It’s a good gym from the equipment to the recovery room and classes but to be uncomfortable by other gym members that are making demonic noises and doing the unthinkable in the gym is very uncomfortable and not safe. I’ve seen homeless people I’ve seen on the street some how end up in the gym and using the showers. This gym needs some type of security when checking in . Not a safe EŌS . And also why are grown men sleeping in the recovery room and not using the equipment. Just taking up members time who actually use the equipment

I’ve been coming to this EOS Fitness for a while now, and I just have to give a massive shoutout to Claude, the front desk worker (who should honestly be the manager, because she’s the real MVP). Every single time I walk in, she’s got the biggest smile, and she’s always ready to help with whatever I need. She does an amazing job keeping everything stocked, organized, and makes sure the vibe at the front desk is always welcoming. Seriously, she’s the reason this place feels like a second home!

That said, it’s hard to ignore some of the recurring issues here that need attention. As a member, it’s a little frustrating to see the same problems time and time again with the amenities. The massage chairs have been ripped up for what feels like forever, and the sauna really needs a deep clean—honestly, the smell is pretty overwhelming sometimes. Oh, and the lights in the locker room have been out for weeks! These are all things that can easily be fixed, but it feels like they’ve been ignored for a while now.

Also, almost every single piece of equipment has a broken phone holder. I don’t know if it’s just me, but it’s a little ridiculous that such basic things can’t be maintained. I mean, we pay for yearly maintenance, right? So, where’s that money going? This gym is packed every single day, so it seems like the revenue should be enough to keep everything in working order. Honestly, if Claude was in charge of maintenance, I’m pretty sure she’d get everything fixed in no time. The math just isn’t mathing right now.

Still, I keep coming back because of the great staff and atmosphere—just hoping management takes these concerns seriously!

I agree with the other people complaining that the management at this particular location does not listen to their customers.. A lot of people have complained about the people sleeping and the massage chair area. Also, people cooking and eating in the bathroom area..And now we're being punished.He puts a lock on the door you're not allowed to use the massage chair from twelve at midnight until five in the morning.. My friends were in town visiting and they paid 60 dollars total for day passes. I recently moved to Westshore and am here for a year for work. I am not going to change my license to Florida, but have an active lease. They told me they could not honor my free trial and was constantly trying to get talked into a membership despite me saying I wanted to try it. They then would not refund my friends. Will be telling all my friends and co workers to stay clear.

Extremely disappointed. At night it seems like this is a homeless shelter. I went into use the recovery room and there were several people in there sleeping in the chairs around 11:30pm. only one chair was actually being used, yet all the chairs were full. The employee actually had to kick one of them out of the chair so that I could use it and then one of the other people came over and about knocked into me as she walked past me, so I stepped back and apologized to her for being in the way, which she then turned around and just snapped at me probably because I was responsible for her fellow transient person getting kicked out of their chair/bed. The bathrooms were an absolute pigsty. One of the toilets was just covered in pee. I couldn’t even find some of the pre-weighted bars. People just leave them all over the gym. I’ve never had this experience at any other gym that I’ve been to.

After leaving this comment, I called into the gym to express my concern and spoke with Brandon, who actually started chewing me out for disrespecting his gym and saying it was disgusting and that he was not going to let me disrespect his gym!!!

This may be the WORST experience of my life in terms of finances and customer service. The way they ran me loops for MONTHS to cancel personal training that I was not happy with the quality of, as well as NEVER cancelling my actual membership as requested, dealing with payments that no one can handle in this economy. Literally embarrassed to even state how much money this gym took from me and how difficult they made it to cancel. Randomly found out they were still charging me today and I called and they finally easily let me cancel. After giving me the run around for over 6months. Please please do NOT sign up for their personal training unless you have $2000 to spare. It should be an EASY text or email to a MANAGER for refunds as well as CANCELLATIONS should be made asap. Not run around like a scam. Again, when I tell you I will NEVER get this money back which is the hardest part. Cancelling costs money as well because they charge you for the next 30days even if you JUST paid your current balance. The most depressing financial contract once you realize you don't like it or can't afford it anymore. If you talk to them or research online the consensus is they say "sorry, nothing we can do". I'm not sure how this company is ran but it's very clear it's far too vast to contain and deal with customer matters efficiently and with good customer service. Find a mom and pop gym.

I joined EOS Midtown Tampa after being told my plan would be $25/month. When I switched to a family plan to add my girlfriend, I was told the total would be under $50. No one ever mentioned a $200 membership or annual fee. A few weeks later, I was suddenly told I owed that amount, and the manager, Jeremy, said it couldn’t be waived and would go to collections if I canceled even if I canceled the membership (having only singed up 2 weeks ago!!!). The lack of transparency and accountability here is disappointing UPDATE: Emailed the GM and District manager still no response but they're calling me to charge me for a membership I do not want!!!!

