Awesome facility! I switched to here from Crunch Brandon and I love how it’s 24/7 and fits my schedule. I especially like how affordable it is ($10 per month) and how clean the facility is. It does get a bit crowded but you wait max 10 minutes for a machine. I especially like the EOS Movie Cinema where you can go on stairmaster and treadmill while watching movies. Makes cardio a lot easier!

I’ve been going to this EOS now for a few months and I do think it’s a solid Gym. For the last 2 months I’ve been going early in the morning around 6 am after I run to go in the hot tub and sauna. For the last 2 months the sauna is never ever hot in the morning and I always have to call to have someone reset it. 50% of the reason I pay for gym membership is to use the sauna. It’s frustrating because I really look forward to the sauna in the morning and it’s just never hot anymore. When I called this morning no one even came to reset it this time. Also on Sunday I went to go into the hot tub and it was one of the most disgusting hot tubs I have ever seen. There was a pure layer of filth on top of the water. I think EOS needs to do a much better job of taking care of the other amenities. People aren’t there to just lift weights.

Update, this gym is pure garbage. Sauna literally never works, front desk staff are clueless. You pay for a service like the sauna but it never ever works. If you want to enjoy a 20 minute sauna session you have to set aside an hour and a half. First 10 minutes is calling the front desk and waiting for them to fix it, next 10-20 minutes is waiting for it to heat up, then if it actually even gets hot you can enjoy it for a bit. I emailed with Jordyn Towns the District Operations Manager about this and clearly nothing was done. I have been a member at crunch and LA Fitness in the past and never ever had this issues.

EOS Fitness has been an amazing gym experience from day one. The facility is always clean, the equipment is well-maintained, and there’s plenty of space to get a full workout in without feeling crowded. I recently moved to the Riverview area and joined this gym because they have a great selection of equipment—honestly much more than the gym in my apartment community, which is why I would still visit occasionally. It does get very busy on weekday evenings, so I typically go on my days off or weekend mornings.

Unfortunately, my experience with the sales manager, Catalina Alacon, was extremely disappointing. I pay for a membership that includes the ability to bring any guest. When I brought a friend, she denied them access due to a past-due balance on my friend’s account, which is currently in dispute. This balance has nothing to do with my paid membership or guest privileges, and there is no policy anywhere that specifies restrictions on who I can bring as a guest. When I asked her to show me such a policy, she couldn’t provide one.

Instead, she became visibly upset and disclosed personal account information about my friend while my friend was not present—something that felt very inappropriate and unprofessional. She also raised her voice, spoke over me, rolled her eyes, banged her hands on the table and even waved her hands in my face to the point where I had to remind her that this is a professional environment. Her explanation was simply that she “talks with her hands,” which isn’t an excuse for that type of behavior.

The interaction was so unprofessional and chaotic that it felt like dealing with a teenager rather than a manager. I chose to remain calm and simply canceled my membership.

I truly hope the gym considers retraining or replacing management in order to provide a more respectful and professional experience for members.

I am a previous EOS member at another location. I asked for a free pass to come in at 6:30 am to see how crowded it is. I was told since I was a previous member I don't qualify for a free pass. I asked if a team member could escort me at 6:30 am to see how crowded it is, especially the locker room to know if it will be too crowded to be able to get ready for work on time. I was told they don't have staff available at that time to do that. I asked since I am a former member if I could do a self-tour at 6:30 am to see how crowded it is to see if it will work with my schedule to able to get ready for work on time. I was told I would have to blindly sign up for a membership first and pay first because that is their policy. I appealed to the manager and asked for some hospitality to work with me to see if this EOS location would work for my schedule. I was told no and that this is their policy.

I had a very negative experience with this gym. They offered me a personal training session for $19 and had me sign an agreement “just to charge the session.” At no point did they verbally explain that the document also included a 6-month contract with $88 bi-weekly payments.

I only found out afterwards that I had been signed up for a plan that was never mentioned to me, which I consider a deceptive and abusive practice. You trust what the staff tells you, especially when they assure you that you’re only paying for a single trial session. They never showed or explained that I was agreeing to months of mandatory services.

A transparent business clearly explains all commitments before asking for a signature. That was not the case here, and I felt misled

I hope they improve their communication and stop hiding long-term contracts inside simple promotional offers. I do not recommend this place to anyone who values honesty and transparency.

Went to Riverview location and my wife had a guest pass and JC (conner) would not let her go in without paying for a membership. After which he didnt realize i was at the front counter and came up and started talking negatively about my wife cause he didnt see me there. I then chose to immediately cancel my membership after years with EOS. Would like a manager to reach out and refund my membership

Misleading contract, unauthorized charges, and unsafe “personal” trainers — avoid.

