This is where most people in the fitness industry come to train. If you want to get inspired and get a real workout experience like no other, you have to go check it out for yourself!
The posing room has great angles as well and if you’re looking for the complete experience they include the recovery (Infrared sauna, cold plunge, compression boots) in their membership packages. Definitely one of a kind place! 10/10

I want to take a moment to give credit where it’s due—this is hands down the best gym I’ve ever been to, and here’s why. As a bodybuilder, I have specific training needs, but many of my friends train differently. This gym is the one place where we can all train together, no matter our individual styles.

For example, one of my friends does CrossFit (don’t get me started, but he’s still my buddy), and he has all the tools and space he needs to enjoy his workouts. Meanwhile, I can focus on using state-of-the-art equipment to get the best pump possible. The environment here fosters hard work, camaraderie, and mutual respect, making it an unparalleled training space.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Been a member forever, and honestly, you never know who you’ll run into here. It could be a newbie figuring out how to hold a dumbbell, a professional bodybuilder, or even Shaquille O’Neal casually towering over the leg press. What’s consistent is that everyone here grinds hard, supports each other, and the equipment? Forget it—this gym is so stacked, it’s like the buffet of gains.

But the real plot twist? One of the hardest-working members I’ve chatted with, Urosh, just became the general manager. This guy’s the real deal—a full-on bodybuilder. He looks like he might eat you for not reracking weights, but turns out he’s one of the nicest dudes ever. I am having the worst experience with this gym and its management. I did everything needed to cancel my membership and I still got charged for 10 months! I then try and contact the gym once I noticed I was still getting charged and once I asked for management they ghost me. I received an email stating I would get my refund back and yet nothing has happened. I’d hope they make this right! As they are very quick to take your money monthly but not take responsibility when they have a mess up on their part. It’s been more than a week since I received this.

Overall one of the better gyms in Miami area. Great selection of new and old equipment. Most people lifting are serious and focused, not too many camera tripods. Some negatives are it's not very clean( most gyms this size have cleaners all day long working, not here) and while older equipment can be awesome it's not well maintained.

Very well equipped. But the bathrooms are extremely dirty all the time. And they look old and musty. You have 6 of them for the entire gym, it’s a hassle when you have to pee because there’s always people taking showers and they take forever. There’s no sauna or any other amenities. I only come here bc it’s a convenient location for me, and the gym is well equipped, but for the price you can get way more at other places like UFC or Powerhouse imo.

Been to Miami Beach and Downtown locations.. excellent gym with plenty of equipment. As with any gym though you have to deal with poor etiquette and it seems to be abundant at the downtown location. Not knocking the gym itself but be warned the clientele are very educated in getting huge, but don't have the required brain cells to be considerate of others (the photo is an example of multiple people thinking the reverse hyper is there for water bottles) 🤔. Would rate 5 stars if the employees enforced better etiquette.

For 7 years I have been struggling to find a workout plan / Gym that works for me and more importantly equipment that can provide me the proper workout. When joining Elev8tion this year, I was stunned and amazed at the variety of gym equipment for almost every muscle group in my body but most importantly I was able to meet an amazing fitness trainer by the name of James Pape and he has changed my life drastically. More than any other person in my whole life. The motivation, encouragements, Meal Ideas, Workouts, & all around natural support and guidance James Pape has provided has helped me lose about 15 pounds in a matter of 3 weeks and the grind doesn't stop there. I appreciate Elev8tion for having an open door for every kind of person. I don't think I would have met my awesome Fitness trainer James Pape without it !!!! And the last thing to mention is that almost every person working out in that gym is an awesome support, when someone sees you giving it your all, the encouragement other people working out give you makes you feel like family. This is the North Miami Beach location. The staff is terrific and the facility is very clean with plenty of spray bottles and paper towels. You could eat off of the floors. A day pass is $25 and it was really quick to get registered. There’s all kinds of equipment but it is a little tight, relative to some of the other gyms I’ve visited. There’s a landing strip of artificial turf that is fairly narrow but good. There’s great CrossFit style equipment like an assault runner, an assault bike, a ski erg and other cool toys. Some incredible lifting machines and very creative new ones that I have never seen before but are awesome. This gym has something for all kinds of fitness. Check this place out if you’re in the area.

