These boys are so incredibly lucky to have such an amazing mens gymnastics program! My son has been so inspired since coming home. We were in Florida for Easterns and were lucky enough to be able to do a couple drop in practices at EVO. This facility is beautiful! I can't even express how nice it is to see such a boys focused program!! What a breath of fresh air! It was amazing to see so many boys in the gym at one time! The boys took my son under their wings and were amazing. He was able to work on skills that he has been struggling on and was pumped to finally nail some of them. 2025 update - our gymnast has been to 5 EVO camps - during the season and also summer elite camp. Consistently, he has loved the coaching and support he gets, the beautiful facility, and the opportunity to rub shoulders with legendary athletes. As a parent, I love hearing the coaches instruct the boys on nutrition, positive self-talk, refining the basics to make faster progress, trusting your coaches and the process. Our summer team elite camp experience has been nothing short of incredible. The coaches and athletes are so generous with their time and feedback. As a parent, I couldn’t be more impressed with EVO Gymnastics. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this camp is run with excellence and care. The facility is top-notch – clean, well organized, and equipped with everything a young gymnast needs to train safely and confidently.

What truly sets EVO apart is the exceptional coaching staff. The coaches are not only highly skilled, but also incredibly supportive and encouraging. They know how to challenge kids while keeping the experience fun and positive.

Communication with parents was also a highlight. I always felt informed and involved, with regular updates and a welcoming atmosphere. Plus, the location and ease of travel made the whole experience, smooth and stress-free.

We visited EVO Gymnastics for a camp and had a great experience! My son had the chance to meet 5 Olympians (one who coaches there), which was such an inspiring and unforgettable opportunity for him. He learned a lot over the course of the camp, not just skills, but also from the encouragement and hands-on coaching.

The facility itself is really nice…clean, well-maintained, and spacious. One thing I appreciated as a parent was the great viewing area. You can actually watch without be feeling crammed in a corner. Parking is decent too, which is always a bonus at places like this.

Overall, EVO offers a high-quality experience for both gymnasts and families. We were impressed at how much focus is on the boys, something you don’t find in every gymnastics gym.

I can't say enough great things about our experience at EVO. Both my daughter and son are part of their competitive gymnastics program. The coaches are truly best-in-class and they truly care about each child's individual development. The gym coaching culture is positive and uplifting which you don't always find in gymnastics programs.

Both of my kiddos attended the Elite Training Camp this year and had an amazing time. From upskilling, to opportunities to be trained by Olympians and legendary coaches, meet and greets, and also time for fun. My two kiddos thoroughly enjoyed their time at the Evo Elite Men’s and Women’s camp. Our son recently attended the elite gymnastics camp at this incredible gym, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, everything was executed at the highest level—immaculate cleanliness, seamless organization, and a gym layout that supports both high-level training and safety.

The coaching was absolutely exquisite. The boys had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train under some of the most renowned coaches in the sport—Kevin Mazeika, Syque Caesar, and Olympian Samuel Mikulak. The breadth and depth of knowledge these coaches brought was awe-inspiring. Each session was packed with focused technique work, personal attention, and insights you simply can’t get anywhere else. It was an incredible privilege for the boys to learn from such a wealth of experience.

The Men’s Gymnastics’s camp at EVO was outstanding! Our son received incredible coaching cues that helped him overcome his fears, specifically on high bar. When he got back to his home gym, he immediately was able to catch a release move (Tkachev) for the first time! He made great friends and the entire coaching staff was phenomenal. The equipment at Evo is world class! It was super cool that they got to meet a few of the 2024 Men’s gymnastics Olympic team too! We will definitely be there again next year! Our first experience at the men’s elite summer camp was nothing short of amazing! It was our son's first time at both the camp and in Florida, and he had an unforgettable time! My son attended Evo's 2nd Annual Men's High Performance Camp and it was amazing! The facility is top notch, the coaching is out of this world and the experience my son had was life changing. My kid was apart of the "woman's team" right before the season they fired the coaches and left over 40 girls with two coaches. They are very male program driven so don't waste your time on the girls gymnast program. They are not responsive or problem solvers just take your money and say that is how it is. After giving them money for team uniforms we still had to buy our own capris, backpacks even after they had the money for it. We were an embarrassment last year in tank Leo's, no fead back after meets, coaches didn't stay for awards, etc. Evo does not push team into these kids, if you want that team atmosphere go elsewhere. Only 10 girls stayed when the head coach left so now they have no team for woman, no coach and the pictures the use for marketing where taken by a mom not them and was never given consent to be used for social media marketing .

