Love this gym! Awesome staff and array of quality machines. I always feel welcome as soon as I walk in the door. They have made a point of learning my name, and I like that. My only wish is for later hours on the weekends, until at least 9-10pm. Other than that, please don't change!

I have been working out here for over a year. The level of disrespect and unprofessionalism shown from the GM there to myself and other members makes this place worth less than a star rating. Instead of deescalating a situation, he pushes it further so that he can use his "authority" to bar members from the gym with little or no reason at all. The fact that a good amount of members walked out this evening shows that he needs to be better trained in dealing with the public or replaced with someone who has better communication and people skills. It is one thing to enforce the gym rules but another to single out those that he wants to enforce the rules on and make a spectacle of. I definitely do not recommend this gym just because is that kind of environment.

My wife joined Golds Gym... They went bankrupt. Doors were closed and apparently now we have CF Fitness. Our agreement was entered into with Gold Gym, not CF Fitness, we canceled our card and our membership in March. Today September 22nd we received a bill of 157 dollars and 67 cents in my account. CF Fitness was never authorized to bill my account. We entered into the agreement with Golds Gym not CF Fitness. The doors were closed we moved on. I want my money back. You are shameful to charge people under another name..As local business owner I will insure that everyone I come in contact with is aware of your business practices. Furthermore, the individual I was dealing with at the front desk referred to me as bro several times..I had to infirm him I was not his bro that I am a customer. It seems that CF Fitness has more issues than just stealing peoples money.

This has become my second home! I love that I feel welcome, the second my children and I walk in the door. There is more equipment than I know what to do with and it is always in working order. If you ever need help when you aren't sure how to use something, there is always someone willing to help. Their personal trainers are all well educated and friendly, I highly recommend working with one, because they will motivate you, educate you and push you beyond any limit you place for yourself. My children always love going to the Kiddy Gym. Every time we drive past the gym, and don't pull into the parking lot, they throw a fit. lol The ladies who take care of them are all very kind and look after them with their full attention. The management has always taken extra care to resolve any issue I have had and I always leave Fitness CF with a smile on my face. Thank you Fitness CF!

I'll start with the good. Large choice of machines, with multiple of almost everything. Plenty of cardio machines assorted in front of like 18 TVs in which you can tune into the one of your choice. Cardio theater allows you to watch a projected movie in a dark room with surround sound. Very cool. Sauna is large and almost too hot. Staff is courteous and willing to help.
The bad: Free weight areas are what's keeping this from a 5 star rating. I've been a member for a few weeks now, gone at all times of the day and not once have I seen the dumbbells where they are supposed to be on the racks. It is very frustrating walking around the other members trying to find the weights i need because they are no where close to where they are supposed to be. Half the spray bottles for cleaning the benches are either broken or empty. The plates are scattered throughout the area and there is no way to find what you're looking for without going to other machines. I have yet to see a SINGLE 35lbs plate since I've been going there. The cable/pully equipment squeals, to be heard over my music and I'm sure distracting others.

This gym has serious potential to be a 5 star if the staff would do a better job of maintaining the equipment and ensuring the weights stay organized and evenly distributed. Also, buy some 35lbs plates.

The equipment here is amazing, love the ladies private workout area . The group fitness instructors are the BEST in the area ! One less star because I do usually have to wear ear plugs due to the music in the group X classes being so loud though and the A/C needs to be cooler in these rooms . A great gym

Great place to work out. I've been a member for about a month and a half and couldn't be happier. Facility is clean, most if not all equipment is fully functional. If a machine is down for repair, it's fixed pretty quick. Locker room is clean and well kept. The staff are friendly and responsive to your needs and requests. They always greet you upon entry and exit of the facility. No issues at all with the facility or staff. You can't beat the accommodations for the prince either.

About 9 months ago I got one of those promotional flyers at home that said "Only 19.99 a month, no contract, you can cancel at anytime ", I showed it to the guy that was working that day and he assured me that the flyer was correct. Yesterday I went to cancel since my job transferred me to Tampa and the manager was called to tell me that I had a 12 months contract and if I wanted to cancel I needed to show prove of job transfer, write a letter and also pay a cancelation fee of $50. dollars. I was very disappointed, I explained to him my conversation about the flyer and all he could say was that I should had red that email sent to after I signed up. Poor way to manage. I will never go or recommend anyone to this place.

Some of the leg equipment could use some updating. The machines are out dated and the adjustments are loose on the quad extension machine and the hamstring curl machines. The layout could also use some adjustments, however, it's a pretty good facility overall.

