We are a military family and leaving our last Gymnastic's at our last duty station was heart breaking. When we found Edgewater we were immediately welcomed by not only the coaches and owner but the parents. It truly turns into a family. I can't even imagine leaving here, praying that day is far into the future. Edgewater is so amazing, the coaches do such a beautiful job bringing up these girls confidences to make the impossible, POSSIBLE. On the parent side of things, the coaches do a fine job being open with communication regarding my children and where they are with their skills. They are also very organized with laying out schedules, finances, and events. I highly recommend Edgewater.

Edgewater Gymnastics rebuilt my child after her battle with cancer at 4 years old. Upon losing her hair, several kids had been mean to her and made her feel less than for circumstances she had no control over. Edgewater didn’t tolerate that from gymnasts. She never had an instant where she felt less than her peers at this gym. The gymnasts are in an environment where love and growth were nurtured by students, coaches and parents alike. My daughter has grown physically and mentally by coaches that help develop the whole child. We are thankful for her coaches and journey each day.

This gym truly stands above the rest! We have been to several gyms in our short eight year gymnastics career because we are a military family. This gym welcomed us with open arms after a major disaster destroyed their gym. The coaches, owners and gym families are phenomenal! Pam and Anna really know how to learn each girl individually and love them so big! Their coaching technique is the perfect combination of discipline, structure and lots of love... At meets we sound like a college football game because these girls and their families cheer each other on so big! We are definitely a force! I would recommend Edgewater gymnastics over any other gym 10 out of 10!

My daughter has been a part of Edgewater Gymnastics for many years now. The coaches and staff have cultivated a family atmosphere in the gym which develops more than just athletic ability in the girls. Teamwork, perseverance, kindness, strength, and encouragement are all modeled on a daily basis for the gymnasts. Edgewater is more than just a place that I take my child. It has become her second home. Pam and Anna have become family. We are so thankful for both of them. We absolutely love Edgewater Gymnastics! We are military and relocated to the area about 6 months ago and this gym has become like family! Such a wonderful and positive environment! Edgewater Gymnastics is truly the best thing that has happened to my 8 year old! The atmosphere is amazing to watch in action! The coaches and other athletes go above and beyond for each child. This is my daughters second season with Edgewater Gymnastics. The amount of growth, strength, and confidence that I have seen in her skills is unprecedented and only comes from GREAT coaching! The coaches are top notch and ALWAYS have the girls best interest at heart teaching the power of positivity and team work. One of the things that stand out as a spectator compared to other gyms is how the girls encourage one another and genuinely want each other to succeed, again only comes from great coaching. EGA is much more than a gym for my daughter to take gymnastics. It is literally her second family. She would spend all of her free time at the gym if she could. The coaches love their girls like they are their own which is the result of the close sisterhood our teams have. Our coaches give our girls more than just coaching. The best gym in town, hands down! You can tell the owner Pam (who is such a warm and caring person) and all of the other coaches truly love what they do and care about all of their gymnasts. The gym has a great atmosphere where they encourage the girls to lift each other up as team mates, which makes the sport that much more enjoyable for the girls and creates close friendships. I grew up playing sports my whole life, but I never understood what true coaching was until my daughter started at Edgewater. Positivity and kindness are the core values that make up this gym and its coaches. I have been attending this gym for 8 years and they are not like other gyms. In the gymnastics community, it is common for a gym to have a toxic community and promote negativity. But, Edgewater Gymnastics is a great place to send your daughter to do gymnastics because she will learn great life skills and also great gymnastics skills.

We have been apart of 4 gyms and this one has some of the best coaches we’ve had. They put on the most organized and professional meets which is probably due to their exemplary coaches and parents. I am a gymnastic here going on five years and this gym is the best. I would be no where near where I am today as a gymnasts without them. Pam and Anna, the coaches, always help us mentally and physically improve. We always have tons of fun while training. This is a great gym if you ever need a gym home.

Being a former elite and collegiate gymnast , this sport has been a large part of my life for a long time. It has been heartbreaking to watch what has happened to USA gymnastics over the years and I was honestly hesitant when my daughter wanted to return to a competitive team. Then we moved to the area and we met the Edgewater family! Pam and Anna are so passionate and the girls welcomed my daughter with open arms. Edgewater is truly a model of what a gym should be! A safe, nurturing environment where the girls not only have fun and love what they are doing, but excel in the best sport in the world.