Beware of unfair practices at this gym. I was pressured into a trainer membership I didn’t want. I cancelled within 24 hours (well within the 7-day window they promised), yet I’ve been charged five times in two months for fitness trainer membership.

The manager is never available, never calls back, and the front desk only says they’ll “leave a note.” Other staff say they can’t cancel or explain the charges.

This place makes it nearly impossible to cancel and keeps pulling money without permission. I’m reporting them to my bank for a refund and investigation.

Wish I could leave 0 stars. I signed up for a 7 day free trial - I am now getting charged over $100 for my two visits (my second visit I tried to fix this and get this canceled). They told me to call once the manager gets in and they would sort it out. The manager said since I signed up online that it was my fault and I would just have to pay that fee. This got escalated to their General Manager Nick who said he would handle it and if nothing else at least get back to me within 24 hours. Without a phone call in 24hrs I followed up with him. After being on hold for 10 min he told his team that he did not have time to speak with customers. I am now left with paying for 2 months and a membership activation fee ($25 + $91) for my "free trial" with no insight on how to proceed. For my one visit to their gym. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

Edit: I would like to also add the people at the front desk have been very nice and helpful on trying to get me synced up with the right management team. Unfortunately once you get to management that customer service goes out the window. Thank you for the couple of folks at the front desk who tried to help.

I would like to acknowledge the Character of Iaian Sterling at the 2525 Dale Mabry EOS. I go there at various times to work out.
Everytime I go to the Men's locker room or anywhere at the gym I noticed at different times him cleaning different areas as if he's contracted to do the work.

His level of Excellence in these days is practically never seen.

The front desk staff here are always very welcoming! However, the sales peeps can be pushy when it comes to memberships and convincing you that you need personal training classes. I understand that's their job, but they took it overboard with the pressure to sign.

The real saving grace was Jeremy! He went above and beyond assisting me out of the situation I had gotten into with the gym, and I am grateful for his customer support.

Overall, I would not recommend this gym if you easily succumb to sales tactics.

All of my issues with this location have consistently fallen upon deaf ears by clearly inept management. Concerns are always delegated to others then never followed up on. There are "members" who simply use the gym as a low cost flop house. You can pull up any day of the week and see homeless peoples bikes along with their child carrier attachment parked outside on the bike rack with all of their belongings. They use the locker rooms as long term secure storage for their perishables like food and detergents. THEY PREPARE FOOD ON HOT PLATES IN THE MENS LOCKER ROOM! It should NOT be used at a kitchen. They do their laundry in the sink! This is why they need to cut the locks on the lockers every 48 hours. Disgusting roach infested men's locker rooms. A portion of the members are literally living out of the gym. They sleep in the massage chairs! (which half of are constantly inoperable) There are disruptive and aggressive members. Theres's countless gym bags on the floor at all times, members wearing open toe flip flops, there is zero rule enforcement at this property.

I was in town for a work trip and needed a place to workouts. This gym was super close so really convenient. It's clean and has everything you could need. Moe was helpful and kind getting me checked in. This is a solid gym and I'd recommend it to anyone in the area.

Such a great gym. Coach Natalie is the best. She really takes your goals into account and is very motivating. She is super positive and encouraging and breaks things done for you no matter your level. As a beginner, she has been so helpful in explaining everything and giving her advice. I look forward to many more personal training sessions with her and hitting all of my goals!

Management here must be nonexistent! Never have I seen so many employees just standing around while the place is so unorganized, in need of upkeep maintenance and cleaning! It has recently only gotten worse and worse! Weights are nowhere to be found attachments nowhere to be found gym equipment barely working yet thousands of people paying their monthly dues and loads of employees just standing around and on their phones! The lack of care is absolutely astonishing!

Had really bad experience with this gym, starting from making me two accounts and told me that the first one was deleted them got told they charge anual fee at the end of the year… first month on this gym got charged 93$ twice for anual fee… almost another month to get a refund had to show up 4 times etc.. make sure they write the contract right to avoid something like this…

At first I really liked this gym but over time, it’s become even more crowded and the cleanliness of the facility has declined drastically in the last few months. You’re fighting a crowd any time of the day, any fay of the week, parking is a nightmare and the extra amenities you pay more for aren’t monitored to ensure limited use (as intended, which is why you pay more). It is a good gym but needs improvement with the growing crowds.

This place is going downhill fast...In the past few weeks at least 4 different nights nobody was working or could be found in the building (Not safe)...The homeless people using the couch in the front to sleep on and or charge phones...my breaking point was this morning seeing a man use his bare feet on attachments for the cable machine like the straight bar and handles and when notifying the EOS worker they stated "Oh he is a nice guy and will clean it" The man did not clean the attachments and was left. This used to be a nice a premier place...now just disgusting and going downhill.
