This place has very bad customer service!
I called yesterday to get information about registering my 5-year-old daughter for a trial class today, and I completed the registration online as instructed. We arrived 10 minutes before class, and when I checked in with the front desk, the staff member told me everything was in order.

However, about 10 minutes into the class, the coach suddenly pulled my daughter out, saying she wasn’t on the list. The front desk staff member was on the phone with another customer and remained on the call for another 10 minutes, offering no assistance. At that point, I decided to leave.

No one made any effort to fix the situation, and my daughter never got to do the trial class at all. It was incredibly disappointing for me and for her , it was disrespectful and felt like they simply didn’t care.

I had the pleasure of visiting **Florida Gymnastics Training** in Miami, Florida, and wow — what an incredible experience! I happened to be there during a **tryout competition**, and witnessing the talent, determination, and pure passion from these young athletes was truly inspiring.

The kids were **absolutely awesome** — focused, fearless, and full of energy. You could tell that they’ve been trained not just in technique, but in confidence and discipline. Every routine was impressive, and the supportive environment created by the coaches and staff really stood out.

The facility is clean, well-equipped, and designed to bring out the best in every gymnast. From beginners to advanced levels, it's clear that Florida Gymnastics Training knows how to nurture talent and create a space where kids can thrive.

If you’re looking for a top-tier gymnastics program in Miami, **this is the place to be.** Whether you're a parent, supporter, or just someone who loves the sport, make time to check this gym out — you won’t be disappointed!

Our daughter has been part of the FGTC family since she was 1.5 years old. This year we decided to take her party to the gym mats and it was nothing short of amazing! Coach Tere, Mayte, and Katie were amazing with all 20ish kids! They helped set up and breakdown. Anything I needed they were there without hesitation. We will be doing more birthday parties there as it was amazing!!!! It was affordable and all the kids left happy!

It is wasting money. Too much disorganization and little interest on the part of the coaches.

I strongly discourage anyone from attending this gymnastic place. The most unprofessional, disorganized, and unreliable business I have ever encountered. Specially one that is dedicated to children. My 8 year old had been attending this gymnastics place for 8 months and has barely learned anything. She’s been through 5 coaches in 8 months. The only coach who was any good, was moved to another age group after a month. They then didn’t have a stable coach for two months. In the meantime the substitute coaches were no good and would basically just have them jump the trampoline for 45 mins. I inquired about private lessons for months and was only given a call back when I said I was pulling my daughter out of the school. First private lesson I paid for a full hour and the coach got there late and only received a 30 min lesson. Second private lesson, I called to confirm the day before and was told it was all set, yet when we arrived, there was no one there. 20 mins later someone arrived and we are told the coach didn’t know about the private lesson. I’m now waiting for a refund and will be looking for a more dependable gymnastics school.

My son attended a one-day camp here, 8am-3pm. He did express that he had a good time, so that was a plus. However, I was disappointed to find that he did not eat a single thing for 7 hours. The lunch and snacks I packed for him were left completely intact. It looked like it had never even been opened. I spoke to the manager and owner, and their reply was that they don't force-feed the kids if they don't want to eat. In addition to actual lunch, plenty of snacks were left untouched in the bag. In 6 years, I've never had to force-feed my kid yogurt, bananas, or granola bars. If they're going to care for kindergarteners, there needs to be some kind of care involved to ensure they have something to eat over an entire day.

Our daughter withdraw from gymnastics. She expressed feeling stagnant and unmotivated, perceiving her progress to be limited to the intermediate level despite being in the advance level for the past couples of years.

My son has been going to FGTC since he was just 18 months old and is now 8. He has learned so much throughout the years about body awareness, proper movement, flexibility, and safety in properly practicing at home. He loves his coaches and wants to go back every year; he really never wants to leave after training. He's been promoted to Pre-team this year and can't wait for the new programing and the responsibility that comes with training. Because of FGTC he has been able to quickly adapt to new sports, and has gained the proper strength for his age. I love what FGTC has taught my son with their boys program, and look forward to having him train with them for a long time. Thanks guys!