Great staff and lots of nice equipment. I run most of the Preschool and Parent Tot classes, along with Young Beginners, Level 1, Tumbling and Open Gym. I have the best job in the world and I love working with all my kiddos! I love to be creative and coming up with new ways to achieve a nice balance of learning and fun for every class. It's amazing to be able to watch the progress my kiddos are making as they grow and become stronger, and more focused each week. I warn you now, Do not let your daughters or sons participate in any program at Evo. They don’t care about their athletes. They offer sub par training. My daughter has been in gymnastics for 15 years. The last 3 at Evo have been the worst experience ever. We had a coach that stole all the money from a fundraiser that the girls did. No action was taken against him. And nothing was done a about getting the money back. Then they signed us up for meets that weren’t even in our region/division. Mons kept pointing it out to leadership, but they wouldn’t listen. So 2 seniors couldn’t attend their last state competition because they never attended a state qualifier in their region. This was all on Evo. This year my daughter was the Senior. We just attended our state competition where my daughter was not recognized as a graduating senior. We waited for her name to be announced, and nothing. I stood up in the crowd and approached the announcer who was the head of FL State AAU program. She said she had nothing on her. Turns out Evo never turned in any paperwork in order to recognize her. The speaker has a script on every other senior - How long they have been in gymnastics, accolades, accomplishments, college and future endeavors. So out of respect, she called my daughter up to recognize her and did more so an interview. Although she tried her best, she knew nothing of my daughter and it wasn’t the best interview.. after 15 years of gymnastics, My daughter left her final competition crying, angry, upset. We didn’t even stay to get the medals she earned. There are so many other stories I could share, like the 10 gymnasts who quit the team 3 days before our first meet, not having matching Leos at our first meet, no warm ups till the 3rd meet and they look like athletic wear from Walmart. Gym name (Evo) wasn’t even on the warm up. Most of us believe they were bought from Walmart or Target. Trust me when in say, Evo is not where you want your child. We would’ve left but my daughter is older, at the highest level she could compete, and she just wanted to finish the year out. Don’t go to Evo! You’ll be sorry you did.

I’ve been training here as an elite athlete since December and I can’t say enough good things about Evo. I have access to all the equipment I need to prepare for international competitions as well as access to recovery devices such as sauna, ice tub, red light therapy, etc. It is the ideal spot for my training leading up to the Olympics next year. They also offer mommy and me classes, pre-school classes, recreational programs, and up to competitive high school level training programs. Best place in SRQ/Bradenton for any of your gymnastics related interests!

This facility is filthy. The bathrooms are disgustingly dirty. Food is ground into the floor in the viewing area. Open/empty food and drinks are everywhere. Please consider the health and safety of your athletes and visitors and hire a cleaning company.

In the last six months, this poor gym has been overtaken by corporate company. It's terrible. It's all corporate and they do not care for the well being of these girls training nor the coaches who work so hard for them. I do not recommend this gym any longer as I have in the past for my daughter. Sadly many are leaving or being fired. They are now only about the money and turning this place into a men's only elite gym. Which is fine if they just announced this honestly instead of putting the girls and coaches thru so much over the last couple months. Katya is not a nice person, she is very condescending and not truthful towards parents. We get no proper introduction from anyone anymore. It's sickening.

