Fort Pilates, formerly Rivers Run, is a boutique, private fitness & pilates studio in Fort Myers, Florida. The fitness & well-being of each person we work with is of the utmost importance and is the reason we exist. Through one-on-one and small group pilates classes, mind-body education, inspiration and resources, we offer services that positively impact the lives of everyone we work with. We offer Individualized and Customized Personal Training time for each person — each of whom are looking to improve themselves mentally and physically. We format and design each session based on needs present and informed goals. Choose: Solo/Duo/Trio Stay tuned for our new location plus sauna, red light, cold and salt therapies!

I have been to other pilates studios before finding Rivers Run. The classes are small and the attention is large. I have taken classes from all of the instructors and they are top notch. Rivers Run Pilates is a special place. The classes are fantastic, and the instructors each bring a different style. This makes the classes effective, fun and constantly new. My strength and flexibility have completely changed over the last year. I always look forward to making time in my schedule to attend a class. The classes are small and I find this helpful because instructors can watch all of the students. And it’s so clean! You’ll love it!!

I am so thrilled and impressed with Rivers Run Pilates studio. I have dabbled in pilates over the years with online videos at home but was never able to remain consistent. I have wanted try formal instruction with a reformer for ages and I am so glad I did. From the initial one on one sessions to the group classes this studio, Anna and the other trainers are amazing! Having the proper equipment and instruction I am able to achieve more than I ever did with the online videos at home. I also find that registering for classes and having them in my calendar, helps to maintain consistency with my workouts.
I highly recommend Rivers Run Pilates Studio!!!

Rivers Run Pilates is by far the best Pilates studio in Fort Myers. Anna has extensive knowledge and is always at the top of her profession. It’s been a pleasure to be able to practice within the studio no matter who is teaching the class. At any age Pilates is a very important part of staying active and balanced. Rivers Run Pilates is absolutely fantastic! I thoroughly enjoy attending sessions with Anna. As a newcomer to reformer Pilates, I initially found it a bit intimidating. I visited this studio for the first time two months ago after complaining to my wife and doctor about issues with flexibility. They suggested I try Pilates but I must say I was skeptical. As a 65 year old male, I was not confident that I would be up to mastering that reformer or its cables. Anna suggested I start with a few private sessions so I could get used to the machine, verbiage, and pace before I joined in the group classes and that was great advice.

Fast forward two months and the flexibility changes are astonishing. I jump out of bed with energy and I can bend and twist with 40 year olds. I used to have a lot of sciatic issues but I haven’t had an episode since I started working with Anna and her team. I’ve also lot 13 pounds since I started but I’ll add I have dieted too. I can’t say enough about how Pilates has helped me physically. I’m a lifer now.

Rivers Run Pilates is the best. It’s small classes which is very beneficial for improving technique. I look forward to attending her classes because she likes to get to know her clients personally. I am so happy I found this studio! Everyone is so kind and the workouts are actually challenging. It's a true pilates class which is hard to find in the area. I love coming here and I can already feel a difference in my body after a few classes.
My GPS had a little trouble finding the parking lot the first time but there is parking around back as well and a walkway to the door

I have trained in Pilates for now almost 16 years at one studio and needed to find new instructor, I am grateful to find Anna at Rivers Run. I have a pretty serious auto Immune Condition called Crest Syndrome Scleroderma . Because this condition results in Hardening of connective tissue I choose Pilates to keep limber . Anna is very aware of my condition and has been very helpful with her knowledge and technique to keep me moving . Truly a blessing to find her and her beautiful Studio.

Best pilates studio by far!! Anna is so knowledgeable and such a good instructor, you are guaranteed to get a great workout but to your own capabilities. Injury? No problem she will adapt the workout for you to get the best outcome to heal faster. Her studio is clean and spa like and it's a pleasure to work out there. All new balanced body equipment too!! I drive 50 minutes to her studio because it's so worth it!! I like it because it has 5 reformers and you get such individual attention, and love the mixed reformer class.

When I first met Anna I was recovering from old injuries. Anna is very knowledgeable, encouraging and patient. She refuses to allow your mind to be a blocker of what you are capable of. She has helped me reconnect my mind and body and taught me that I can do things I would have never thought I would ever be able to do. I had never done pilates before, and found Rivers Run Pilates from a friend. I was recovering from abdominal surgery and was very hesitant to go into a studio setting feeling as weak as I was. I met the owner, Anna for a private lesson to explain my hesitation and she met me exactly where I was. I have never felt more seen or heard by an instructor. During private lessons, Anna will guide you toward the strongest version of yourself. And during class, she manages to do the same even with others in the class. The studio is a very intimate setting, so she’s able to give one on one attention. The studio has a plethora of gear, so even after all the workouts I’ve done there, I haven’t repeated a workout once. It’s always changing which keeps my interest and keeps my body guessing. Anna is an expert in her craft. She understands the full mind, body, spirit connection. I was terrified to start this journey, but I have grown so much stronger since the day I met her. I believe there are angels that walk among us, and Anna, you are one of them. If you’re looking to gain length and strength and find a really cool group to hang out with, this is definitely your place!

I’ve been a working out since my 20’s when I fell in love with exercising at a Christian aerobic studio. I became a teacher. When I hit 50 I was doing CrossFit and said enough! I lost all desire for the lying vanities of “a fit body”, I pursued inner exercise like prayer, study of scripture, healing my wounds from life. This year as I asked what can I do? I want gentle yet effective, connecting my spirit to my mind and then my body. The proper order for me is spirt, soul, body opposite of how I lived the first 50 years, it was body, soul, spirit. When I was moved to google Pilates Rivers Run was one of many, I chose RIGHT!!! OMG I had no idea how my asking was going to be so blessed! Absolutely 5 star experience!

I was traveling through the area and contacted Anna at the last minute regarding classes. Amazingly, she replied almost immediately, and I was able to get in 2 classes with her before leaving.

Those classes were GREAT!! Anna is a talented instructor with valuable cues for performing the exercise, a well-rounded class that worked all areas of the body, and a really warm and friendly personality!

Ft Myers is lucky to have this Pilates studio with such a professional, expert owner/instructor. I was lucky to have found her!!

My first ever experience doing yoga and I could not have been any more impressed. The instructor Anna was very patient. she was not judgmental in any way. She accepted me as I came and helped guide me through my first yoga experience. There was no race or rush and she made me feel very calm the whole time. For some reason trying new things has always caused me a bit of anxiety but Anna helped that dissappear almost immediately. I felt at home. I would totally recommend River's run for your pilates and yoga needs. As someone who hasn't done much as a simple bend over and touch your toes stretch in quite some time she helped me not only feel extremely comfortable but also helped me feel capable.