I cannot say enough great things about FGTC! Both of my children have attended for 10+ years. We started both kids in the mommy and me class and it was great! Now my daughter and son are in the rec program and also attend the camps. The facility is clean, staff is friendly and the parking is always easy.

This place is poorly run.
The owner doesn’t care and will throw away your child’s personal belongings, and very immature.
Most of the coaches are not certified.
Also poorly maintained. Kids urinate in the pit.

Honestly, It's bad. My daughter went and told me one of the floor teachers told my daughter they were weak when everyone was picking up the equipment. Who tells a 10 year old, they are weak when everyone is picking it up at the sam time. When everyone is picking it up and putting effort into it.

Excellent training center for my daughter. They have kids grouped at their own level, great staff and coaches are very professional. 🤸‍♀️

Sometimes is pretty hard to find parking, so if going for the first time make sure you arrive 10 minutes early so you can find a space!

Both of my children have attended FGTC at the under 5 age group classes. We have always been very happy with the instructors. Both my son and daughter loved attending and never had any complaints. The waiting room was recently redone and is much more comfortable. We often have to reschedule classes and the receptionist has always been incredibly accommodating. The owner, Abby is excellent. She is often at the front desk and always very friendly and interactive with the parents and children. I have heard stories about the difficulties at other gyms but never experienced any issues here. In addition, the staff has pretty much stayed the same the whole time we have attended- that’s a good sign!

if I could give this place less than a star I would!

WARNING* COACHES CALLING CHILDREN INAPPROPRIATE WORDS*

my daughter was at gymnastics, and a coach ( not saying names) referred to my daughter as a female dog, my daughter who was 11 was in front of her face knew what that word meant and so did the people that were with her. She goes to practice in the middle of the day and at the end is being talk to by the owner of the gym(who is full of himself) and telling her she has to apologize to the coach mean while she was the one who called my daughter that...She came home crying for about 3 hours not stopping once, she couldn’t even talk. When she finally could she said do I have to go back, and I told her no. We took her to Tumblebees and she is so extremely happy there she’s learned so much more and loves it.

WARNING* COACH TWLL MY DAUGHTER INAPPROPRIATE THINGS*

one coach in specific told my daughter the reason he dumped his girl friend, cussed in front of her, and told her stories about his sex life(that weren’t age appropriate) and she would tell him to stop and he would continue and she couldn’t leave because she would get in trouble because she I didn’t ask permission, and he works with both recreational and team.. I don’t know about you but I don’t want a coach like that!

But if u were to go there I would recommend Kristina, Mario, Tania, and Mayte they are all super nice!

Horrible customer service, i called looking to buy boys grips and at first they said they had them available but then asked if my boy was enrolled in their gym and when i said no they reply by saying then we won't sell you the grips... so went down the street to universal and purchased them and now thinking in joining their gym. Becareful with this gym, the professionalismprofessionalism by the front desk says a million.

My son is 2 years old and attends the tiny tumbler class with Christina, and loves his teacher and this place. He at first was very afraid of the parallel bars and now actually enjoys doing the activity "walk like a bear". I know that his confidence and coordination have improved tremendously. FYI, the place is always clean and tidy.

Waiting area is overcrowded. Pretty sure thats a fire code violation the way its set up. Its hot. Went for intro class that we had signed up for last week. No one was at front desk when i walked in. After a couple of mins a young lady walked out. Attended another parent for a few mins. When she finished came over to help me... looked up my info and said my son wasnt signed in for the class but to wait for 430 when they would call the classes in. By 440 no classes were "called" by then the woman at front desk had disappeared so i had no way to ask where to send my kids, so i left. This place left a bad taste in my mouth. I wont be returning to sign up my kids here.

The worst customer service!! WATCH OUT, the new teachers for toddlers have no patience. Every single child cries ever since they got replacement instructors. They look like they absolutely hate their job. I'm truly disgusted by the unproffesionalism portrayed in this place. 3 to 4 year old classes are not for 3 year Olds because they are too "immature" as the instructor told me. These classes are for 3.5 year olds to 4... like seriously who says that. When I asked for a refund, because clearly my child was not welcomed.. they simply said no. They'd give me a credit. What will I do with a credit, where my child is not "mature" enough for any class. You guys are so petty.