I'm so amused reading the few one-star reviews by people who seem to be PMSing. The staff is ALWAYS phenomenal, including management. I'm always greeting with a smile and a welcome and said good-bye to when I leave. Any time I have to change my card or sign a friend up for a trial week, we're always helped willingly. If someone else is being helped, I always use this thing called patience and I wait my turn. The place is ALWAS clean. They wipe down and vacuum every day at their slowest time (which is about 2-3). Their selection of machines and weights is awesome. There is a room for "serious" people (free weight set ups), a room for females so they can feel comfortable, a middle area with two sets of every general machine and tons of cardio, and another area for the half serious people - like the serious area but on machines...like it's still to scary for me. Haha, but that's where most of the body-builders are. There is a yearly maintenance fee for improvements. They are always workin on cosmetics and also fixing the wear-n-tear on machines. They have multiple different packages for what you're looking for - like the base model for only using equipment, one that includes classes, one with trainers. I have been going here for two years now I believe. I passionately love this place. Don't listen to all the people whining about one little tiny thing that wasn't perfect enough for them. This place is awesome. 👌🏽

If your new years resolution is to be lied to about being able to enter this facility without signing the "terms and conditions" for their "automatically renewing" contract that you can only get out by written notice, or to try work out in a super crowded facility, or use a moldy smelling bathroom then this is the place for you! BEWARE!! DON"T GET SCAMMED INTO A CONTRACT!! I was told when I originally singed up that I was able to sign up for a month to month fee system. Since I was hit for $40 improvement fee, I wished to cancel (my fault for not reading everything). When I went into cancel I was informed that because I had agreed to the terms and conditions that I checked that I was entered into a contract. The manager was unable to find any contract disclosure paperwork (showing that I agreed to enter into a contract) anywhere other than a 12@ symbol. I was told there was nothing they could do and if I wanted out I had to pay a cancellation fee... I would recommend spending the $280 for your "fit only" on a piece of equipment for your home. I would also recommend looking into the employee wellness program at anytime fitness... BEST OF LUCK GETTING OUT OF YOUR CONTRACTS!!!

Love this Gym clean and well stocked with weights and machines for every type of workout. The staff are very helpful and always smiling , it can get busy at certain peak times but it just shows how popular a good gym can be . I definitely recommend this place.

My favorite gym for sure. I have been to Planet Fitness and LA Fitness, even the St Cloud and Dr Phillips Gold's, and I am much happier with this one.

The staff is amazing, some even know you by name, which I'm pretty sure is not a requirement, the upgrade and layout looks amazing and the atmosphere is great!

A good idea would be to invest in some rubber plates, 3 or 4 platforms for deadlifting in a area. Some people like to challenge themselves for growth and It sucks when employees have to tell you to calm down. The gym is therapy for some and we shouldn't be held back to make the gym appear better to others who think a gym is a spa.

Great gym, maybe even better then the Dr.Phillips location. Staff is very nice and they seem to be always cleaning and improving the gym. .The connected health store(3rd party) is a nice bonus although i think overpriced. All and all whatever your fitness goals are Golds have it pretty much covered! They even have really big hills outside the gym if you want to get some hill runs in, super rare for Florida. (For my wish list, better rowing machines like the ones Orange theory uses. Thanks!)

Nice gym, with nice equipment. I came from Polk County where Winter Haven has the best Gold's Gym hands down. They have a basketball court, racquetball court, huge cardio cinema and stays open 24/7. This is extremely accommodating for healthcare workers, Firefighters, Paramedics, and Law Enforcement employees who work shift work. It would be nice to get off at midnight or 2am and hit the gym before going home. With more gyms coming to the area that are open 24/7 and offer discounts and payroll deduction for hospital, county, and city employees you really need to reconsider your hours.

TAKE YOUR HARD WORKING MONEY ANYWHERE ELSE. Management at this Golds Gym is pathetic. After being at the Dr. Phillips Golds Gym for 2 years I had to transfer my membership to Clermont, where my family and I recently moved. When I went to visit for a tour, Torris was really rude and unprofessional. After that bad experience my husband and I left and I wrote Drew the GM an email about my recent visit. After telling me how much I owe he replied with "Misunderstanding Torris" and "I will address your concerns with him." I signed up my family at YMCA instead. Don't waste your money and time on a place with trashy management that doesn't care for their customers.

Called to complain about kids club that is unsafe, my child almost walked out of door because workers not paying attention, one time a baby was sleeping and a hard basketball hit him in his head by other giant kids playing there. also they don't honor their contract when I signed up for gold plus they said my 12 year old can workout for free as long as I signed waiver of which I did, now they are saying I have to pay 10 extra a month and they provided me with new contract!. beware of this private shady gym, if you call to complain to headquarters they will tell you they got nothing to do with it since it's privately owned.stay way , signed up with LA fitness in winter garden only 15 min from clermont not bad they are much nicer and cleaner.

