It scares me how the person at the front desk can be so rude and aggressive. I just went to get some informations and I felt so bad! Then I saw the reviews, it’s not just with me !

This was my first and last visit. If you look at the reviews regarding the staff, it stands to be true. They are aggressive, rude, very immature, and unprofessional. Upon walking in, the staff was screaming at the children, one even had a blow horn. Another was complaining about a child who was annoying to her. They don’t greet you either so be prepared to walk into confusion and chaos. The free play Friday isn’t impressive, they have two bounce houses and nothing more. There’s nothing actually set up for young kids, this is mainly for older kids to get a quick bounce house fix. I’ll be sure to spread word to the other moms to find a more pleasant place to go.

been going to the open gym sessions at this gym weekly for 6 years. have had plenty of gripes with them over that time, for instance when they schedule practice over the same time slots and me and my friends can't use the floor, or when they make no announcement anywhere that it is canceled (last week), or the person running the open gym kicks everyone out 10 minutes before the session should be over because "i want to go home, get out", but i continued going because it was a decently central gym with decent equipment (not the tumble track, worst i've ever been on by far) that people could make it to regularly.
however, last night, we were playing music, as has always been allowed, when girl in charge of signing people in turns off the speaker without warning. i didn't even see it, had no clue what was going on, so i went over, saw it was turned off, turned it back on, and continued playing music. extremely immature. after 1 more song, she went over, and turned the speaker to almost no volume. whatever. everyone was upset, but we can still train with quieter music. less than a song later, she went over to one of the guys she knew and had him unplug the sepaker and walk off with it. dead silence. i was upset, and spoke up like "hey, that is incredibly immature! if you want other music, talk to us! we are more than happy to change it, but you haven't said a word to me!" worker wouldn't even look at me. we got the speaker back, continued training and having a good time. she called the cops on me and had me trespassed from the building. everyone was upset, owner who came refused to talk to me or anyone in out over a dozen person group who spoke up for me. girl still refused to say anything.
incredibly immature and childish workers, toxic coach who i have seen screaming at the girls on her team until they are crying on numerous occasions, no communication. 6 years going there, causing no trouble, and they called the cops on me. absolutely ridiculous.

Recently a friend of mine was trespassed for seemingly no reason over a speaker playing music of all things, the staff handled the situation very childishly and even called the police over a matter that could have been handled civilly and calmly. Please do NOT go here or continue supporting the deeply immature staff and personnel.

Tonight, the girl at the front desk called the cops on my best friend just because she didn’t like his music. She never asked him to turn it down, never mentioned it, never said a single word to him. They just got mad at him out of nowhere, and when he asked what was going on, they didn’t answer. Then they issued him a trespassing warning for an entire year. Everyone saw what happened, and even the cops said there was nothing they could do—even though they agreed with my friend.

Just had my daughter’s 5th birthday party here and it was a fantastic time! There were 4 inflatables (obstacle course, basketball, slide, and ax throwing) plus trampolines and foam pit. All the kids had a great time running around. Our party host was fantastic and did a great job setting up our decorations, serving the pizza and cupcakes, and helping take the gifts back to the car. All our daughters friends had a great time and didn’t want to leave! Great birthday place!

We love double down for birthday parties! They make it so easy with their friendly staff to help set up, pass out pizza and cake, and clean up. The kids love playing on the trampolines, foam pit, and bounce houses. It’s our favorite way to host a birthday! 🥳

I went to Double Down for a birthday party. My kids (2 and 4) had a lot of fun. The place is spacious, with large open area for kids to run around. They also offered one large bounce house, a large inflatable slide, axe throwing, two trampoline areas, and foam pit. They have two rooms for parties. Because the place is not as busy, it felt like we were having a private party inside. The only negative is that once the kids go to the room to eat and sing happy birthday, they cannot go back to the play area. The staff said they have this rule to avoid kids throwing up. This was disappointing. All families in our group went to eat a bit earlier because we were hungry. Then after eating we had to finish our party and leave the place early because kids couldn't go back to play. Everyone was disappointed with this rule and its outcome.

