I randomly choose to check out FAC based on a google search for "small group training". I am a snowbird in SRQ and was looking to find a trainer for a couple of times a week while in town. Wow - I feel so lucky to have found Zac. Even though it is small group - the attention and customization to my needs was on point. Most days there were only 2-4 other people while I was there. The atmosphere is excellent - good music, great and varied equipment, good people, easy access and parking, flexible schedule but most importantly an awesome trainer with skills and personality!

Zac is so knowledgeable in all training styles. I have been training with him before and throughout my pregnancy. He adjusts workouts as needed while also pushing me. I have been to numerous trainers and gyms over the years. Zac, the owner of FAC is by fair the best trainer I have ever met. It doesn’t matter your age, physical limitations or starting fitness level Zac will customize workouts just for you. He can make you feel like an athlete in no time. I have been working with Zac at Nomad fitness for about 5 months and during that time my entire life has changed. He has transformed my entire approach to fitness and nutrition. I am planning to join the military and working with Zac has provided the foundation, guidance, and accountability to rocket from the worst shape of my life into the literal best shape of my life in record time. I am able to push well beyond my comfort zone because I can trust that Zac would not ask me to do a workout that I was not capable of handling. At the beginning of each session, we discuss how I'm feeling and identify weak points. We continue to scale my runs, weights, and calisthenics and I have completely avoided injury due to the foresight and well rounded/ holistic approach that Zac takes when tailoring a plan for your goals and establishing a foundation.

Zac and Nomad Fitness has helped me to:
1. Bounce back from COVID, major abdominal surgery, and old injuries, in record time.
2. Blow my 10k PR out of the water, by nearly 7 minutes.
3. Go from barely being able to do 5 pushups, to pumping out multiple sets of 20+.
4. Continuously increase my bench, squat, and deadlift each week.
5. Eat a sustainable and healthy diet, and appreciate the value in doing so.
6. Look and feel more confident, strong, and energetic.

The environment is relaxed and fun, yet challenging. No matter how I feel walking in, I always walk out with more energy, self respect, and motivation. Best personal trainer I've worked with to date! Zac (owner of Nomad/ personal trainer/ fitness coach) is dedicated to customizing each workout plan for the needs and abilities of each client. He's super supportive and encouraging (I dislike gyms that feel intense or intimidating.) It's apparent that Zac is very knowledgeable and takes pride in his career. The studio gym is the perfect size for individual training sessions or working out with a partner. Zac is diligent about keeping the studio clean and sanitized. His wife, Lynsey (a massage therapist/ owner of MassageRx) works out of the massage studio attached to Nomad. She's an experienced massage therapist who offers recovery massage, CBD massage, cupping, etc. It's great to have fitness and massage in the same building... plus Zac & Lynsey are a great team that I can't help but root for! I highly recommend Nomad Fitness.

I had the opportunity to work with Zac at Nomad Fitness remotely and it was absolutely perfect. All the workouts were put out on the true coach fitness app with detailed instructions and uploaded in a timely manner. The communication was easy and quick. Even though I was working remotely on my workouts, I still was held accountable by Zac each and every week and he provided great motivation through out. I noticed results weekly and was able to reach weekly goals based off the workouts that were tailored towards my needs. I would highly recommend using Nomad whether it be remote or in person.

I started a program with Nomad about 4 months ago. I was in Washington DC and did everything remote- knowing what I had available, a custom program was designed specifically for me. I have developed sustainable eating habits and feel stronger than ever. I came to Zac after my pregnancy when I wanted to work on getting strong again. I really enjoy the remote programming offered through the TrueCoach app. The workouts are different and build off of each other, which I enjoy. Zac messages me often to check in and see how the workouts are going. I definitely recommend Zac as a virtual coach for anyone who doesn’t want to or can’t leave home.
