I really wanted to like this place. I really wanted to support small business owners. But the shady stuff they pulled at the end is unacceptable. They knew that they were not paying rent. They knew that they were going to close. Yet they gave patrons only a days notice to cancel their memberships as the gym closed down. And I was still charged for the last month (even though they were closed for half of it lol), and the icing on the cake, I was conveniently charged the “annual fee” the month before they shut down. Just unprofessional and not considerate at all for their patrons.

Great gym, the only downfall? They obviously cannot seem to set their own opinions aside and just follow COVID-19 guidelines set forward by the city and therefore the gym keeps getting shut down. Owner has received several citations and has been arrested for not following mask ordinance and still cant seem to learn their lesson and follow guidelines.

I want to give a great review to the owner for standing up for what he believes is right. If he doesn't want to enforce the mask mandate because it is not his job to do so then good for him. I love how most of the people criticizing him look like they havent been in a gym since the first Bush administration. Maybe all of you need to mind your own business. If you want to wear a mask at the gym then you do so, if not then don't go. But forcing people to do something that might affect their health (oh yeah most of you geniuses need to read the actual CDC guidelines against mask wearing at the gym and the ADA act against it) is asinine.

Also read the actual county mandate, "if your religion doesn't allow you to wear a mask you don't have to". What a joke. Maybe more people should learn to mind your own business and educate yourselves before you tear anyone down online. This world would definitely be a better place if everyone would do that.

I have been going to this gym for about 3 months now. I can honestly say that it feels like home. I drive 30 minutes to get there, and it is more than worth it. I have never felt more comfortable in any other gym. It truly feels like they care about the community they build. It is spacious, with an amazing outdoor turf, and with new equipment. It is by far the cleanest gym I have ever been to. They truly do such an amazing job. I have been going since the gym opened after the 3 month closure due to COVID. I can vouch that they go above and beyond to maintain the facility clean and provide sanitizing stations throughout the gym. Best gym in Broward county. Check them out, you won't regret it!

This gym is awesome! I've been a member for over a year now and couldn't be happier. One of my favorite things about this gym is how immaculate it is. Since the begining I've always noticed that & it made me feel at ease working out there, i'm a bit of a germaphobe lol but within reason . I drive 45 minutes to get to this gym because it is so amazing. The owners are friendly, truly care about your workout experience and how you feel the moment you step in until the moment you leave. I honestly feel like family there. That’s how amazing it is. It’s not like these other non family owned gyms where people workout who aren’t serious about fitness, or don’t care about respect or treating you nice. The owner had talked to me many times about how I’m doing and I didn’t even realize he was the owner until later because of how personable he was. I found this hidden gem during the beginning of quarantine. I had to move home from fort Myers due to a lay off from my job and I was in search of a particular gym that was 24 hours, clean, reliable, and not over crowded to the point of being uncomfortable like the gyms I kept finding nearby. This gym has been more than amazing. They have an incredible staff, the owners Jillian and Mike are exceptional people and business owners and truly care about their gym and members, the cleanliness is outstanding, and the equipment is dope and everything you could ever need! Also you can’t forget the YARD! I enjoy coming to this gym everyday. It’s always a nice and productive atmosphere. No one is ever judging you based on your gym attire or your fitness level. I’m proud to be a member of 1440.

I will start by saying that, I truly appreciate in these covid19 times that this gym has taken every precaution to keep germs down, by making sure we have sanitary items, such as cleaning sprays paper towels and hand sanitizer everywhere also they are constantly moping and wiping down machines. Now I been to many gyms and this one is pretty well thought out there is different areas for different things like they have a designated trx area there is an outside turf area for sled and tire training there isn't any gimmicky machines in the gym it's not cluttered you have space to move around very nice and I would recommend any one to come and try this gym out

To go to every morning. This gym has everything I need, lots of machines in excellent working order lots of hammer strength equiptment, dumbbells are plenty and most have two pairs of each, kettlebells, tons of attachments for cable pull ya, landmine attachment and tons of other variety’s of equiptment the possibilities are endless. What I like most if the outside area where I can get my conditioning in in the sun as well as stretching absorbing plenty sunshine and vitamin d. Every time I finish working out here I’m completely destroyed and super happy and looking forward to my next workout. Big ups and thanks to fitness 1440 for providing an excellent space.

I stopped into 1440 after I received a flyer on my car at Publix with the promotion they are currently offering, im down in the area checking it out to potentially make a move down here. It surpassed all my expectations as it was extremely clean and the staff was super nice. A big thing for me was the cleanliness of the bathrooms and locker room, everything was also well racked and very neat. Made me feel right at home, I will be back down and joining 1440. Been a member for a few years and this is the best the gym has looked under new management. Equipment, mirrors, bathrooms..are in good shape unlike before were the water fountain was always broken, bench pad were ripped and mirrors were cracked. I do miss some of the outside equipment but you have to take the good with the bad. Hope the gym keeps improving. Planning on being a long time member.

My fiance and I found a six week challenge on Facebook and since we are very active we wanted to give fitness 1440 a try. I had 2p.m appointment for today and my fiance had a 3p.m appointment as well .
We got there at 2:00 and waited outside hoping someone would open the door for us. Finally we got in and we spoke to a lady that told us nobody was at the front desk today and when I told her I had an appointment to see Jillian she said Jillian would not be in today . We decided to stay and check out the gym on our own hoping that Jillian would show up for the 3:00 appointment. I have to say the womans locker room was very nice and clean and the steam room an sauna was very nice.
The fact that they stood us up on not just one but two appointments was very unprofessional and disrespectful to waste others time.
We didn't put our names on the guest list but we do have pictures to prove we were there.

