My grandson Cooper has been coming for two years and loves it . His sister is beginning soon. The entire staff from Rhonda /Connie and everyone else is very sweet and loving . I feel blessed to know that my grandkids are in a happy and healthy environment. They learn so many things and my grandson Cooper calls it Cocomelon . He dances ,sings , and plays . Our family loves Fit Kids! My Children have been attending Fit Kids of America since they were 2 years old. My oldest now 7 and youngest 4 enjoy the time spend at Fit Kids. Our family is very happy with the care they provide.
They have a great staff, with very loving and caring teachers. The VPK and Summer Camp programs are excellent, with lots of fun and learning activities the kids love.

I trust this Summer Camp and After school with all my heart. Last week we had a scary time that Thanks God and this awesome place didn't end bad. My son was having a drink when he suddenly swallowed a water bottle cap. He began to choke and thanks to the swift response and actions of his teacher at Fit Kids of America Summer Camp, my son is alive and well🙏🏻.
Their staff is caring, highly trained and very professional!
I recommend this place to every Parent that needs a Summer camp or After school they can trust.

My son has been coming here since he was 2, now 5. Maria is a sweetheart. She's my favorite one to greet us at the door. The teachers really love your kids. The entire school is very well put together. I love the fact that they open until 7 pm. Gives me enough time to get there after working late. Overall, it is a great school. I love this facility, they have a great staff, it's clean, theres many different rooms with different activities for the kids to participate in, they give snacks and they help and make sure homework is done!! It pains me to be writing this review as I believe the camp staff is great. So patient and engaging and my son always had a great time.

However, I unfortunately had a very bad experience. I had fallen asleep, had a migraine and slept through everything which is unheard of for me - woke up
5 mins after camp closed. My son has been coming to this camp for two years never any issues.

They got a hold of my emergency contact but they still threatened DCF. For a single mom with zero, Support juggling my life, this was an insult, offensive and downright hurtful. You should never threaten DCF especially because the parent is late by 15 mins.

Considering this is a female led business, I am just so disappointed at how quick the threat to call DCF and essentially "try to take away my child". I know that I have no issues and my child would never be removed but just to say those words...WORDS MATTER.

The owner, Rhonda Smith, asked me to hit her, “to lay my hands on her” and became very aggressive in our exchange, she is rude and disrespectful, and just someone that should not be dealing with children.

I am disgusted, disappointed, I just don't understand. I am completely disgusted with humanity. I feel deflated as a human being as we are ALL struggling and compassion is always welcomed.

My experience with Fit kids has been great. Nothing is perfect but i have always been given the time to speak yo any of the managerial staff with any concerns.. Stephanie, was great with communicating good and bad things with me about my son. Any concerns I had I can always go to her..

I called to check if my son has arrived to Fitkids via a private bus feom school and with care and promptly i have been advised.

Maria and Mercy in the front are careful to whom the release the children to which makes me feel my son and other children are safe. Also they know all the kids names. LOL...

Horrible experience. Lack of communication all around. The director is extremely unprofessional. Very defensive. First time taking my son here and last time. I will NEVER recommend this camp to anyone. Teachers yell at their students. Most of them don’t speak English. Instead of a camp where they can have fun, they treated my son like it was boot camp. I was told they were “preparing him for school”. Excluded my son from events.. PAID field trips. When asked for refund there was excuses. Still pending a refund. Very unpleasant experience. This is the best vpk, after school and summer program around. All of our children have had amazing memories and times at fit kids. The staff is amazing. The director responded by threatening to call DCF accusing me of child abuse and neglect when I disagreed with their pick up policy. She is completely mis/ill/uninformed about where the policies that govern her program come from (DCF). Specifically, she stated it was illegal to let a child weak home alone, and when I pointed out that plenty of school children are released to their older siblings at every public school, Mrs. Ronda Smith would decline to correct her mistake and denied my children access to her program in retaliation to my challneging her erroneous information. She has obviously decided her pride was bigger than the responsibility she has to children at the non profit facility that cares for them. Ultimately, she has demonstrated a lack of professionalism and candor. She is also sadly misinformed about the policies that govern her program; confusing said policies with the law. Her threatening any parent with calling DCF to make accusations of child abuse and neglect was inexcusable. I can't imagine how she would treat the children. Parents be aware of the over-zealous woman in authority of your children.

Our family is extremely pleased with our son's experience at Fit kids. The staff is friendly and very informative. I have great communication with my son's teacher and am always updated on the needed basis. The facility is very bright and kid friendly. The ambiance will automatically make children feel at ease. The staff is amazing! I love the facility. It is kept very clean and they offer a variety of fun and educational activities for the kids to do. They have a remarkable preschool program. I met all of the preschool teachers on Open House day, and they are sweet and caring. My daughter loves attending Fit Kids Academy and I am at peace knowing my child is safe!

PARENTS BEWARE: I had both my kids there , one in the daycare and the other in after care and I couldn't get them out fast enough!! My son would come home full of purple bruises and DEEP bite marks! And although they would call me at work for the stupidest things (i.e. signing their log) I NEVER ONCE received a call about the markings. I would get there to pick them up and once I was finally able to get someone's attention, no one ever knew where anyone was or if they were even in the building!! There was even a time when my daughter would get on the bus after dismissal and the 5-7 minute ride somehow turned into 3hrs! I had a big situation when I would get to the school at 6pm only to be told the bus "hasn't arrived" since 3:05!! Once again, no phone call. My daughter would be on the bus 3hrs without using a restroom, no snack, nothing! The directors are a joke and extremely unprofessional. Specifically Rhonda and Connie. They put up a great façade but I warn you, it's not what it seems. I could go on and on... If you love your kids, please spare them the horrific experience!!

"WARNING"this place is HORRIFIC.My son was coming home with bruises and bite marks with no incident report or phone call.When I would ask no one knew what happen.My 8 year old daughter was also mistreated and bullied.No action ever taken.When i made my complain to the directors Connie & Rhonda they got aggressive and tried to put it on my child and made it seem he was the problem and didn't even address my other complain.To top it off once I told her I would make a review and report she tried to extort us and refused to give us our transfer papers and copy of our children's files.PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL LEAVING YOUR CHILD IN THIS AWFUL ESTABLISHMENT.
