My 4yr and 6yr old boys had swim lessons with Kimberly over the summer this year and it was an all around wonderful experience. Kimberly is very patient, kind and easy to work with. My 6yr old was never afraid and was ready to jump right in each day. My 4y old was a little more timid but Kimberly made him feel at ease with constant encouragement.

Both of my boys did great with the lessons and now my wife and I are confident with their swimming ability in any situation, whether that is swimming at a pool with friends or worst case scenario if they were to fall into a pool or body of water by accident with clothes and shoes on. They were taught the swim-float-swim method so that if they were not able to swim to the edge of the body of water all at once, they can stop, float to catch their breath, then swim more. As a test at the end of all the lessons, the child is tossed into the pool fully clothed with shoes and even a heavy jacket, to let them feel like what it is to have wet clothing on and to prove that they can swim-float-swim in a situation like that. It's amazing to see them do this!

I highly recommend Early Learning Swim Academy. Of all the things you can spend money on for your kids, swim lessons should be at the top of the list! As parents your number one responsibility is keeping your children safe, and teaching them to swim, especially in Florida, is a must!

Finally, my kids both have Florida's Step Up PEP scholarship and we used that to pay for the lessons. We had to pay up front and then get reimbursed, but Kimberly was looking into becoming an approved vendor for the Step Up program so that payments can be made directly from your Step Up account to her, rather then getting reimbursed. Ask her about it!

Kimberly has not only expert level skills/experience but also has a ton of advice, perspective and drowning prevention knowledge to share. What I appreciated most was that I never felt rushed or expedited --I could sit with my toddler to prepare and/or calm down after a lesson. She was uniquely considerate, compassionate and adaptable.

Living in Florida and surrounded by water, having Kim teach my kids how to save themselves in case of an accident was the best decision ever! Kim is fantastic!

We just completed 5 weeks swim survival with Kim and she did an outstanding job with our daughter who is not yet 2. She was very patient even on the bad days (crying toddler). Highly recommend. We will be returning for refreshers.

Kim is a wonderful swim instructor and helped both of my sons learn rescue swimming. She was patient, and very knowledgeable. I am grateful for her help and the gift of peace of mind near water. My kids both loved lessons and I’m looking forward to bringing my daughter back when she’s old enough.
