The coaches were just as amazing — each one of them made my son feel completely at ease. They encouraged him every step of the way and never let him feel left behind, even when he started struggling to keep up. This gym is phenomenal. Don’t let the one star reviews influence your decision in going. I used to go here for an entire summer before moving away and absolutely loved the instructors. The gym is super clean, well taken care of, and the instructors really take time to correct your form etc.

I can almost guarantee you’ll have a similar experience if you give it a shot.

I tried this place out got tricked into month to month billing. I was told I could cancel at any time. When I went to cancel, they had me jumping through hoops, saying I had to do a letter so then I sent a letter, but then it wasn’t certified. So I have to send another letter. After I sent the letter they continued to bill me month after month. Then to top it all off I was told that I couldn’t get a refund on MY money that was basically stolen from me. Don’t waste your time or energy going here. 0 stars.

I didn't feel welcomed the assistant manager was too arrogant and was trying to push me out the door for asking to many questions. And they charge you a huge crazy fee if you cancel the month to month contract. If you lose your job or God forbid someone passes away or you have to move to another state for better opportunity. They constantly keep charging you even though you have to get a certified letter. Save your money and your time go to another gym. It's not a gym for serious people.

I've been going here just over two years I Absolutely love this place. The coaching staff is great and the community has a family like energy. The gym has all the strength training equipment one could need plus a ton of amazing classes to chose from. Each one fun and challenging in it's own way. My favorite being the jiujitsu class. I would highly recommend training here!!

So I took the free class on Friday morning New Year's Eve I had an absolute blast My trainer was amazing The girls that were in the class with me were absolutely leaders from beginning to end they knew we were beginners and took leadership roles so that we could better understand the class. I got to learn new movements because I've never taken any type of boxing class before so that was super fun! I just want to say thank you again to this gym for my entire fitness experience

I walked into Elite muay thai 12 years ago with no real martial arts experience. I now have close to 50 fights and 3 title belts. I have fought in multiple different countries and have competed in muay thai, kick boxing, boxing and mma. It has always been a dream of mine to train in Authentic Mauy Thai. I’ve been to multiple gyms in different states and trained in “Mauy Thai” which was really just American Kickboxing. When I signed up at EMT I figured it was probably going to be the same but was still hopeful. Well, EMT is as authentic as it gets! From the techniques, gym atmosphere, cardio and even designed weight training it’s as good as it gets!
The trainers are outstanding! They take the time to explain why, how, when each technique is used. As you progress they will get you into more technical aspects of the sport! I feel like at my short time with EMT I’ve excelled way beyond what I learned at other gyms in double or triple the time! My 9yr old daughter has been training there with me and she absolutely loves working with Kru Caressa! She always asks me when she can go again!
I highly recommend EMT for anyone wanting to learn authentic Mauy Thai, train in cardio or if you have a vision of becoming a fighter!

I've been attending EMT for 5, going on 6, years, but I've been to other Muay Thai and fitness gyms around the state during my time living in Florida. I've never found another gym with the same commitment to traditional Muay Thai or trainers with the extensive knowledge at EMT. I have been trying to cancel my membership for months. Sent a cancellation request by certified mail and have a receipt it was signed for on August 12th. Guess what? Just got charged again!! Would give negative 5 starts if this would let me!

No one ever gave me the address to send the certified letter to until I sat in the parking lot of the S. Daytona facility and you gave me a copy of the contract. I signed that contract way over a year ago and did not have my copy. Your office manager did not speak to me "several" times and did not give me the instructions. I was only told I had to send a letter certified mail. I was never given the address to send it to until I found it on the copy you gave me personally in July. If from the very beginning of this process I was given the full instructions it would not have gotten to this point.

This place is literally my second home. When I first moved to Daytona about 2 years ago I fell off the bandwagon regarding my fitness. Being a division 1 athlete in college, I knew I had to get back into shape and start feeling good about myself again. I had registered for a free class and immediately got my behind kicked; it was a workout that I had never endured before...it felt amazing. From that day on I was hooked. The staff treated me like family whenever I entered the gym. They strive to push you to be the best version of yourself physically, emotionally, and mentally. Whenever I have a stressful day, I know I can come into any of the 3 locations and let loose and of course have fun while doing so. Trained here for around 7 months and Elite Muay Thai is the best gym to train no matter your fitness or fighting goals. It has the best facilities and one cannot hand pick better trainers. Even the fellow members will become to feel like family. I had to move out of state and unfortunately it wasn't possible to take the entire gym and everyone in it with me. Found a new gym but it can't compare to EMT.

Contract includes a clause that will charge you for canceling your membership. I cancelled before moving and informed the staff but they still sent it to a collection agency. Seriously guys? Ruining people’s credit over a measly sum of money because you never bothered to check your records or reach out to me. Be wary of the contract and know what you’re getting into. Good luck

The inability of your staff to keep records and call me if there was any issue is what led to this. It will remain in collection indefinitely and disputed as it was filed falsely and fraudulently.

I joined elite last April. I used to do yoga , had a personal trainer 3 days a week and ran about 10 miles a week. I gave it all up when I started working out here. You get all of that in one class. HITT, plyo, boxing , weight training etc. Very patient instructors that really take time to train their clients. NSB and South Daytona gyms are clean and well equipped. They have an Ormond gym but I’ve never been. The family that owns the place is impressive. Check it out. You won’t be sorry.
