This gym is absolutely amazing, the equipment is well maintained, the facility is always clean I always see people cleaning and mopping etc. But above all the staff is incredible, very kind and Alexa is a rockstar. She has great customer service skills and is genuinely always happy to help in any way. I give this place a 10/10! And highly recommend it to everyone.

A woman on Monday, August 11 at 9:00 PM brought a dog to the gym to train with it, my friend and I have allergies to dog hair, now in the areas where the dog was we cannot use them, not to mention the risk for the dog to be inside a weight area

It's awful.
1. There's a huge cardio room that no one ever uses
2. At the same time there's only one single barbell, so you'll never get to do a proper workout without spending half of the day waiting
3. Guest policy is ridiculous - $25 per day for a guest?? Someone is visiting you and wants do do a workout with you, well.. you're out of luck
4. For all this crap they charge $90 per month + $125 sign up fee, so basically it's $100 for tenants living in the building

Nice building gym amenities wise.
But their guest policy is comical. This is the first apartment gym be ever seen that charges $25, PER DAY, to bring your guest.
Friends visiting out of town? Too bad. Gotta pay.
It acts like it’s a fitness club, buts it’s a building gym. You don’t charge people $25 every single day so their mom can use the stair climber when visiting out of town.

They say it is open until 11pm. Got there at 10:31 pm today to do some cardio and the door was already locked. The sauna in the men’s bathroom is not working for weeks now. They need to improve a lot.

New incident: 9/10/24 between 8.30/9pm. I have been training at this gym for a long time and I have once again witnessed the inappropriate behavior of the same girl at the front desk. She was yelling at a client who was with her children including a small one in a stroller, the client tried to leave to stop the discussion, I heard her say she would not come back to train here, the girl continued to yell and tell her to stay here to sort it out. She is very disrespectful and very unprofessional, every time I come she is rude, always on her phone and annoyed as soon as someone asks her something. I do not understand how someone like her can work at the front desk of a gym! Some friends wanted to sign up a few weeks ago and she refused to give them a tour of the gym and was very short with them, too busy being on her phone as usual! I asked the customer with her children if she was ok, and when I saw her outside again, I advised her to escalate this unacceptable situation. Several other people who were training were shocked, we could hear it from the bikes, she told her multiple times that “I’m busy! I’m on my phone: on Instagram!”
She even pointed her phone with instagram opened… Not a good look at all!!! Too bad because the other employees are friendly and professional.

There are inadequate amount of cardio machines that barely anyone uses there and very little (literally 7-8) of weight training machines in total.

Like 10 treadmills out of which just one is usually occupied by someone... and ten of each other cardio machines, and you never see anyone on them...

The Flamingo used to have the best gym I've ever been to. It was one of the top perks of living here. Super spacious, with incredible views and amazing instructors. Then they went and renovated the building and moved the gym to the first floor and just like every other renovation in this building, they completely ruined it. On top of that they raised the rates too. So now residents have to pay more for so much less. The new gym is just awful, I can't believe they robbed residents of such a great amenity. It would be one thing if the gym was included in the rent, but we have to pay extra for it too. I got a membership in an outside gym that's much better, but I hate that I have to leave the building to use the gym when we had such a good one already.

El gimnasio nuevo del 2022 es una BASURA ! definitivamente el que diseñó este gimnasio no tiene ningún conocimiento sobre fitness . No hay ni tan siquiera un 30 % de los equipos necesarios de un gym con dignidad. El espacio es súper pequeño, los espejos mal ubicados . Un HORROR ! encima cobrando una membresía que no lo vale y a los residentes de Flamingo . Es que ni siendo GRATIS vale la pena . Decepcionante el cambio que han hecho , de un gym tan grande a esta cosa que ni nombre puede dársele 🤢.

I go to this gym because it’s located inside my apartment complex and has the equipment that I need. However, the atmosphere is terrible. There are always people there doing full on photo shoots. It makes it really uncomfortable if you’re actually there trying to put a real workout in. One look at their Instagram will make it clear this is a gym for “fitness influencers.” They also hold group classes with loud music in the middle of the gym during peak hours.

El estado deterioro de este lugar es impresionante el aire acondicionado no funciona bien, malos olores, las máquinas detetioradas y en mal funcionamiento.

Así como son de efectivo y puntuales para cobrar la mensualidad deberían ponerlo en práctica en el mantenimiento de las instalaciones.

Esta máquina tiene un mes que no sirve,quien responde por los usuarios del gym?

Seguimos con el mal funcionamiento de las máquinas y el deterioro después de dos meses.

Excellent gym, best views of the ocean of any gym in south beach. Not overcrowded, and plenty of amazing cardio machines that allow you to run through different paths on screen. Excellent prices on snacks, protein bars, and energy drinks. Lots of classes for anyone that is interested. Sauna's in the locker rooms, and always very clean.

I love working out and looking over the bay! It's so amazing! Lots of space in the gym compared to Other gyms on the beach. A lot cleaner than other gyms on the beach. Classes are amazing! The trainers are excellent especially Michelle!

Debbie the old manager that works the front desk is the most unprofessional and just outright eccentric individual I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I have lived in Flamingo for 12 years now, and ever since she came in a few years ago, she was so rude it made me cancel my entire membership and start jogging outside instead.. after going 5 times a week for over 10 years!

To elaborate about Debbie.. over the course of these many years credit card numbers and leases change and so there will be an occasional hiccup at the front desk. Debbie will yell out at you from halfway across the gym that your credit card got declined and to get back right now to fix it! 1 time, she was even looking at the wrong screen when she barked at me, my payment was good! Not even so much as an apology. Needless to say, it's embarrassing how unprofessional the gym employee's behavior is. I can't wait until she gets fired so I can come back and not look at her old miserable, "just smelled a fart face" every morning.
