Very bad investment. No one was at the front counter the entire time I was there. There were only two dirty rags for the entire gym to wipe your equipment down. No wonder there's a $20 cancellation fee

Went up there during business hours and was unable to get in the building. The sign out front says "ring bell" or call the number. There was no bell to ring so I called. Rang and rang and then went to a generic voicemail. Guess they didn't want 4 new members to sign up, nor did they want the income for my daughter to do jui jitsu.

I drill at Camp Blanding with the FLNG occasionally and can always count on Freedom Fitness. They offer a pass at a very reasonable price for servicemembers training at Blanding. 24/7 facility, no complaints here. Great gym, atmosphere and even better customer service.
Thank you guys for hooking up the servicemembers that are temporarily training in the area.

Recently I had a run in with another customer at Freedom Fitness that was caught videoing me bending over doing RDL’s. Not only was this caught and pointed out by a bystander whom I have never met but was also on a recorded video from the gym. When I approached the manager he said that it was unacceptable behavior and he would be trespassed immediately. This individual would never be allowed back in. So when I asked what happens if I see him I again they said to report it to them or ccso will be there to escort him out. A few days go by and I see him there again. Tried reaching out however no response which was okay because it was after business hours. So I tried to understand. Then I run into the manager again and wanted to bring up the fact that I ran into him after being supposedly trespassed. He said the guy was a valued client for multiple years and just talked to him about it. So when I asked what is he going to do about the other valued clients ( women ) that might not know this is what he is doing he said they would address it once it happens again. So the first time with proof was not sufficient plus lied to my face saying he would be trespassed and I would never have to see him, worry about him or deal with him ever again. At first I thought the manager chris took it very serious and was going to do something about this creep but apparently his “valued customer” that is videoing women is more important than the however many other women this has or will happen to. This is absolutely not how I wanted it to be with this gym as I have been going for almost a full year 4-6 times a week however I cannot stand by a place that lets this continue on.

Just started going to Freedom Fitness in October 2023. It is the type of gym I was looking for! Plenty of free weights and an area to deadlift and squat. It's not the cleanest gym I have ever been to but that doesn't really bother me.
Weeknights seem to be pretty busy, so I try to go on Friday evening and the weekend which has worked out fine for me. I have met a few of the staff and they were friendly and helpful.

One of the cybex treadmills don't work right I can't go up on the incline and can not go down on my speed you have to literally press stop to slow down and one of the other cybex treadmills makes a lot of annoying noises

I was treated well by the owner and his daughter(?) I think? A couple of the members made comments at me, but in general I was left alone to work out and do my thing. Good luck getting ahold of somebody to cancel, and I'd recommend not giving them your CC info, according to other reviews. Luckily I paid cash for a month, but I moved and am trying to cancel, with no luck. I like the gritty vibe of this gym overall though.

This is hands down the best gym. It’s always nice to see everyone talking while working out. It gets a bit reckless around 8:00pm when the teens come in but before and after that it is pretty awesome very good atmosphere. I love it

Never can get ahold of someone on the phone. My boyfriend has been trying to cancel our membership. We live 30+ minutes away, and we do not want to drive over there during their "club hours" to find out there's no one there. We have tried calling and emailing, and no one is returning either call or email. Also, every time I was going, the woman's bathroom had overflowing trash cans and no paper towels.

I went to sign up for this gym. People were looking at me like I was out of place. I just moved to the Middleburg area. I was look for a gym, by god was I wrong?
I m black they were only 10 cars in the packing lot but more than had the confederate flags.
No one was there to help.

I’ve been trying to cancel for 6 months. I’ve sent emails, called (voicemail is full ALWAYS), and the staff is never there. I had to cancel my credit card and now I have a collection company sending me letters and calling me. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and I suggest everyone having these issues should as well.

Tried inquiring about a membership. Show up during their "staffed hours" and the doors are locked and seemingly no staff is inside. Called several times and used the door ringer with zero response. Awesome gym. No I mean it's no L.A. fitness but in a way that can be better. They have everything you need to get fit,lose weight maybe improve your stamina. Definitely better than planet fitness. The community that goes there seems quite friendly so if looking for a good local gym freedom fitness is a fine choice.

I had a 2 year membership, only went a few months. I paid the full 2 years. I have been trying to cancel with one month prior notice. I cannot get through by phone. My emails and letters are not responded to. I sent a certified letter to the gym and it was refused. You may have to cancel your credit card, and get a new one issued if that’s how you pay, as they charge a new annual maintenance fee keep charging your card.

Fantastic gym. The owner is extremely gracious and friendly to those of the armed services. Have offered and paid numerous times sometimes worked out a day without having to pay. Not a member, but my truck got a flat close to midnight and I had stopped in the lot to look at it and a gym member flagged me down and helped get air back in my tire to get me home. This gym is wonderful, I came down for training at camp blanding and wanted a gym off post. The owner was very helpful in getting me a very very reasonable rate for my 10 weeks here. He takes pride in the gym.

The gym has all the basics you need if you're a bodybuilder. Functional fitness guys and powerlifters will have a more difficult time getting in the work they need. However for the price you can't beat it. PLUS 24/7 Keycard access.

Things to improve:

1. The water smells like rotten eggs (sulfur?) and taking a shower and sink, I felt terrible and doused myself in cologne after.

2. Please get more barbell clips, just for safety

3. the bench for us guys under 5'10 Is dangerous as we cant get it off without forward movement of our shoulders and putting us in a compromised position.
