little early since we were ready. The ranger came by about three times and would tell us how the groups ahead of us were doing. The attendant that cleaned our clubs did a great job and was very personable. I like that you get a small bucket of balls to warm up with included with your green fees. The pace of play was great. The cart would tell you if you were running on pace. We were running 20 mins ahead of schedule. There is a lot of wild life on the course so be aware. There were a lot of wild turkeys. They didn’t bother anyone but they are there. We saw two gators which also didn’t bother us (but be mindful near water. they do live on the course) and we saw a raccoon. None of the animals bothered us but I thought it was worth a mention. Overall this was a wonderful course and I look forward to playing there again.

My father and I were excited to spend our vacation day playing here and by the end of the round truthfully would’ve been happier not playing golf at all. As a twosome we expected to get paired with another group but given that it was a Monday, and there were relatively few tee times booked, we were optimistic. As we reached the starter we realized we wouldn’t be playing alone, completely understandable, however my father and I aged 60 and 27 respectively, were matched with a father and his 3 year old son; who we were told would be a “ride along”, no questions asked, this is who you‘re going out with. Already, apprehensive my fears were soon confirmed as the 3 year old boy‘s shrill screams and playtime took over our round. If I wanted to spend the afternoon babysitting I certainly wouldn’t have paid 115$ to do so. Now the father was nice enough, and as 3 year olds go; the behavior could’ve been worse, but I wouldn’t call trying to tee off with a toddler running around behind you in the tee box and fearing him stumbling into your backswing relaxing. Simply put a resort quality golf course is not the place for a 3 year old to be running around, it’s not safe, and not the place to put the burden of babysitting on your fellow golfers. Heck, I know local 9 hole courses that wouldn’t tolerate this in a million years. The icing on the cake however, was the clubhouse and course attendants response to the situation. The course officials roaming on golf carts were just tickled pink that this youngster was out here, and when we indicated our displeasure, suggesting that the course have a minimum age requirement to the clubhouse attendant, we were told, “Well, this is how Disney does it.” Well if this is the environment Arnold Palmer Golf Management and Disney Golf are keen on maintaining, then I say save your money and skip the Palms, any public course can offer the same experience minus the babysitting!

We played two days after the course had been closed due to Hurricane Ian. They did a great job of draining the course. The course is built on swamp land. There was a little mixup with the tee times being booked on the wrong day. I showed up(on the wrong day) and told them I was military and the pro shop, combined with the starter guy, all came together to get me a walk-on time. It was a full card so there was some logistics at play. Ultimately they got me on and I have to say I really appreciate it. They were really nice about it and the veteran starter and I talked for a long while, until my tee time. Everybody was so cool. I’ll remember this place forever being that it was the ending of a long Disney trip. Except for the 97 I shot. Hopefully, I forget that one day.

Not pleased with my visit last visit here
The landscape around the golf course has been let go. Palms were trimmed and the trimming were thrown alongside the fairway or cartpath , were us golfers can see a bunch of dead debris throughout the course. I own a tree company and was very upset to see how the grounds crew couldnt drag this vegetation back into the woods to decompose out of site. Greens were in good shape. Drainage is a problem in all bunkers if they get a sight but of rain. Lake bueno vista course might be the in the best shape of all disney courses

Our starter, Mark from Iowa, and the course were 5 star. Unfortunately, we got jumped at the turn by a playing lesson which frustrated all of us and held us up. Additionally, when we got done there was no outside staff to greet us and when we wound up out front we were treated as if we're stupid. My wife and I are golf professionals and found outside operations w0ell below par. This below par is compared to our respective staffs both on the way in AND especially when we were done.
We're also DVC owners and were disappointed. Normally I'd throw $20 on the wheel 0; today they got five for being slackers.

The course was in fantastic condition, greens rolled like lightning. Everybody had nothing but awesome things to say about the course.

Cart path only. Saw only a few wet spots. Really no reason for CPO. Weeds in bunkers and on greens. Living on past reputation. They won’t last long if they don’t improve. Start with having the super actually check the course before making it cart path only and replace all the missing yardage numbers on sprinkler heads so a golfer has an idea of distance.

