It was our first lesson today. we came here without any experience and it was amazing. It was very good. We were in a different world of dance, and we felt the confidence over here with a great dance trainers coaches: Daniel, Barbara, Vitaliy and all other coaches , they gave us one private lesson and we stayed for a group lesson after the private lesson. The atmosphere is very nice and very understandable and we are happy that we came here to these dancing club in Dr. Phillips and we’ll start our beginners program here then.
They gave us the the feeling like we are not a newcomers . We moved forward in the very first lesson. Thank to these guys , to this club and we’ll stay with this club.

This dance studio was recommended to me by my mother-in-law to learn a dance for my wedding. All the instructors are super welcoming and very understanding! Megan is my husband and my instructor she taught us our wedding dance and took the time to learn our leading styles which are different from one another. We felt comfortable with our dance that we decided to continue to go to the classes, and learn new dances until we figure out what we want! They have events they do which are fun I went to the thanksgiving potluck and it was lots of fun! My husband enjoys learning the tango and I love rumba! Fred Astaire Dr Phillips is such a wonderful place to learn how to ballroom dance. My whole family takes lessons and we love our time at the studio. The group classes are packed with learning and fun. The parties are a fun way to spend time on the dance floor with our dance studio family. The private lessons are spent learning steps, preparing for performances, and working hard to be ready for competitions. Dancing is one of the languages of love. The fluid and poetic movements can spark desire, rekindle the flame of passion, or offer the chance to become close to a lover; or to someone you propose to make one. Dancing inspires images of steamy Latin nightclubs, elegant waltzes or for those who are watching me, a spastic gorilla with impulse control problems. That being said Grigor and Angela had a lot of work to do to get me ready for the first dance of our wedding. As they taught my Fiance and I to dance they did so with a great amount of patience and levity. They reworked some of my signature moves so that no spectators would come to any harm during our opening number, and made it so that my new wife was charmed by me on the dance floor. My wife and I went to Fred Astaire in Doctor Phillips to learn a choreographed dance routine for our wedding on 9/1/18. We worked with both Grigor and Angela, and these two were absolutely wonderful! We purchased the 5-lesson program and learned a ~2 minute routine to our chosen song. Both Grigor and Angela are lots of fun, very patient, and great instructors. I would highly recommend them for novice level dancers like us, or for the more advanced as well. The studio is very spacious and beautiful with lots of amenities. We plan to come back for more lessons as a fun date night experience!!

Love it! The dance floor is huge. The decor is gorgeous. One private lesson also includes three group lessons a week in the evening, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There are parties monthly too. The whole experience is fun and exciting. The owners Grigor, cute as can be, and Angela, sweet as she can be, make learning easy and enjoyable. I have been dancing without my husband so I get to dance with Grigor and burn a lot of calories. You don’t need a partner.

Doctor Phillips Fred Astaire is located on Via Dellagio Way across from Regions Bank on the second floor so just go up the stairs or in the elevator. It’s in Dellagio off Sand Lake Road and Della Drive. Try it and you will like it. Tell them Lydia sent you. The lessons are the highlights of my week.