I walked into this gym one day and ready the flyer about the rates / locations / and was going to join but once I seen the price that would have been due in full it didn't add up to what I was told do I said I'll just buy a gym pass for the day since I also wanted to check out powerhouse and their brand new beautiful facility.
Checked out powerhouse and then looked once more at Elev8tion website. Looking at the website the prices appeared better than I thought I was given while in the gym "awesome right" SO TODAY I CALLED I asked to speak to a manager about the membership and the front doom man whose name I couldn't hear with it being so loud asked me why I need to talk to a manager I said about a membership he asked why again I said because I worked out on a day pass and I think I was mistaken with the information I got that day. Then he asked again SO WHY A MANAGER ‍ I said when is a manager there to talk to he said everyday and I said what are you not understanding about my line of questions and my desire to speak to a manager to become a member and he HUGE UP ON ME just WOW

It took them 3 weeks to send my membership number. Not a problem. I can stay in line and give my phone number each time. Got lots of time to spare right ? Who doesn’t ?
Then you walk in, nice equipped gym but honestly, I always felt more like I’m inside a photography studio and always on their way.
You gotta wait for the members finish their videos and photos first, then you can workout.
No problem again, if you like that vibe and got the time, this place has what it takes.
Now, let’s talk about cancellation, when I first signed in, they told me with smiles that they provide month by month membership, so no headaches on canceling and even offered a freeze membership option.
Now, that I decided to cancel because I really really don’t feel like waisting my time in there anymore, the website doesn’t work, the email they provide doesn’t work, the front desk is careless, meaning, the gym looks very appealing outside but the reality inside the system is very ugly and defective.

Este gym es puro nombre. Siempre hay máquinas rotas, los baños dan asco no hay Higini para las mujeres, el piso siempre está sucio. Los entrenadores nada profesionales, tienes un marco de reglas en el muro totalmente diferentes a lo que se puede hacer en el gym. Esto es un gym de bodybuilders? Parece LA fitness. This gym is amazing I was in the city for the week and got the week pass and was blown away from when I first walked in the amount of motivation and work ethic from everyone was unmatched. They have every piece of workout equipment from strength training to bodybuilding. Everyone who works here is amazing and was very helpful with anything I needed and they make excellent shakes to finish off a workout!

Day pass is 26.50, came here to find that but it's not posted anywhere. 6.50 more than the usual day pass in the area, but they do have alot of space and equipment. Even with all the space and equipment it still feels busy at all times of the day. This is one of the best gyms in Miami and you'll have to pay the toll for that.

My Favorite Gym in Miami - This is not your average gym full of stupid people wasting time on their phone seating on the machine you want to use , everything here mean Busisnes , every one that come here is Serious and have Goals , Come focus to Train or go Home , no BS allowed around here 🙏🏼

EDIT: The following, plus the inability to cancel subscription there without sending the management team an email has made me drop this to 1 star. They either are making too much money to care or something. I'd give this a 0/5 if possible for the above reason alone, it's illegal to force customers to not be able to cancel their subscription in a relatively easy way and they tried to charge me for it anyways.

Great equipment and area, I’m giving it a conditional 3 stars, based on the following complaints
- People don’t wipe down equipment and there’s little enforcement of it, not a huge deal but worth mentioning
- The water fountain in the main room has a red filter, IMO there’s a lot of things that can go wrong in any situation but not having a proper water filter is not okay in a gym.
- Equipment and Weights - the weight plates are everywhere, again not a huge deal more so how the people treat their gym. Additionally there’s some equipment thats been broken since I got there.

Overall I quite like it, but it feels like we’re paying for the name of the gym and the square footage rather than an 89$/month gym

I’ll update this once they fix the water fountain at least.

This gym is badass. I reminds of the famous Gold Gym in Venice, CA. Old school, but with new equipment and members who come to do more than stare at their cell phones.

The gym is very dirty, the floors are full of dirt, spills, etc…the bathrooms are unsanitary, the gym smells musty. No one wipes the machines after use, I’ve seen dogs, people eating in the work out rooms. It’s so dirty you don’t even want to put your bag on the floor. The manager never answers emails and the people at the front have no idea of how the memberships even work. The weights are all over the place so you can never find then. The machines are very old, some don’t even work properly. With covid getting worse they should be keeping the place clean at minimum…… I will be canceling my membership.

