We love Fantastic Gymnastics! My daughter has been taking a weekly class for a year and a half there and has improved so much under the guidance of the experienced, passionate and caring coaches. The facility is great for not only beginners but advanced gymnasts as well. My daughter is gaining strength, confidence, discipline and listening skills all while having fun!

We love Fantastic Gymnastics. We are in our 3rd year here and the transformation not only in my daughter's skills, but also her confidence in herself outside of Gymnastics has increased tremendously. Coach Sandy and her staff are amazing at working with kids to ensure they are learning and practicing in a positive environment. They try their best to accommodate your schedule and goals as much as possible. I highly recommend giving them an opportunity to show you what they can do.

The gym itself doesn’t seem very organized as far as having an office to pay and discuss classes and some of the equipment looks unsafe and held together by jump ropes or some rope maybe? I’ve also heard some not so good things about a few coaches they have and personally won’t be bringing my child back.

We are super fans of this gym! The coaches and staff are amazing, and so patient with each child. I think our kid would go everyday, if she could. The owner, Sandy, is a godsend, and incredible at what she does. Every kid is so excited to see her and show her their latest tricks. So glad to have found Fantastic Gymnastics, and will be around a while!

Absolutely amazing! My daughter has been going to classes for the past 3 years and we couldn’t be happier! Sandy is an absolute delight and very professional. We have seen our daughter grown so much and moved up levels in these past 3 years, because of the training she has received from all of her coaches. Absolutely thrilled with the gymnastics experience at Fantastic Gymnastics in Yulee/Fernandina! After a less-than-ideal time at another facility just a mile away, where my 3-year-old received minimal attention and guidance, we decided to give Fantastic Gymnastics a shot—and it's been a fantastic decision! The owner and coaches are incredibly welcoming, displaying a remarkable skill in working with kids of all ages. Their hands-on approach strikes the perfect balance, making the entire experience engaging and enjoyable. The facility is well-organized, and my daughter absolutely loves every session. Highly recommend!

They have amazing mommy and me offerings once or twice per month for those who are too young for actual classes. They also have an option to book birthday parties on the weekends. We just had my sons 2nd birthday here and it was a huge success!

The worst gym with the worst woman running it.

I’ve always been concerned about the safety of this gym. The equipment is old and the business owner has knowingly refused to fix broken equipment in the past. During a showcase, the coach had to keep fixing equipment that wouldn’t stay together as children gleefully ran at it for their turn. Not to mention, the coaches who have not been properly trained or are skilled at all. The coaches never demonstrate moves for the children and don’t know how to spot. But that isn’t the worst part. Sandy is an awful human. She asked another parent when my child was going to quit. On another occasion, she told another coach my child is lazy and doesn’t even try, unaware my child was within hearing distance. How is my child supposed to learn and grow when the coaches—who are at times children or addicts—have never given her a pointer? What finally got us to quit was when she policed my child’s social media account. My child reposted a cautionary tale of abuse at another gym; ballerinas are allowed to speak about others’ stories in the industry. Sandy thought the abuse happened at her gym and immediately told us that it was very serious and to take it down. If it was about her gym, she should have been concerned for my child instead of lashing out at her. I’m not sure she even saw the post; I think she heard about it through the grapevine. She is awful and I’m so disappointed that we paid for her services for so long simply because it is the only gym and the activity my child was interested in.

NOT FOR ME. The coach/owner seems to only pay attention to the elite group of girls. After being there for over 6 months, I don't think she even knew my child's name. Every class was the same thing. I doubt my daughter improved much at all since it was so repetitive and definitely not focused on individual strengths and weaknesses. My impression is that this coach takes in as many kids as possible just to get the fees. Her classes are way too big to give them any type of individual attention. If you are going to have classes that big, you should have more coaches. What she has is a couple of overweight teenagers with little or no experience (or so it seems) other than maybe being on a cheer squad or doing some tumbling at some point in their young lives. You NEVER see any of them (including the coach) doing anything related to gymnastics. None of them look fit or look like they ever or currently are gymnasts. It is also way too expensive for what you get in return. $20 per class plus a very hefty registration fee for the same repetitive class week after week and no individual support. Felt a bit like a puppy mill. I switched my daughter to another gymnastics option and her new coach is strict but treats all the girls as individuals and tries to focus on their talents. She caps her classes off at 8 girls. She absolutely looks like a gymnast and you even see her physically work with the girls when she is trying to show them something new, she will demonstrate it herself. She is less money, very small registration fee and I don't get the impression that she coaches for the money but for the love of the sport. I never got that impression at Fantastic Gymnastics.
