My name is Josh Gainer. I have been a personal trainer in Gainesville for over 10years. I have worked with clients ranging from age 15 to 83. I specialize in making bodies of all sizes and ages stronger and more resilient.

Josh is a really great trainer. He offers really straightforward strength programming that delivers results in a healthy, sustainable way. I started learning with Josh from the beginner level. His programs are effective and he has a vast knowledge of form and safety. Something feels weird or tweaked this week? Josh will provide an alternative exercise, stretch, or way to train around it based on your proportions, anatomy, and training goals. Don't be fooled by his laid-back personality, because Josh will teach you to motivate, push, and be a monster in the gym.
He's always made himself available to answer my questions.

I have been training with Josh for about a year now. He is by far the best strength-training coach I have ever had. I had gone through the motions of working out at GHFC and even used their trainers. But I never saw any improvement. I had never seriously done strength training until I started with Josh last year February. Within a month of training with Josh I noticed a big difference. Josh focussed on 4 compound training exercises: Deadlift, squat, bench press and overhead press with barbells. For the first time I was enjoying weight lifting. I have been hooked ever since. Josh also knows how to fine tune exercises and back off weights when I am having back pain. The important thing is not to stop lifting. I have steadily gotten stronger and will continue to train with Josh. Recommend Josh highly and without any reservations.

I intended to buy 2 programs from Josh but he decided to give me 3, and it was all very affordable. These are meticulously crafted programs for a variety of needs and a full spectrum of levels, and he remained available day and night to answer any questions regarding them. I've had a few training sessions with him as well and he was able to provide advice and correction that have enabled me to subsequently lift more weight and with efficiency. I have been training with Josh for about 2 years or so and I can definitely vouch that he is one of the best personal trainers out there. I started off knowing nothing about lifting weights and training with him has laid out a solid foundation that’s gotten me so far in my fitness journey.
