I would've rated it 5 🌟 but we found it to be a little too pricy. $80 a month for 2 people. If this economy was better we would've joined. We went with a gym that had only 2 less amenities but only $25 a month for 2 people. If you'll match that price we'd be happy to join.

I went to 2 other gyms before discovering this gym and must I say, Epic was definitely the best choice out of those ones. They have everything that you will need in one singular gym, maybe even more that I don’t even know yet. They have rooms for boxing, recovering, massages, powerlifting, etc. They even have a smoothie bar if you’re low on some particular substances (not the bad ones). Not only do they have all material things you will need, but the people and staff and very helpful. All of the staff is attentive and very caring, if you ever need a question answered, there will always be someone to assist. Overall this gym is great and I am glad I am here.

I go to this gym location during the week. The entire staff is so kind and supportive. I am a bigger woman that has been on a fitness journey since 2024, so going to the gym has always been super intimidating and anxiety inducing for me. This gym makes me feel so welcome AND motivated. HOWEVER, my absolute favorite thing about this gym is the Zumba/Step class on Thursday evenings at 6pm with Hayat! She keeps me coming back every week I possibly can. The community she builds within her zumba class is unlike any I have experienced before. I have felt welcome and safe in her class every single time I have gone. She is a ball of energy and the support she gives to every single person is immeasurable. I could go to any gym for machines, but I would never be able to find another Hayat. She keeps me at Epic, so if she ever leaves, I will go with her! Dont let her go ever!

Had the privilege of getting a tour of the epic gym in New Port Richey with the owner. Super huge improvement compared to the gym that was there.

All the equipment are brand new and organized in a logical manner where chest machines are all together leg machines all together, etc.

The gym even has a pool that is being redone and the place is huge which equates to tons of machine choices.

Their philosophy on serious training and helping you reach your goals Is spot on compared to other gyms.

If you’re serious about getting in the best shape of your life, this is the gym to go to bar None.

My experience with this gym has been fantastic. As a new mother, I am very weary of who watches my child and the child care here is TOP NOTCH. I’m able to relax, focus on myself and get that much needed “me time” knowing my daughter is in the best of hands. This Epic location---on Ridge Road maybe 100 yards west of Regency Park Road in Port Richey, was once Family Fitness, owned by Ryan Pergola. I enrolled there in 2021, but then it was shut down sometime in 2022. It's now under the management of Keith, a true bodybuilder, and his amazing staff. Jill at the front desk is wonderful, as is everyone else. Equipment wise, this place has everything EoS has, and more. There are at least three pieces of equipment that I have literally never before seen in a gym in 40 years, one of which is a Standing Chest Press. For any number of reasons, including equipment machines, this place makes Planet Fitness look like a joke. And if you're tired of the EoS hassle of hard to find parking, fighting traffic on the Little Road Racetrack and the congestion of Route 52, Epic is your place to go. CLEAN SHOWERS & RESTROOMS, COOL INTERIOR, PARKING JUST STEPS FROM THE FRONT DOOR, FRIENDLY MEMBERS, DRY SAUNA and with a Smoothies Station. I could walk to this place if I had to. There's just no point in going all the way up to EoS anymore. Epic Ridge is all I need. Grade: A+. Come and check it out!

Let me start by saying I have been going to Epic Health and Fitness in Port Richey for about half a year
I have been on and off from my training because of my cancer treatments, but from the very first day I walked into the gym, I felt home. Keith and Karol, the owners of the gym, made me feel so welcomed. And I like everyone else was like wow the red carpet, the first day, but like other gyms, just become a number after that first day, not here
And as the time there went on, I watched how they helped and supported everyone and remembered names and situations going on in all these people's lives truly engaged.
We had shared experiences and issues of health and life etc…
They made me realize that my now years of fighting with cancer were a tough and commendable thing, which I didn't get but learned to, and it made me stronger.
I recently went down for the count you see. I am legally blind and only have 1 eye to start with. My good eye has glaucoma from all the chemo and radiation they say. Well, recently, I had to have emergency surgery on my good eye, and it rendered me blind and without knowing if I would ever see again and I was going to a dark emotional place . These truly amazing and blessed people, Keith and Karol, who I only knew for a short while
Heard what had happened and, without hesitation, contacted me, checked in on me, helped, and supported drove me to appointments
I mean 2 gym owners with so much love for humanity and people true children of God
To go above and beyond like that. I am forever grateful. I am getting better each day, and they don't miss an opportunity to contact me and check on me. I wanted people to know my experience here at the EPIC Health and Fitness and not to do some kinda commercial to boost members
But to let you know, this isn't just a gym, and Keith and Karol are not just owners
These are true people of God, family, friends, and support of all your goals in this place that you should also enjoy calling home

I travel often for work and always look for a good gym to train at in whatever city I’m in. This is by far the best gym I’ve trained at while traveling. 🚨 BEWARE ALL WHO ENTER HERE: UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS PRACTICES, FALSE ACCUSATIONS, WRONGFUL TERMINATION! 🚨

This is an update to my previous 5-star review under the former ownership before the gym changed hands in December.

I had been a loyal member since June 2024 and was wrongfully banned in February 2025, which I will now explain in full. I welcome the owner to respond—something they have yet to do regarding this issue.

