Gymnastics centerAbout the Club
First Coast Gymnastics was founded in 1994. Our goal and philosophy is to teach gymnastics in a fun and safe environment. Our coaches and trainers always strive to help develop each student’s individual skills to their full ability. Our programs are designed to teach children in both recreational classes and competitive teams. We work in a safe and friendly atmosphere. All coaches are safety-certified, USAG members.

Over crowded, no chance of 1-1 training.
Our daughter has been going to this place for almost 3 months and hasn’t learned anything new.
I understand the concept of learning the fundamentals and proper techniques, but doing the same drills every single week is just lazy.
Ironically, coaches don’t correct form or proper techniques either.

Our family has been part of this incredible gymnastics gym for the past three years, and I truly can't say enough good things about it! From day one, the coaches have shown an unmatched level of dedication, knowledge, and passion for both the sport and the kids. They’ve helped my child grow not only as a gymnast but also as a confident, disciplined, and determined young person.
The training is top-notch. It’s structured, challenging, and encouraging. My child has been pushed to new levels while always feeling supported and valued. The sense of team and community here is amazing. It really feels like a second family!
Whether your child is just starting out or is a competitive athlete, this gym provides the perfect environment to thrive. We are so grateful to be part of such a positive, professional, and uplifting program. Highly, highly recommend!

We have been going to this gym for over 2 years now and my kids love it here. Best gym in our area. Coaches work hard with the kids and we see results! The owners know what is needed to be successful. Highly recommend!

Owner doesn't care about kids, doesn't care if you have been there for years, she could care less. They told my daughter she made team THEN they rescinded and said they told the wrong parent, it was a MISTAKE. This is after my daughter called everyone in our family to tell them. The owner is unreachable and won't talk to you, I happened to catch her at the front desk to talk to her about how my daughter was heartbroken about the mistake they made. I said I would pay for private lessons and we could figure out how to resolve the problem. She said "no, hundreds of kids want to be on the team". I said....okay....then asked what my daughter can work on for next year to maybe try out and she said, "she will never be on team". My daughter is 9. I understand not every child can make team, but she has been at this facility for 2 years. It's the owner fault she isn't training kids properly to make team. Now my daughter is "endlessly" stuck in "advance class" because the owner has already decided she will never make her team. That is really poor encouragement and motivation for children.

This place might be better for older kids. Not much individual time with coaches. Overcrowded. Not much improvement after one year here. No feedback or analysis from teachers. Meh.

My experience with First Coast Gymnastics is really disappointing. There is no clear communication between the personnel and the parents about your kid performance and their level structure. Constantly calls and questions from my side and not enough information. My daughter was yelled by her coach and only her because she was not performing the task correctly (these kids are there to learn). She was so upset that she didn’t even to go back. When I told them that I am signing her off they didn’t even ask why the only thing they told me that I can’t get my money back for the rest of the month. We find new great place where they have clear structure and the communication is so easy between parents and coaches.

Hosted my daughter's birthday party here and it was so seamless. They did pretty much everything and the coaches were so great with the kids. Highly recommend!

After waiting 4 months for an available spot, my child was able to come in for recreational gymnastics. I must say that I am not too impressed with the recreational portion, However, competition seems to be the best route. I have noticed inconsistency on the recreational aspect and my child lost interest. Also, there were always different coaches, which my child was not too happy about it. Some coaches were nice and some others not so much. The front desk person has always been friendly; my only complaint would be when I showed interested on having my child on the team to compete no one ever reached out. My child eventually lost interest for doing the same exact recreational routine for over a year. If you wish to have your child competing, FCG is the place to be. Recreational, not so much.

Basically an assembly line. The younger kids are getting almost zero guidance in a laughable 1 hour class. Parents I urge you it’s not worth it!!

My daughter has been going to FCG for the last 4 years and there isn't any other gym I would trust with her coaching more. When she began she wasn't a competitive gymnast, Coach Andrey and Coach Elena not only groomed her to be a great competitive gymnast, they helped her love the sport. She is now competing at an Optional level.
The coaches at FCG care and they want to see their students put in the work. If they don't feel their gymnasts are working up to their potential, they will push them. If you are looking for a babysitter class, you will not find it here. What you will find are knowledgable and caring coaches that will work hard to build the best gymnasts.

Great gym! They have amazing coaches who make you do amazing and make you work very hard. If you don't do your best , they will make you work harder, and be way better than you were before. They are very tough on you because they care.