I purchased a 12-session personal training package (2 sessions/month at $150 per session). I never completed the stated 12 sessions due to inappropriate training and injury. I had asked to cancel my membership in person and was okay with losing the $1680. Thought that was the end of it. Nope. They kept my account going without my knowledge for months; $3300 worth of charges! EOS Fitness continued charging my card without my consent. Attempts to cancel and get a refund were met with the familiar run around “we’ll get to it” and poor follow-through from staff while they continue to charge my card.

During the program I was also pushed into unsafe movements by the trainers, inappropriate comments, and harassment which resulted in an injury that required me to seek care and miss work including the rest of my sessions. I was told by the manager “we can get you a new trainer” umm HELLO I AM INJURED. There was little to no attention to proper form or client safety — Even if EOS refunds the unauthorized payments, I expect this will probably go to court as everything I have documented is horror movie worthy fraud.

Documented my charges, dates/times I spoke with manager to cancel, and kept all inappropriate communications and gathering fellow friends in the same situation; as well as another woman who experienced the same thing a few days ago. If you’re considering going here: I hope you enjoy a prison like workout

I am writing this review after days of sitting on it, I am a 32 year old single mom who was sexually harassed by one of the associates consecutively at this location and I believe it's my right to tell my story. I will not be naming names but the associate did have quite a bit of weight on him, I was logging in when said associate made a very inappropriate suggestive comment on my thighs. I remember him smirking and saying, "Gonna work on them today" whilst satanically smirking and looking at my thighs, if you are a woman please DO NOT go to this location, multiple times I've had inappropriate interacts with this same individual and I think it's time for me to let EVERYONE know!! I’ve been going to EOS since they opened and I love all the various amenities especially the sauna and cinema room. I recently started working with Perry to hold me more accountable for leg day. He’s a great listener and can quickly find me alternatives due to an old injury that likes to flair up when I do certain movements. I’m very happy here and love that it’s next to target. Update on my review. I purchased two supplements that were recommended to me by my trainer. I was concerned that the product had too much caffeine and mentioned this to the Sellers. I told them I would return it if I was up all night, I ended up not being able to sleep and decided to return it. I attempted to return it three days after purchase and when i did they wouldn’t take it or give me a refund. One was unopened and the other was not. I understand not taking the opened one but the unopened should have been accepted. There are no signs stating no refunds on supplements and when I asked to exchange they refused. Florida Statutes § 501.142 (Retail Sales Establishments; notice of refund policy).
Under this law, unless a “no refund” policy is clearly displayed, a consumer may return unused, unopened merchandise (in its original carton) within 7 days of purchase and request a refund. I am already paying for training and membership and it upsets me that they have no regards or consumer protections when it comes to their sales. Beware.

The employees comment I mentioned in this review only made the employee upset with me and he saw me leaving the restroom and approached me with his fists up as i walked passed and started mocking. At this point legal action is being considered. - This gym is honestly disappointing. Alot of Homeless people living on the property at night, drug use in the parking lot, alot of litter and the staff isn't that great especially when I decided to cancel, the only thing they told me to keep me from canceling is "well we have more members than other gyms" like that really matters. Hopefully management steps up and does something about these issues.

This gym has been a great experience for me—always clean, with plenty of equipment, and a really motivating atmosphere. What’s made the biggest difference, though, is training with coach Perry. They take the time to focus on my goals, make sure I’m using proper form, and push me just enough to keep improving. Each session feels personalized, and their encouragement has kept me consistent and confident. I’d definitely recommend both the gym and Coach Perry to anyone serious about reaching their fitness goals.

WlI was locked into agreement even when I was told it was month to month as well as at higher rate an was told no other option. I only became aware as my buddy told me what he was paying which was the same as my previous location. The gym also has way too many members so you have to wait on equipment no matter what time you go. Im literally paying 2 memberships just so I can work out. I brought to management's attention but not only am I still paying the higher price, the whole 4 months I have been here, the smart TV for records an competition an rewards has never worked an although I have brought up to many staff , still nothing done. I know writing this review probably won't help as staff continues to bribe members for good reviews so they can counter the real ones. I am going to go there one last time to try an cancel this. Highly recommend no one sign up here. And just to be clear, I am not complaining about regular workers. I am firm believer that everything rises and falls on leadership. All problems point back to leaders not implementing solutions.

Over populated, place is nice and all but I can't hardly find a time to get a proper work out in, I spend more time walking around looking for something to do or space to do it in. Can get my cardio done walking from my car to the door and back. I'm always in someone's way and someones always in mine.