I joined in June 2024 and paid the required annual fee in August, as stated in the contract. After Keith, the new owner, took over in December, my membership was unknowingly canceled by someone, and I had to rejoin from scratch. I personally confirmed with Keith that I would not be charged another annual fee due to this billing mishap, but in February 2025, I was charged the annual fee again—contradicting what Keith had told me. When I questioned this charge, I was told the previous owner had canceled my membership. However, when I spoke with the previous owner over the phone, he confirmed this was NOT the case. This directly contradicts what both Keith and Brady told me when I re-signed.

Keith admitted the mistake and refunded me in cash, stating their system wouldn’t allow a reversal. This was done against the guidance of his General Manager, Brady, who was lecturing him on the phone not to assist me. To be clear, I brought all of my bank statements PROVING I was wrongfully charged.

ONE DAY LATER, Brady permanently banned me, falsely claiming I had “used deceptive tactics to harm a small business” and that I had scammed the gym—even though Keith himself admitted the billing error and refunded me. Brady also claimed he had emailed me about this decision, but I never received any prior notice. He made a series of false claims, stating I had received free months, had missed payments, and more accusations that I can completely disprove with my bank records.

After sending multiple emails to Keith regarding Brady's actions, I have only received a “I got your email!” response, with no accountability for this incredibly unprofessional treatment of a paying member. Even the previous owner has agreed that Brady made a huge mistake, yet Keith has done nothing to rectify the situation—other than offering my membership back.

I will not be returning. If this is how these new owners choose to treat loyal members, I cannot trust this business.

⚠️ This gym has mismanaged billing, no accountability, and retaliates against members who dispute wrongful charges. Avoid at all costs.

We are traveling to Naples from Massachusetts and stayed with friends in New Port Richey for a few days. It was difficult to find a gym because there were so many and the reviews weren’t encouraging. Somehow I came upon Epic and I honestly wish it was near me in MA! The staff was amazing from the moment I got there until I left. All of the equipment is clean, and even though I went during a really quiet time, there was plenty of everything so I know that wouldn’t be an issue even when it’s busier. It’s also huge and spread out. The smoothie from the smoothie bar was perfect. Can’t say enough about this gym! If I lived in the area it’s def where I would be going!

I’ve been to a lot of gyms, whether by day passes or by memberships, and I have to say that this gym is one of, if not the best gym that I’ve belonged to. I personally signed up about 2 to 3 weeks after they originally opened, and I have yet to find any disappointments with this gym. The staff are always so personable, respectful and always make you feel welcome. They take their time to get to know their members and always greet you when you walk in the door. They’re all very personable and take an interest in you, your goals, your interests, etc. Plus, not only do they have a kids club, but the staff running the kids club are seriously AMAZING! My daughter loves going there so much that she gets excited every time I tell her we’re going to the gym. The kids club staff is so proactive with all the kids. They plan pajama nights, they did a little last day of school and back to school mini party, they hang up drawings the kids have made, and will plan fun activities for the kids. I love the gym itself, but the kids club is probably my favorite part, just due to how much my daughter loves it and how she genuinely enjoys the staff and spending time in there while I train. The facility itself is top notch. Environment is everything in a gym for me, and the environment in Epic Port Richey is so motivating and encouraging. There’s equipment for every muscle group, and never have I ever had to wait on machines. Even when somebody might be using something you want to use as well, members are always really good with offering you to work in on whatever machine it is that you’re wanting to use. That’s the type of environment Epic has created. It’s always very clean and there’s never times where machines are ever out of order. For the women, Epic and its staff really prioritizes your safety and comfortability with a zero tolerance policy for any uncomfortable comments or behaviors. Which makes it a great atmosphere to accomplish your fitness goals without any unwanted attention.. My number one aspect of the gym that I want to recognize will be the owners, Josh and Haley. They are two of the most down to earth, understanding, welcoming and just overall genuinely great people. They really care about the members of their gym and it’s truly important to them that their facility is meeting the needs and goals of all members. Epic isn’t just a money machine for them, it’s a true passion and it shows through the condition of the gym, through the staff, and with how often they are personally in the gym, talking/interacting face to face with members. I couldn’t ask to belong to a better gym.

Love this gym!!! Has tons of room, state of the art equipment and it’s never over crowded like those big box gyms. I can actually get a quality workout in here and the staff actually cares about the results I get unlike those corporate owned box gyms where I’m just another $10 Bucs a month! If you want to try a different members only experience give Epic a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Just like the slogan says “no wait, just weights”. I’ve never had to wait for a piece of equipment no matter the time morning or evening. Extremely clean place and the staff are amazing people who greet you as soon as you enter and also get to know you on a personal level. I’ve been training for over 15 years and been to many gyms, this by far is the best place I’ve trained. Do yourself a favor and check out Epic Fitness in Port Richey!

Started going here because I was a member of the Crystal River location. This gym is great! 0 complaints, I’ve never had to wait on a machine, they have pretty much any machine you could need. It’s never overly busy like some gyms around here (EOS). I highly recommend at least trying this gym out.

Best place to workout in Port Richey! The certified trainers they have are very knowledgeable and patient. They really care about you hitting your goals and are super patient and understanding when something comes up during our scheduled session. The child care is a great complement as well. Other gyms I went to were super crowded and the trainers were so distracted all the time. Thank you staff for making this a good place to workout at!

The counter people were amazing! They offered me a free day pass and showed me around and I fell in love with the gym! After my workout, I went over the smoothie bar and that peanut butter protein smoothie was at another level. Clean bathrooms and it is not over populated. I’m definitely signing up 👍🏽
