Participants spend time to arrange the equipment for the class. You need to re do your schedule. A schedule like this shortens one class.

I’m a part-time resident and I used to enjoy going to this gym back in the day when other owners cared. These owners do not fix anything and if they do, it takes several months, the restrooms are never clean. I never see anyone cleaning. The machines are broke all the time every time

Take a lot of sanitizer and maybe a priest because you're gonna need a whole clensing after walking out of that dirty gym.

$30 a month and there are inches of dust on each machine. The vents are covered as well.

I do love the dried sweat stains on cardio equipment.

Nothing matches in the gym.You can tell that they took equipment from their other locations that they closed down and stuck it into this facility.

Most of the pads on your equipment are busted ripped. Equipment is broken. Everywhere you look is dirty.

Terrible experience, I hadn't gone to the gym in like a year, I finally decided to go, and I have the membership that allows you to enter with someone else. One day I went to the gym and took my mom, which there were never any problems with, I repeat, I have the membership that allows you to bring someone else. When we arrived, the girl had a very bad attitude and she told us that this was no longer allowed, my mom and I looked at each other without knowing what was happening, and the lady told us again with a bad attitude that the benefit of bringing another person no longer existed and that she could not let my mom in, in the end she told us that she would make an exception and would only let her in for that day, and by the way, she told us that our credit card was expired. I had been going for almost a week and she never told me anything, that the card was expired or anything, the girl had a very bad attitude and made us feel really bad, since I signed up for the gym I paid 35.25 for the benefit of having another person enter, now it turns out that they are taking away that benefit, they continue charging me 35.25 for a single person, and also if you want to bring someone else you have to pay 25 dollars. The truth is it's not worth it, that's a robbery.

Its not Golds Gym, its not Planet Fitness. Its a small mom n pop owned type gym. Roof still leaks at times but lots of equipment and its usually well maintained. Machines break, thats the same at every gym but honestly the owners care and its solid for the pricepoint. If you want a place to come in, get your grind on, then bounce, I'd recommend.

Start with the parking lot, it will destroy your car if you're not very careful. Go inside to multiple roof leaks and trash cans and buckets cluttering the floor catching the dripping water. I even had the roof leaking on me while working out. After 3 months none of the roof leaks have been fixed. The equipment looks like it is never cleaned. There has been a red dust like stuff on a bench in the men's bathroom for the last 4 weeks, means it never cleaned. Most of the TVs don't work, even half the Neon sign is broke so they don't turn it on anymore. I will say the staff is very nice. I'm going to cancel my membership I am seriously afraid I will get sick going here. It looks like this place is in decline and the owner does not care about the place at all.

They keep closing locations causing a further drive. The New Port Richey location is kind of run down, equipment not kept up that well. Bathroom is nasty, parking lot looks like a bomb testing site. The owners do not care about people who actually train seriously. It went from a well known Golds Gym to now a nursing home . They cater to 70 year olds because they get paid from the silver sneakers programs. They lack good equipment like Crunch or LA FITNESS. The membership prices are absolutely ridiculous. We came from Texas about 10 months ago. We checked out a lot of the gyms in the area before choosing FFC. The daycare is what got us to join, plus all the equipment! The daycare is amazing! My kiddos love Amanda! She’s always smiling and playing with the kids. She needs to a raise haha. Love this gym! The community vibe is great. :)

The gym is decent, lots of space and always equipment available and the body balance instructor is by far the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been taking this class at different gyms for years.
Unfortunately had to cancel my membership today because the childcare is atrocious.
My kids have a couple of special needs but attend a regular daycare and public school with little to no issues. But every single time we come here they 1. Don’t want to go because the workers are mean and 2. Always seem to get in trouble and spend majority of their time in time out.
When I picked them up the worker informed me they weren’t listening and I said okay and asked me to talk to them, which I do before and after. I asked them to apologize for not listening and being disrespectful and the worker wouldn’t even look at my 5 year old and just said “okay”.
I asked the worker if she could just forgive her and she said “no, would you want someone treating your stuff like that?”
I reiterated that she is in fact a child, who is learning how to navigate the world and we are trying to rectify the situation and she just doubled down on how she wouldn’t forgive her.

I’m not sure why you would hire childcare workers who have absolutely zero experience or training with kids.

I wouldn’t recommend anybody with kids to use this gym, which is unfortunate because that’s a huge selling point.

