Before I trained with him, my strength was diminished and I had gained weight-- thank you menopause! Coach Rich taught me good habits for eating (getting enough protein is key) and how to work out to regain strength. I lost 15 pounds, feel great and have learned a new lifestyle of healthy eating that I don't hate. The food is tasty and the workouts can be done in 30 minutes--which is awesome, because we are all busy, right?

Coach Rich has done what no other coach has done for me in the past 20+ years of training. In the game this long I knew my diet was important but he really lasered in an exact count for me to follow and it was nothing short of magic. Suddenly I was being perfectly fueled for my workouts. The workouts also target exactly what I asked for and SHOWED. I have V'd abs and my BF% dropped to where I look great! My body is better than it was at 20 and getting better, and I am almost fifty. I cannot say how impressed I am working with Coach. I am single and dating and have been happily told my physique is not only appreciated by me 😅. Not great to say but I never would have thought to be receiving those compliments, nevermind this often.

I had the pleasure of working with Rich for about 4 months. Every session was great. I like that he didn’t try to reinvent the wheel, rather, he made small tweaks and adjustments to really isolate the muscle groups which made a huge impact. Every workout was memorable to the point where you’d feel it the next day which is exactly what I wanted. Conversations and side banter were always great as well. Definitely a guy I would hang out with personally! It’s evident he makes this his life work and cares deeply about results. I would highly recommend giving him a call, no matter where you’re at with regard to health or exercise. 10/10!

This was the worst experience I received in my life with a PT. I trained with Coach Rich at Platinum Gym. It was a referral from my brother. I was suffering from a torn meniscus. I consultation with Coach if he could train me to get it better and he told me yes. I signed up for 3 months. Everything was going ok as far my weight in which I lost 7 pounds the first 2 months, but my knee was not getting better. I consulted with a 2nd orthopedic doctor and he said I needed surgery to fix the issue. I informed Coach Rich about the surgery in January. I could not finish the 4 sessions in which I paid for upfront. He told me, when I get better I could use the 4 sessions. One day in January, I received call from Coach Rich stating he had an altercation with Platinum Gym Owner and is no longer there. He said he would still honor my sessions when I got better. I reached out to Coach periodically once I was feeling better June, August and October about the sessions and he said he would look at his schedule because he is busy. I said I already paid for them. He said he would work me in. Now today, I received a call from Coach Rich informing me, he will NOT be honoring my sessions because he is did not get paid from Platinum Gym. I don't know if it is truth or a lie. BUT I have my credit card statements of the payments I made. Him not getting paid has nothing to do with me because I paid my $300 that month. NOW I'm out of my money. Platinum Gym is permanently closed and there is no justice for me. I understand that everyone has their experiences. This one is mine. I wanted everyone to know. BE AWARE! I could have been a return client. I guess my money didn't matter! BE AWARE!
After reading Coach Rich's response to my review. It is disheartening for him to place blame on me for him not being transparent in the beginning after I paid my money in January. Unfortunately, it shows his character and professionalism. It is unexpected to blame me and not take accountability of the things said to me initially in January, June, August and October. I have phone records and witnesses to him speaking with me on the phone January, June, August and October. He had plenty of time to inform me that he was not going to honor my sessions. Since, I was calling and texting him back to back now. He finally decided to tell me on Nov 8 he was not honoring my sessions.
I appreciate Google Reviews. People can discern on what they think is truth or lie and make a decision. Coach Rich is a good trainer. I will not discredit that. But the professionalism is not there and he could have handled the situation with me better. If he had told me in the January that he was not going to honor my sessions I could have went to Platinum Gym before they permanently closed to seek my money back.
Me voicing my experience is to warn people of unexpected situations and get things in writing even when you are in the right! People BEWARE! BEWARE!

I’ve lost 60 lbs in 4 months with help from Coach Rich!
I went to Coach Rich in a sad physical and mental state. I was seriously overweight, and it was affecting my whole life in all kinds of negative ways.
After a fitness evaluation, Rich helped me select a list of recipes that were not only healthy, but tailored to my own tastes. I’d tried all the fad diet stuff in the past. None of these are sustainable. The foods Rich recommended to me were all great, and satisfying. Finally diet advice I can actually stick to!
He also manages to work me out hard enough that I am gaining strength and firming up, without injuring myself. The workouts are setup to get maximum results in minimum time. This is great for my busy schedule.
My overall goal is to lose yet another 100lbs. This kind of challenge used to seem almost impossible. What I’ve learned from Coach Rich is that, with the right balance, a sustainable plan exists. It’s not easy, but it’s worth the work.

I've known Rich as a person/personal trainer for 18 years since he trained at Lifestyle Family Fitness. I have seen what he has done with clients as I was with another trainer. After learning how to train 18 years ago. I continue my journey. As I have gotten older, I have had challenges with my hormones interfering with my health. After years of trying to do the fitness thing on my own, and failing miserably, I made the decision to hire Coach Rich to help me achieve my fitness and health goals. In our first meeting, he told me that 90% (maybe 80%?) of my results would come from nutrition. He evaluated my fitness level and we talked about goals. He then put an exercise and nutrition plan together for me to follow, which I have. He slowly introduces new exercises as well as makes adjustments to my nutrition plan as my weight declines. The results have been astounding! I've been making steady progress towards my goal of being at a healthy weight with good cardiovascular fitness. I've had to put in the work, of course, but Coach Rich created a plan that has been very effective and is sustainable. He told me at the beginning that his goal for my workouts was for me to be in and out of the gym in about an hour, to include cardio, and I have found that to be the case.