As a parent coach and former club owner, I would like to share my experience with you before you make an educated decision on this program. My daughter, a level 8 optional team member, was notified by email in the middle of the night that EVO had decided without any warning to terminate the girl's level 6 thru 9 competitive season. This decision came just after the organization drafted assessment fees, uniform fee, and tuition. In all I was out over $1,200.00 dollars. After several calls and a video conference, it has been over 3 weeks and I have yet to receive a refund. The gym did experience some major events which caused them to ubruptly come to the conclusion to end the program all of which were out of the control of the athletes, the parents, or remaining coaching staff. Since the gym ended the season for the girls, many parents have requested refunds as would be expected. Some have receiver compensation and others have not. I intend to file a claim in small claims court for my losses and hope you avoid the same fate as we experience. The best of luck with your athlete and I would not recommend this gym to any female athlete. Since the USAG National men's program merged the girl's have lost many training tools they once had.

Leaving a 1 star is being generous with this review for Evo Athletics. The volleyball coaching was by far the worst I have ever witnessed. The coach constantly yelled and screamed at these young girls and to the refs to the point the coach was usually flagged by the refs at every tournament. Parents from opposing teams commented on his lack of self control. Family members walked away because they could not watch his behavior. Telling these young girls that “I yell and scream at you because I love you” is unprofessional, out of line, and setting these girls up to believing that verbal abuse is ok as long as they are “loved”.

Miss Lydia, the H.P.I.C. (the Head Person In Charge), is a meticulous, gracious, energetic, and wonderfully hospitable overseer of a well-run, safe gymnasium offering a wide range of activities with competent supervision by a staff committed to serving the needs of all the participants. The gymnastics coaches at EVO have treated my kid with more decency in one week, than a competing gym in LWR did in 2 years. When your child spends many hours a week training somewhere, you want them around repectable people who will guide them to be better in many aspects of life. Not just doing handstands and bar routines. I can't emphasize enough that positive coaches can produce positive results, along with lifelong lessons. And it appears that's what we have found here.

Due to Vary harsh critisism my 2 dughters quit this gym. We paid in advance for an upcoming event and they would not refund the money spent on warm up suites, leos and other items resulting in $1100 loss. In the higher levels the coach my daugters had was very harsh and created a hard enviroment to excell. One daughter went on train in for the junior Olympics at much more instructional attentive gym. Would suggest North Port Gymnastics or 1 of the other gyms available.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND THE FRUSTRATION!
If you enjoy being lied to and constantly fed stories about what they are planning on doing with their gym then this is the establishment for you. They are good at pretending to have it together. They talk a good game and say they are going to do things and then don’t follow through with them! ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THEN WORDS.

Their outside volleyball courts are currently shut down from the fire marshal. They’ve waited until the last minute to notify parents of where their children are supposed to practice. By last minute I mean a few hours before practice is supposed to start! Sending emails is a waste of time as people are not responding or if they do respond it’s just a bunch of excuses and empty promises they aren’t going to keep! Instead of communicating directly with parents they just post updates to their Facebook page..... NOT ALL PEOPLE ARE ON SOCIAL MEDIA!

This place was awful. My children "won" tickets for a night there from their elementary school.

Come to find out, if you aren't in their "group," or "click" you get treated like azz. My kid was knocked around by bigger kids and hardly any supervision (I'm a male, but other mothers were out there, as well as 18 year old men), I was told over and over not to watch out for my youngest, because parents can't be beyond a certain point.

So, I let my oldest continue to play, and went to the preschool room, which was open, with kids inside...only to be kicked out of there as well. It's the SAME reason a latino mother was in that same room with us. They didn't want is there. The mangry lady that runs desk kicked us out well before closing time, wondering why we were aloud to be in the room in the first place...

It was my first experience here, as well as my last. I'd much rather go to jumpnfun, where they don't make you feel unwanted or like some sort of criminal.

The owners have zero experience at running a gym. They are all about competition and not the place to go if you want professional, passionate, experienced coaches who actually care about your child. Mostly a cheer gym.