This gym has great equipment and what an array. However, I don't get why it is kept at such a high temperature. I have never been there when it was cool. They must turn off the air at night and then it doesn't recover much, if at all. A member informed me that it's typically in the mid 70s. It's amazing that Publix ,Walmart and my home are so much cooler than this gym. I just can't imagine continuing with my membership. I'm spent after a very short time working out there. A few days I even had to leave way before I was finished. As far as cleanliness, it was very clean up until a few months back. The cloths don't seem to be changed too often, discouraging using them to clean the various machines. I asked for a clean towel once and the young girl at the front was so nasty. I guess cleanliness is not encouraged. This could be the perfect gym, if not for these issues. Yet, they are significant ones.

It is now several months since I composed the above. This gym did get a degree or two cooler but nothing to create a significant impact. In fact lately it feels as warm as it did initially prior to improving the temperature. I appreciate the attempt but it's not enough. Maybe with the new national chain fitness center coming to Clermont a more dramatic attempt will evolve in making this Gold's cooler and comfortable.

I would work out here either for $25 a month no start up fee and access to all the golds gyms in the area OR $15 a month only that gym and no start up fee. This gym is not near as nice enough for the cost that they ask. ive been places that have nicer gyms for cheaper with access to multiple locations and open 24 hours so you have no excuse to not go to the gym. Thieves target members at this gym for burglary in the locker rooms. This has been a repeat issue and Gold's response is to blame the victims and obstruct efforts to expose the thieves. One week after being the victim of one of these burglaries, I found a Gold's employee using bolt cutters to remove a member's lock, without his knowledge, while the member was on the gym floor training. Gold's. response to my inquiries regarding these crimes has been to revoke my membership. I was a victim of a crime and Gold's. main concern has been to protect their gym from culpability. It is obvious that Gold's Gym Clermont suspects, as I do, that one of their employees may be stealing from members.

If you want a secure place to train, Gold's GymClermont is not it.

The gym is fine but the womens Sauna is closed everyday at the same time for cleaning. 530am till after 7am making it impossible for early morning users to use this amenity. This was very disappointing to learn on my rest day. 2hrs wasted. 30 minutes driving here. 1 hr waiting on workout partner and 30 minutes driving back. Spoke with first desk and all he said is he would talk to his manager. I tried to email staff and it said mail undeliverable.

Seriously its not rocket science. Either clean it before opening or rotate schedule or clean it after closing.

We are not happy with this Gym but not because of anything on the part of the staff or the equipment. My husband and I are older and just find so many Barbell boys trying to show off.. The hours are limited. We like to work out at 6am on Saturdays and sometimes late on Friday nights. We are joining the Anytime fitness- 24/7 works better for our schedule. Moving from Arizona where so many of the gyms have a 24/7 area that has a separate entrance makes it so convenient.

I enjoy working out at Gold's in Clermont FL. My only suggestion would be to replace cloths used to wiped down equipment to paper towels. If you ever took a microbiology class you understand after the first use of cloth it is contaminated. I cringe at the thought of handling them so I don't. Using paper towels to wipe down equipment and immediately throwing it away is the best way to eliminate germs. Please change to paper towels.

It is a super friendly atmosphere! Never had a problem at this gym. I train with Jess and she is always motivating me, pushing me to my limits, and I never leave the gym not feeling good. She is a great trainer and anyone that has a chance to do a workout with her should!

I've been using the Clermont Gold's Gym for over two years. The staff has been great! I get a very friendly reception when I enter and a friendly parting when I leave. I take the Body Flow classes and enjoy them all especially the classes given by May. She's a natural. Cyndi's yoga class is also great.

Great gym! Love the classes! All of the instructors have been very helpful and motivating. Everyone has been great but Joy is my favorite and I make a point to take her classes as much as possible.
The only thing that would make it better would be keep it a little cooler but I know that's a huge task for such an enormous building.
The front desk staff always greet each client as they come in and as they leave.

This is a great gym to come work out at. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I have been going here for a couple of years now and I just started there Crossfit Extinction class a few months ago, the trainer's Brian and Philip are well organized and make sure people are doing the moves in the proper form. They make sure everyone is motivated and ready to work out, they will also tailor the work out to you if you can not complete said task. I would recommend the Clermont Golds Gym and the Crossfit Extinction to anyone who is looking to get into great shape and have a great time doing it.

I've been attending Clermont Gold's Gym for about a year now. I enjoy the Silver Sneakers groups the instructors are all caring. I use the cardio equipment and TRX. My wife has been with her trainer John Lodrago for about 2 years he has done a transformation with her I can hardly believe. Not only does he train her but he has given me tips on how to improve my posture and body ailgnment.
