It’s the best experience for kids (and parents).The entire place is designed for kids so they are already curious and comfortable. My son learned as an older kid there and we loved it so much we enrolled our 1 1/2 yr old.
I highly recommend this place for kids and parents that are struggling to get swimming . It’s so hard as a parent and its own challenges as an older kid. My son struggled with a program where we went to LA fitness pools. There were so many problems and he would scream bc it was too cold. I would always ask to make it warmer but they would say it’s “so-and-so degrees, that’s warm.” I Hated the experience there. It’s not designed FOR kids and parents. And I tried more than one pool. It was not for lack of trying. The young instructors seemed to hate their life too. Discounted programs are the worst.
Goldfish understands the water temperature is important. The ambience is FOR kids and the young instructors don’t visibly showcase their feelings, they are always professional and content.
There’s no comparison. I’ve also met so many parents unhappy with their private instructors.
Just go to Goldfish and save everyone the misery!

WOW! Exactly what we were looking for our 5 year old who needs to learn to swim. Personal service by professionals in a top notch and well designed facility. It’s easy to find a class and sign up online. We did a trial class. Noah checked us in and set us up as soon as we arrived. The friendly instructors were attentive to every student which were a variety of ages and levels of experience. The manager, Sidney was attentive and nice enough to ask how our experience went. We signed our daughter up for jump start clinic , 4 days of consecutive lessons in one week and it was the BEST thing we did for her progress. The swim instructor Bridget was the absolute best teacher we have had, you can see she loves her job and had helped our daughter advance her skills overnight. Terrific swim school! If you’re looking for the best swim school this is it! Safety is a big priority with lifeguards constantly monitoring the classes. My son was not in daycare for a period of time and had attachment issues; but with swim school having very patient and kind instructors he progressed tremendously! We love Goldfish!! When our daughter started she was afraid of water. Her first lesson. She literally cried entire first session plus more than half of the second session. She then started to be OK with water especially water on her head. We have been doing lessons with Ms. Amanda and Ms. Amanda is the best. Scarlette is not an easy child since baby. I wanted to say a big THANK YOU!!! to Goldfish swim school for being our #1 favorite activity and taking incredible care of us! This place is so warm and cozy for my baby. He never got cold in or out of the water since they’re both 90F!! The staff is so upbeat and helpful. The location is just beautiful too and they have snacks and incredibly clean and nice facilities. I’ve never waited in any line for the restrooms or changing rooms since there are so many. There are showers too, and it’s a very beautiful swim school! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. 10/10 recommend to all families! Great location too right off the interstate. (We have to take a break from lessons but look forward to returning very soon!). 30 min is the perfect length for swim class too. My baby is done by then. He learned so much in just a few short months! He can: climb out of the pool, go underwater and roll to the surface, kick, arm pulls, and every class there’s a “special skill” where they pull out a fun toy to teach the kids with like a slide or a floating island! It’s really a blast. Don’t think twice, this is the place to take your kiddos.

Although, he is a student who does cry and gives the teachers a hard time sometimes, the staff always brings the best attitude to make it a great outcome. Unfortunately our son got sick here. After a few bouts with stomach viruses, I connected that it happened the day after his swim lessons and suspected there was a connection. I thought at first he was swallowing the water and upsetting his tummy. Last 2 weeks he got very sick the day after his lessons and after multiple trips to the doctor, he strongly believes that the the pool is dirty and that swallowing the water is the issue because the water has the virus/bacteria in it. He recommended we pull him out immediately since it wasn’t an isolated incident, which we of course did. Manager was apologetic when I cancelled, but honestly didn’t sound shocked that we had this experience.

I wish we could have continued lessons as my son loved it there and looked forward to going to swim class. His teacher was great, the facility is very nice overall, staff are welcoming, but there is no compromise when it comes to his health.

3 months after 1st lesson: my 3 year old is swimming and no longer afraid of the water in any way. He swims 10-12 feet on his own and now working on his form.
4 weeks later review: After 4.5 weeks of lessons, he's gone from being nervous to starting to swim on his own with his face under water. That would not have been possible with Goldfish and their amazing staff.
1st visit review: We had a great first visit. My son was very nervous but the staff was able to get him in the water and settle in nicely. We are looking forward to learning to swim at Goldfish.

They keep the place really clean. They have 2 people whose only job is to continuously disinfect the whole place.

My twin 2 year olds and my 4 month old all attending Goldfish Swim School in Bonita and we couldn't be more pleased! They make learning to swim fun, this is not a throw your kid in the pool and hope they swim experience. The little kids sing songs and learn how to swim and get out of the pool safely. The instructors are phenomenal and do an amazing job with the children. The owners are awesome, the facility is extremely clean and everything is always being sanitized and they're following COVID-19 precautions. I couldn't ask for a better place for my children to learn how to swim.