I played a week ago and was expecting another Disney experience and ended up being very disappointed in the shape of The Disney Palms Golf Course. It was beat up, the greens and tees were not the high quality I was expecting. How can some of the other top shelf courses in Orlando get it done but not Disney? The play rates were up there so I was expecting a bucket list experience that never materialized. After all those times seeing this course from the monorail hoping someday to play I have left Disney golf for good. There will be no other visits on my part.

Not unsurprisingly, Disney's Palm course takes its name from the liberal sprinkling of palm trees dotted around this enjoyable course. Together with the neighbouring Magnolia Course, the Palm formerly co-hosted the annual visit of the PGA Tour to Walt Disney World. In 2013 Arnold Palmer Design conducted an extensive revamp of the Palm, building new green complexes, re-shaping tees, and creating a new bunker design that has modernised this historic Joe Lee design.

I will start with the golf course was in pretty good shape. But besides that it was not up to par. The customer experience was some of the worst I have had ever experienced, and definitely not what you would expect from Disney. I was in the golf business for 6 years and would have been so embarrassed if this was my course. Let’s start with the starter taking 15 mins at the start to explain all the rules of the course and then the Marshall comes around after hole 7 to speed us up (we were 2 minutes behind) don’t give me that 15 min talk and we’ll stay on time. He stepped on his cart’s pedal during my back swing right behind me on that hole. Didn’t see the beverage cart until hole 7. We get to 10 and they start watering the back nine right in front of us. Green speeds dramatically changed from the front to the back. So we have to wait on some holes because they are watering the fairways and the Marshall comes out again to warn us that we are playing slow, well then don’t water the course with people on it. So we get to hole 17 and the Marshall comes out again to warn us of slow play. In the end we played in 4 hours and 15 minutes which is exactly the amount of time you should play in. All in all one of the worst experiences of golf at a place where customer service is so highly talked about.

They don’t answer the phones. Always busy! How does a big company, like Disney, not have an answering service. At least to acknowledge you, versus a busy signal. Unprofessional!!!

This place caters to the military and veterans. Great amenities with a military discount. Provides shuttle service to and from the Disney parks. Only negative is that everything is very costly, but I guess that's par for the course at Disney.

I enjoy the Palm during the dry season. If it's been raining consistently or often this course can turn into a hazard on its own. Placement of bunkers will keep you on your toes.

Great course. Fairways in good shape, greens roll true. It was a little mucky near some of the cart paths but it is the rainy season so some wetness was to be expected.

Great course to play in Disney. Come play where the pros played. This is a fun course for all skill levels. It's not very long from the whites but it will still challenge and tempt you along the way. Plenty of water, sand, and trees to go around. You will receive a little history lesson on every tee. Good chance to run into wildlife also. Very well taken care of course and the employees are friendly and very helpful. Take the time to play one round here, you will be glad you did.

Decent course, HORRIBLE experience, worse GM, no resolution to my problems therefor I don't need to go back. Starter was rude, GM didn't care about the experience. Disney needs to step up their game.
Too many other courses in the area to play to go back to one I had a bad experience on multiple levels.

EDIT: In response to thier response.

We NEVER spoke on the phone.

I was NEVER told of a $15 cart fee, I was told (discounted member rate). When I supposedly already had a "refund" coming that I could only use for a future round of golf in 6 months or pro shop apparel. So It was my last day in Florida, and the "refund" was $36, so I would have had to spend another $36 to get a shirt when I was already fuming. Not a good play Disney.

Nice course. Well kept and nice features like the gps screens in the carts. Course was moving too slow for my liking so I Called it after 7 holes. Went into the pro shop and asked about a replay rate to come back and the manager was super cool and gave me a rain check credit for the 11 holes I didn’t finish. I like to be in a round around 3 hours and he said they average 20 minute holes with a 4.5 hour round time. I teed off on a Monday at 11 which usually is quieter and moves quicker with the early birds finished up but I Was stuck behind non-English speakers and non-golfers trying to play a round so you know how that’s going to play out. He said try later in the day another time which I will.

Very slow play only managed 9 holes after nearly 4 hours off play Unfortunately ''t off was the back 9. One as the started recommend we start in the 10th saying we would benefit from this as it was busy on the front nine. Extremely disappointed as we've been looking forward to playing a Disney golf course. Sad😢