I cant not even begin to express how happy and blessed I am that I found this gym. This is handsdown the cleanest gym Ive ever been to. This is medium size gym but it is so incredibly well equipped and open 24/7!!!! I usually workout at night and the gyms around here that are open 24 hours are limited and the few that are nowhere nearly as well equipped as this one. Most of the gyms open 24 hours are very basic....and require you to modify your routine extensively bc of the limited equipmemt thwy have. Not in 1440...real quality machines and even during peak hours is not overcrowded like these popular chain gyms.... Staff is super nice and friendly and very accomodating...they have an outside area for crossfit-style workouts...I mean everything you will need for a proper workout you will find in this gym. They have spinning classes, yoga, group classes, massages, tanning machine, sauna, steam room. HIGHLY recommend this gym. This gym is a bit of a drive for me but Ill gladly make the drive daily.

I've been going to the gym for about a year and a half and LOVE it! I can't imagine ever going to a gym without a "Yard" . I love putting music and pushing the sled back and forth, sweating and enjoying sunny south florida. The people that attend the gym are friendly and it's a great sense of community. I am not a former employee, or a competitor. I have been a loyal member of this club since it opened as a gym in and around 2005. Don't join!! Bad Karma!! Kind of dirty now too. I have been paying my dues and annual fee without exception since that time. I have gone through the ongoing roof leaks, failures of air conditioning , broken saunas for all these years. I am in my 60's, it is a neighborhood gym for me. I have been going to the yoga class all these years. Many swipes on my barcode. REally exclusively yoga, no equipment. Suddenly the "new" owners( for lack of better words) decided they wanted more then double what I've been paying for membership/yoga. Although I was told originally my membership would never go up for the services. I asked to be grandfathered in. The new management I dealt with said they created a yoga studio out of a little room in the back so now they are charging for yoga.

The gym is advertised as 24 hours however the gym was closed early this morning without any prior notice to customers. So i got a flyer in the mail that says 19.99 i was excited because it's right by my house and i was shopping for a gym. I went in and was told the 19.99 is only to come to the gym between 10 am and 3 pm. The real price i was told is $29 per month and $69 down with a 12 month contract. I tried to sign up for the 30 days free with a new membership and that was not honored as well. There were stipulations that was not on the ad. I was also advised although they are 24hrs no employee is staffed after 8 pm. If you get the flyer the data is false nothing i initiated was honored. It looks and smelled great inside. The machines are state of the art. They even have an outdoor section with large tires. There are sugar free protein cookies out front for $3.50, water bottles, and shakes it seemed. They need more people as well since the one employee was discussing signing up with two of us all at once. I don't know the other person and value my privacy. Overall very nice gym but the fact that a flyer came out with false advertising seems shady. Nowadays you have to be very careful of the companies you provide banking info to and what you are signing for or you end up being trapped or get a collection balance on your credit. Charges need clarity and need to be honored .

I utilize this facility for weight training with free weights, and some machines. The only down side is that it packed from 7 am. To 9 pm. I prefer to go at 2 to 3 in the morning for better availability of the equipment.
The equipment that is needed is needed, I would have to say, the handles with strap connections are always a chore to locate two of the same, and there is cable crossover machines with alot of drag. Easy affordable fixes.
As for the Staff, I really dont know. I don't interact with any, except the man who cleans very well in the middle of the night. Very professional.

I love this place. You never have to wait for equipment. The staff is polite and inviting. They really make you feel like family by putting you first with it's prices and class schedules. You won't find a 24 hour gym for this price with the amount of amenities in the local area.

Been going here for about a year now and is a great multi use gym with a pretty decent crowd that takes exercise seriously. Little small in the locker room, but cool place, and great location right in heart of plantation.

This facility deserved a 5star from me -simply put the staff has been really good which is so rare in the fitness industry. No gimmicks when signing up. Plus recently I had a snaffooo with my billling and the general manager was so understanding. He had wonderful customer service. Outside of service, the bathrooms are always
Clean which is a huge plus for me. I love that there are weights available when I need them. Although is usually come in the morning and weekends so not sure about the afternoon rush. I also haven’t taken any classes so I also can’t speak of that. All in all
I’m glad I left my other gym and expensive classes.

I have been going to this gym for a little over a year now and must say it's awesome. Open 24 hrs so there is no excuses. The people that go there are very pleasant which is new to get used to in South Florida. Very good atmosphere.

I visited there today simply to get info & do a tour. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised!😊 First off, I was greeted with a smile by a delightful young lady (Quest). She took us on a tour and explained everything in a non salesly manner. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the general area but especially the bathroom. The inside was way bigger than I expected. It was not crowded and had a homie/community feel to the place. The atmosphere did not feel threatning nor intimidating. The class offerings are decent.
I am strongly considering joining. Kudos to the owners,management and Quest for her superior customer service.

I was looking for a gym to workout at while on vacation and I took a chance on Fitness 1440 and I am very glad I did. Very nice, clean gym. Nice selection of equipment to choose from. The front desk was very nice. I will be working out here every time I am in Plantation.

I have worked out at the gym for years. It's a good gym. You see the same people there. They work out hard and are very friendly. The only reason I don't give it five stars are the following:

1) The men's locker room: really tight and hot in there. I workout during my lunch hour and it is always 80 and humid in there. I know the layout probably cannot be changed but please, at least, add a fan!

2) The music. I know it sounds petty but the gym seems to play the same music on loop so every time I'm there. I am constantly hearing the same songs. Additionally, and more importantly they have speaker stations that blast the music. I wear headphones and many times I can hear the music over my headphones. Please change it up. Please turn it down a few clicks.

3) Please fix the front door. The one exit door has been jacked for nearly a year.

Cleanest gym I've been to yet. Never have problems with staff or gym. Always very polite and willing to help. As long as they are in business I'll be a member. 5 star all the way.