We’ve been part of the Double Down family for many years now. Terri and Jenn and the staff at Double Down work their butts off and really CARE about the kids. Cheer is not a sport for the faint of heart. It’s challenging and tough and awe-inspiring and sometimes heartbreaking…and the coaches don’t coddle the kids, but they sure do love them. My daughter is 12 now and she’s learned teamwork, discipline, work ethic, and how to conquer fear. She’s also one heck of an athlete now. And Double Down is her favorite place in the world to be.

Foam pit, bounce houses and slides, trampoline track, and spring floors... This is a fun spot and great space for kids to burn off energy. They've got two party room spaces. There's a vending machine in the lobby and plenty of parking. The only downside is they definitely don't enforce the 'no-shoes on the mat' rule (people everywhere with shoes on), so the mats were pretty dirty.

My daughter just finished her first season cheering competitively with Double Down. Overall a positive review but I did want to leave a review because when I was new looking for detailed reviews, they were hard to find.

My then 8 yo was new to cheer, but she’s done dance and gym classes for a few years so has some rhythm, lol.

The communication is fabulous. The owner, Terri, is wonderful. She’s always around to answer questions which I am grateful for. They practiced all summer which I loved, and when school started they do follow the public school system. Unfortunately we don’t go there so that caused us to miss a few important choreography classes. I posted about it in the online group we belong to, but no one was concerned. I have to assume this was because my daughter was one of the older ones on her team and could pick things up fairly quickly. I let it slide.

It is expensive but my daughter loved it! The girls were great and had a sweet bond. School started and the practices were twice a week, pretty decent. The last half hour of one day was for tumbling. It was kind of a joke because it was many girls for 2-3 coaches and a lot of standing around. In the entire year my daughter cheered, she did not obtain one new skill or improve any skills. I definitely could have paid extra for a tumbling private, but she was on track with the other girls, so didn’t seem necessary. I also realized that a half hour once a week is impossible to really get skills, so again, let that slide.

The coaches were a little weird about absences. If you missed, you needed a doctors note. Well, do you go to the doctor every time you have a minor issue? I’m not sure. But my daughter missed a practice and the coach messaged saying it was mandatory she be there before the competition. I said I was so sorry, if she can’t compete we completely understand. They said don’t let it happen again. Well I talked to many other parents whose girls had missed and they were never threatened about missing a competition, so I’m not sure the deal. I do think this was more a coach thing than an owner issue. I believe there were maybe favorites played and my daughter was not one. She didn’t care, she loved going.

Ok wrapping this up. It is expensive. Competitions are fun. Not learning much at all. Coaches are college kids who may or may not be trained in correct form tumbling. I wanted her to try another season, but ultimately she wants to do another sport and the money for not improving and possibly being on the same team with the same coaches sounds rough.

My daughter joined cheer in the summer of 2022. She had no prior cheer experience, but the coaches welcomed her, and she was there to indeed learn. She showed up every practice with a good attitude and ready to develop some skills. I received texts from the coaches on how enthusiastic she was and what great effort she put forth.

We missed a practice due to a personal emergency I had-(I was just unable to get her there).

I followed the “protocol” in telling the coach (via text) as well as posting on the app used by the team for communication, that due to an unforeseen circumstance, I couldn’t manage to get her there.

I was notified the next day by email, that ALL absences need to be explained with the reason. Without exception. Here is an excerpt from the email I received:

“It's our policy that if an athlete misses practice they must communicate with their coach why they are missing practice. The only reasons for an excused miss practice is a graded school event and if a child is sick (with dr. note just like school)…”

The reason I couldn’t get her to practice was not embarrassing, but private and emergent. She had excellent attendance prior, and had NO issues. She was participating and I received great feedback from
Her coaches.