I've been a member for almost a year. I was going to the gym on Ridge road. Which was convenient for me being I worked right down the road and I would hit the gym after work on my way home. I joined as part of the Silver and Fit program. Glad I didn't pay any money to join this place. After filing out paperwork I had to stand at the counter while the women had to field calls for the club that closed and left members high and dry. I was interested in using the pool I was told it would be open next week, it wasn't. I was never given a membership card, they didn't have any to give out. I was told to use my cell phone and download the app. Sorry I don't want to fumble with a cellphone app just to gain entrance to your gym. A few day later I met with a trainer who only was interested in shaking you down for money, to show you how to use all the equipment and purchase other products, Nothing like trying to grab money from retired seniors on a limited budget. After my complaint to Silver and Fit I was able to join another fitness center in the area with an open pool, who were not looking to shake down seniors for MONEY. Tonight I received a spam text asking to rate their faciality. The link took me to their website , telling me about all the programs they have and how much money each one costs. I guess they really didn't want my opinion but I figured since they asked I would post it here

The owners of this gym owned the one in Brooksville. They signed me up for a membership, took my money and closed the doors days later... They knew they were closing when they took my money. They were signing others up too.

They won't talk to me or refund the money I paid for a gym that I only used once. They keep referring me to corporate. These people are shady crooks. Stay away... Far away.

The best part!... I just signed up at another local gym and apparently family fitness was calling other gyms trying to sell the Brooksville members (they already ripped off) for a premium.

I liked this gym in the beginning, right off US-19, easy parking, 24-hour access and staff was great.

These days it’s a different story, gym has been in a perpetual renovation. Since I joined over six months ago they have been “renovating” the gym but nothing has changed and there’s no progress or any renovation being done. After hours access is always fun too, you never know if your key tag will work or not. Received an email once that my membership was canceled without any warning but a couple days later it seemed like everything was okay and I was able to use my key tag again, at least until it stops working again and who knows when that will be again?

This gym has become an inconvenience and I am no longer interested in continuing to come here.

Not many options/alternatives around either, but it is what it is.

My girlfriend and I started our accounts on the same day and prepaid for the memberships. For some reason my account expired recently while her's still shows 2 months remaining. Man am I glad I found this place. I was going to planet fitness, and I had to go late at night because my wife works mornings and I work evenings, so I'd go when she was at home with the kids. THIS GYM HAS A DAYCARE!! and now I can go work out in the morning. And boy are my days longer and I have much more energy. The daycare is included with the Red membership package at only $30 a month. There is no daycare that will watch your kids for $30 a week let alone $30 for the month. The gym it self it nice, they have all of the equipment you could ask for and most of it is newer, also lots of free weights! The building It self is a little dated , but that doesn't effect your working out. And oh yeah that also have a pool! I literally couldn't ask for a better gym! Do yourself a favor and check them out.

They have good classes, Zumba, and Body Combat are my favorite. There are 2 boxing bags, lots of equipment, and free weights. You have to ask at the front desk if you want kettlebells. There is a social area, where you can get free coffee. There is an outdoor pool area, which I haven't used.

They take Silver Sneakers for the retirees.

The free coffee, smoothies to purchase, and water fountains are no longer available due to Covid-19. You must wear a mask and have your temperature taken prior to working out.

If you want to do a class you need to download their app, and book on the app prior to that class. Some fill up so ensure you do this. There are still virtual classes available.

Good place. Nice staff and facility. Only upgrade I feel it needs is bathroom for the guys. I don’t know about the females. Always smells bad and is very old.

I do not recommend this gym at all. I had to quit even tho my membership was free. The gym was never clean, the equipment old, worn out and broken, the women's restroom should have been condemned by the department of health. To top it off, a homeless bum infested with fleas and bedbugs was sleeping in his truck but living in the gym. I complained to Lori and Ryan about the situation but they didn't care and defended having him there. That was it for me.

Just started going here a few weeks ago and I'm loving it. The staff have been super helpful. I'm doing Tribe Life with Crystal and wow I'm feeling it ..lol. I'm looking forward to the results. So far I'm feeling better physically.

The pros
Lots of equipment and space to perform workouts even on a busy day. Everyone from the customers to staff have been nice

The cons
The bathroom/locker room is gross and needs an overhaul.
While having the option for 24 hour access via a higher priced membership is great, opening at 8am on a Saturday for basic membership is downright absurd.
