Words can not fully capture the depth of my gratitude for the exceptional staff and teachers at Donna Lee Dance Studio. When I first enrolled my three children, I had hopes for their growth, but I was also filled with uncertainty. My daughters, both on the autism spectrum, faced challenges with coordination and social interaction. Today, I am thrilled to share the remarkable transformation they have undergone, thanks to the unwavering commitment and expertise of the educators at Donna Lee.

One of my daughters initially struggled with standing straight, often experiencing clumsiness and tantrums, along with difficulties in following directions. The teachers at Donna Lee instinctively knew how to connect with her, providing the calm and encouragement she desperately needed. Today, I am proud to see her standing tall, confidently following directions, and dancing with joy. She is a testament to the power of perseverance, and the love and support from Donna Lee’s educators have made all the difference in her journey.

My other daughter has also flourished in this nurturing environment. The dedicated staff recognized her potential and encouraged her growth, transforming her into a confident and strong dancer. She has become a role model for her sister, showcasing compassion and excellence. It brings me immense joy to witness her shine as an outstanding performer.

Additionally, my son Gordo has benefited immensely from his experiences at Donna Lee. He is passionate about sports, particularly baseball and soccer, but he also loves ballet. The training he receives in dance has made him stronger, more agile, and better prepared for his athletic endeavors. The balance between sports and dance has not only enhanced his physical abilities but has also instilled in him a sense of discipline and grace.

I am incredibly grateful for the entire team at Donna Lee Dance Studio. Their dedication to helping children become the best versions of themselves is truly inspiring. The environment fosters not only artistic talent but also character development, helping my children grow into compassionate and capable individuals.

This is our 13th year @Donna Lee, and my 3 children have taken ballet, acrobatics, tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical. The instructors are amazing and attentive and always provide the kids with honest feedback! Donna Lee performances always have an element of classical technique and emotional touch to bring tears to my eyes!!! It is not competitive dance, but it is working with your dancer's capabilities and pushing them as far as they want to go!

Donna Lee is the gem of homestead! I danced here throughout my life, and now my kids! The teachers and office staff take such great care of ALL the children, are kind and respectful, and encourage such a wonderful sense of community.

Absolutely the best dance studio, with excellent teachers and staff. Their understanding of our daughter Penelope and their love and care is something that is priceless to our family. Ms. Reena is amazing and a wonderful teacher and we see the love and genuine care of our daughter and the other children. The dances this summer were so fun to watch weekly and the growth as the summer went on and all the new dance moves was so much fun. We have done a mini season, full season, two full summer camps and we can't get enough of this school. We absolutely love Donna Lee Studio of Dance! It's obvious that the teachers and office staff absolutely love what they do. Thank you for being a part of our village in raising our daughter. When our daughter was born, doctors said she may not even walk or talk and look at her dancing and smiling through her childhood and a huge part of that is thanks to DLS. She loves going to the studio and looks forward to seeing you all every week. We cannot even begin to describe what a blessing DLS has been. DLS has been our dance therapy! Our 3 girls have been at Donna Lee for the past 8 years. We love this studio so much! The teachers are amazing and have helped shape our girls into beautiful young dancers. Donna Lee is a second home to us and there is no place else our girls would rather be. The recitals each year are amazing! This studio is amazing; phenomenal teachers to which I have the most upmost respect. All of the teachers have danced professionally at one point or another. My daughter has been dancing at Donna Lee Studio of Dance for going on 7 years now and I am extremely happy she goes there. Where to begin. My girls have been dancing at DLS since they were 2-3 years old. I bring my girls here because there is no where else they rather be. Donna lee is a second home to my girls and they cherish every moment they are in the studio with their amazing teachers and peers who have become their best friends.
Not only is it important for my girls to learn proper technique and skills, It’s important that they learn how to respect and honor themselves and others. I feel like Donna Lee has shaped my girls into the beautiful dancers they are, inside and out, because they work to make sure that their character matures just as much as their dancing.
Both Kaitlyn and Mary have learned so much at Donna Lee Studio from tying their pointe shoes to proper class etiquette. Most importantly, they have both learned what it’s like to be a part of a team and community that counts on them to be hard working and dedicated. They have learned how to work with others and to continue a positive attitude in order to work towards their goals. I registered my 5 year old for the 2nd week of camp, lets just say she ended up doing the following 3 weeks as well. She has had the best time learning new dance routines, doing acro and hip hop, meeting princesses, doing arts, crafts, playing games and so much more. This is a well put together camp full of fun and excitement for the girls. Today is the last day of camp my baby girl was very sad when she woke up knowing this was it for this summer. She will be back next year doing all 5 not just 4 weeks of fun!