I have been a member at Elev8tion fitness for 4 years now. Yay!! & happy 4yr Gym-anniversary. OG Club. Clearly this review is Long Overdue. I have witnessed this gym get bigger & better every quarter. As a Female it can be quiet intimidating going to a coed gym. We are our worst critics and I’ll admit some of us get crazy thinking we are receiving inappropriate attention. It’s in our heads ladies. This gym has an assortment of shapes and sizes to admire and use as motivation. I have always felt safe and comfortable. If ever I feel the need to address any concern, I feel confident to speak to any of the staff members there. The Owner, Angel, is a pretty Cool Cat😉. Gerald is an OG and happens to be my favorite. This amazing gym is Constantly adding equipment, classes, supplemental drinks and simply switching it up so there’s always something for everyone. Whether you are new to the area, new to your fitness Journey or body builder/ competitor. There is enough equipment and space for everyone. I recommend anyone looking for a cool clean gym,This is the place. My only downfall is that I don’t take enough advantage of all the equipment here. Welcome to Miami. Where we ALL strive to look our best.

I must add, that all tho I love to see more and more women jumping on their health and fitness journeys, (the ratio of women to men has increased significantly in Elev8tion since day 1. I Love to see it) but if you are on here expressing a negative review and have never even stepped foot in any of the 3 facilities…umm as a business owner myself, Bye ✌🏽

Local ir visitor this is the gym you need and worth every penny enny. 3 different areas expanded to every side to the original one, weightlifting, machines, barbells, dumbells, crossfit racks, boxing area, whatever you need. It is always clean and with very cool environment. When in Miami elevation it is.

Literally THE BEST and only gym in Miami for me ! Let’s talk facts.

1. Cleanliness: SUPER clean gym. ALWAYS.

2. Friendliness: the staff, manager, owners are all super friendly ! Even the other gym goers! Angel has gone out of his way multiple times to say hi and ask about my experience. He’s always looking for feedback and ways to improve our experience at the gym.

3. The trainers are all amazing!

4. The gym keeps us fit with all up-to-date equipment.

5. Have you checked out the new posing studio in the downtown location!? Ángels fiancée, Roe and his step-daughter Jade , KILLED IT with the artwork and positive vibes!! Definitely it must see.

6. The positive vibes and energy in this gym is where it’s at !!

7. If you aren’t working out at Elev8tion then what are you waiting for you?! Are you even working out?!

This is an exceptional gym and I would -- and do -- highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in improving one's health, fitness, and/or physique, whether a beginner or far more advanced. The founder & owner invests tremendously into improving the overall workout experience for everyone who works out there. The only place I can think of that I've been that has comparable equipment or offers a comparable quality of workout and experience is the Gold's Gym in Venice, California (which is, mind you, often referred to as the Mecca of Bodybuilding). The staff is friendly, and there are a substantial number of members who are very knowledgeable as it pertains to anything fitness related, from form variations on particular exercises to nutrition and recovery outside of the gym. I'm very impressed with the people who work out there and am grateful for the people I've met and relationships I've cultivated so far. My experience (thus far) has been unambiguously positive. Essentially all of my workouts have been at the "downtown" (Wynwood) location, which I think was the original location. Overall, I think it's a great value and again would highly recommend.

For the downtown location - Great equipment, overly crowded, never any parking, no place to stretch. I asked the owner if they would be getting more parking to accommodate for the increase in members and, that idea was rejected and I was told to workout at a different time if I was unhappy with the parking situation.

Great gym but the only reason why I signed up there was because I needed a trainer. I trained one-on-one with Lawrence and it was worth the time and money. He helped me correct my posture and I can see a big difference after training with him only 12 sessions.

Left a premium fitness club and started going to Elev8tion Fitness 4 months ago. Let me tell you … 10/10 would recommend! Besides the great ambiance and classes, I’ve been training one-on-one with Lawrence and he made all the difference for me. He holds you accountable, customizes your workouts so you get the most out of your time there. Had major knee pain, back pain but thanks to him all that’s GONE! Really happy I started coming here!