She was summarily asked to leave the team. The coach was specific in saying that although she only missed one practice, their policies “cannot be changed”, and she was kicked off.

The reason I am posting this is not because I think my kid is perfect and I want to complain. No. My husband is a coach of a local sports team of middle
School girls for several years. His primary job as a coach, is to SPEAK TO HIS PLAYERS. Coaching is just that- you talk to your athletes and tell them how they can improve, and how they did well. You teach them to be accountable. You talk to them so they learn how to be accountable and, grow into adults.

My elder daughter, has played a specific sport since third grade, and she gets coached like she should. She receives criticism when it’s warranted, and praise when it’s earned. Her coaches do not tell US, her parents…they tell HER, the athlete.

This coach cowardly emailed me, and did NOT speak to my daughter. She didn’t have the courtesy to have us come in so she could tell her in person why she was being kicked out. Instead, she chose the very UN coach-like way, and sent an email to me.

I emailed for an explanation as to why she was kicked off-several times. I said her absence was my fault-however I didn’t feel I needed to disclose the exact reason. I feel that gymnastics coaches haven’t earned the right to know the private details of my life.

She missed one practice. She was kicked off. I got no reply from the coaches. I asked if she was unsportsmanlike, if she had conflict with other kids, if she was apathetic or disrespectful. I got nothing back but crickets.

I had to explain to my daughter that she was asked to leave the team because of an absence, and my refusal to disclose the reason. I told her the way it was done was unprofessional, and with extreme cowardice. Since we are a sports family, we know how it should be done. —-This is not the way. Disgraceful.

After attending several birthday parties here, my daughter begged to go back for Friday night open gym, where it is advertised that kids can play on the inflatables and use the gym equipment for a few hours (like the birthday parties). Only one inflatable was up the whole time we were there (3 hours) and most of what was happening was a swarm of middle schoolers whose parents had dropped them off were playing football and storming what little equipment was available for my daughter and her friend to use. Several times my daughter was knocked over or shoved out of the way as older kids came running in her direction to catch the football or jump on the trampoline she was on. I asked the attendant why the other inflatables were down, leaving very little for these kids to do, and he said that because they were new the kids could not use them. It appears that Friday night is actually a parents’ night out event. We were the only parents there all evening, but there were about 30 kids besides ours with minimal supervision, mostly not even interested in gymnastics or the inflatables. Complete waste of time and money.

Open gym for the kids to run and play. My seven year old and two year old celebrated their birthdays here on a Saturday about three weeks ago. I had to inform the attendant/staff that there were kids and parents from the previous party in the adventure zone during my “exclusive” party session. I did NOT receive Marcos pizza as advertised on the website , instead I received Dominos and the party after me received Papa Johns! The host helped set up decorations, serve and clean up. I called mgmt/coordinator the following Monday to address a couple of my concerns “Terri”, I believe it is., welp let’s say I’m still waiting. No call back!!!!! All in all the kids enjoyed themselves, but I’m on the fence as to whether I would ever return or recommend this place because there was NO follow -up from management. It’s a business

This place is great for birthday parties. The staff sets up all the supplies and takes care of all the cleanup. They serve the food too. It's not cheap, but the kids enjoy the bounce houses, slide, foam pit, and trampolines.

My only negative comment is about the staff during the play time. I understand that they need time to setup the table, cups, plates, etc, but after that they are no where to be found. If they are at the desk they are surfing the internet. I would think they would be in the play area monitoring what is going on. Several times at other parties, children have gotten into a backroom and pulled out items that they shouldn't have. I don't think the staff handled it well. If you don't want the kids in there, then put a door up or be in the area to watch what's happening in your facility.

Fun place for kids parties. Can feel like a conveyor belt when they are busy, bit it is what it is. The kids had a great time and that's all that matters

Good place to have kid birthday parties. There is no organized play like at some other kid gyms. It is just let them loose.
