Went to try to do a day trial to see what it was all about a few months ago and the front desk guy was extremely rude and said I couldn’t since I wasnt a resident even though I live here full time. Insulting to my time and person and their prices are also egregiously high for a mediocre gym. Better off going to amped or crunch. $500 for a whole year… it’s Daytona beach not Miami or San Francisco

I am very thankful I started coming to this gym. This place has everything I could want; space, equipment diversity and an amazing staff. I have to give a big shoutout to Slade. He has been a huge blessing since I started coming to Gold's. There has been quite a few times I couldn't find equipment and went and asked him if he had any idea where I could find it. Every time a couple minutes later he comes back with the item I was looking for. On top of his locator skills he has spent time teaching me different workouts. I have learned a lot from him and thankful for the time he has spent. If you are lucky you will get to see him do some crazy stuff! The whole staff here is awesome & friendly. I don't know all the employees names but Noah is always very friendly and Ashley always has the biggest smile when you come in! 10 out of 10!

I ended up buying an entire year upfront because I was so impressed with this Gold’s Gym. From day one, the staff has been the most courteous and helpful I’ve ever experienced at any gym—they genuinely go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

The facility itself is outstanding. They have a dedicated glute and weightlifting room that offers a bit of privacy (such a nice touch!), plus a full gymnastics room and three separate studios for Zumba, Peloton, and even bodybuilding posing practice.

The cardio section upstairs is perfectly laid out, and the gym has the ideal balance of dumbbells and machines, so you never feel like you’re waiting around.

And the smoothies? Absolute game-changers. The fact that they still make natural protein shakes (and they taste amazing) is something you rarely find in gyms anymore.

Honestly, Gold’s Gym has thought of everything—it feels like they designed this place with their members in mind. Highly recommend!

I dropped in at 5am while in town. Sharon at the front desk was an absolute dream. Its rare even in the gym to find employees whos passion for health and fitness outweighs a early morning needy out of towner 😆. I had a good experience using a free day pass here. The front desk guy was helpful, and he provided all the information I needed. For anyone wondering, a day pass is $25 and a week pass is $60. The guest pass process was easy. I just signed up online, signed a waiver when I arrived, and they got me set up right away. The gym was clean and well-maintained, though the equipment is getting a bit older and the space isn’t huge. Overall, it was a smooth visit.

I visited this location once on a business trip last week. The day pass is soooooo incredibly overpriced, nearly $28 for a single day. The front desk people were polite and the place was relatively clean but the equipment layout is so bizarre. There is a strip of turf running through the middle of all of the machines, so you end up dodging people to go grab the sanitizing spray or moving to a different machine. Overpriced and under thought-out.

I usually have a good experience at this gym. But this is the first time I was gonna start taking classes. I called 2 hours ago to confirm. There was going to be a Yoga class when I arrived. There was no Yoga instructor and nobody else was showing up for Yoga and 5 people at the front desk said they don't know what happened and sometimes instructors just don't show up. So when I asked who the manager was they said there is no manager tonight. Very unprofessional. I drove 40 minutes and planned my evening around this and no one knows what's going on.

I didn't really go there to use the gym though the staff was very pleasant and very helpful. I had a Zumba jam session with a Zumba instructor. While I was there for the class to start, I walked around and the first thing I noticed was no typical smell of a gym. It was clean. In light of a recent arrest at gold gym I have to share my experience at golds gym.
THIS GYM IS NOT A SAFE PLACE FOR CHILDREN OR BABIES.
I wondered why they didn't have any babies I even asked the child care workers and they said that they haven't had babies in some time.
From my experience this is why.
My first day going to the gym after signing up for a monthly membership I tried to hand over my baby to the two workers there and they both looked at eachother not wanting to take my boy.."Oh no you got it to the other" and the other shook her head.
Like they never held nor took care of a baby before..
First off . Unprofessional.
Finally one of them hesitantly took my baby......
That threw me OFF. And made me SO nervous leaving my baby who can't talk nor fend for themselves in there care even though I was in the same building.
This of course kept me from working out the hr I was aloud for my infant care. ( which was never explained nor told to me by any staff that KNEW I would be taking my children and my infant with me.)
What was also never mentioned was that there are specific times that you are able to bring children in which always clashed with my schedule.
We brought this up to them and they refused to cancel or refund anything for us.
I felt not only tricked but lied to just so we can get on a contract.
Then come to find out and ALREADY CONVICTED PREDATOR WORKS THERE RECORDING WOMEN WORKING OUT..
Who we had encounters with..
Y'all REALLY dropped the ball on safety and for what? The money?
When i went to go pick up my children's from there kid care one of my kids told me that the two workers there kept telling the kids not to change or do certain things on the Playstation like alter the character appearances or play certain things.
Ridiculous...didn't realize this is your home.
This is child care let them kids play how they want on the Playstation.
You have literal children watching kids..
Bear and a darker tall girl, (didn't get her name).
Knowing what I know now I'm glad we mever went back.
My kids safety is priority.
I still want my account cleaned up of all the fees and refund.
You all put my kids at risk of harm not only by 1 staff but 3!

I visit Gold's Gym in Daytona a few times a year when I'm in town visiting. The day pass rate is reasonable and they also sell a weekly pass. The gym is large. Equipment plentiful. Never feels crowded. All you need to get in a good workout. I didn't give it 5 stars because -- Is there a bottle filler? I can never find one and seems like any gym should have one. And would love to see a Bella/ladies bar at the weight racks (35 lb shorter bar). Employees working at the front desk are GREAT.

This gym is starting to feel like family. I love it here. In Daytona the staff is awesome. Kristen, Akiim, Slade, Brock, Jonathan, and the others make me feel like family. They have changed the dynamic at the front desk and make people feel seen. I used to be part of a social gym and it’s starting to feel like that. I would suggest a bidet sprayer or two in some of the bathroom stalls, but other than that, the facility is great. The equipment is cool, although the stair masters seem to need some maintenance. I love coming here. 10/10 recommend.

The GM Chris was so kind & helpful! He got me signed up in less than 10 minutes & answered any questions I had. Was mad nervous because I don’t know much about working out & I’m not in the best shape but he made me feel very comfortable :) Plenty of equipment & even a complimentary kids club . Should have joined sooner!

I recently joined Gold's Gym and have been really pleased with my experience so far. The facilities are great and the staff is friendly and helpful. The general manager, Chris, has been especially helpful and goes out of his way to make sure all members are happy. I'm really happy with my decision to join Gold's Gym and would highly recommend it to others.

The General Manager, Chris is so awesome! He motivated my friends & I to take more workout classes. He also informed us about new classes starting up that would benefit our workout goals. He is always very approachable & personable every time we see him!
