My hisband and I stopped in for a workout while we were in town. Loved the gym, employees and members we got a chance to speak with. The volume and variety of equipment was wonderful and well mantained. The pro shop with supplements and merch with a shake bar was also very nice. We also had a chuckle at the signs reading that they will charge $25 per incident of not reracking weights. That should be standard everywhere! ☺️❤️💪🏾

My experience at Gold’s Gym Ocala was very disappointing. When I first signed up, I was charged a $50 sign-up fee, which I thought was fine at the time. However, two months later, I was hit with another $60 fee on top of my regular payment that was never clearly explained to me when I joined. The staff didn’t mention that there would be a yearly charge after 60 days, and they make it difficult to understand what you’re agreeing to on the small checkout screen.

I ended up cancelling my membership immediately because of the constant, ridiculous fees they keep adding each month. To make matters worse, I’ve had family members who also signed up and weren’t told they were entering a 12-month contract because the associates didn’t clearly explain it.

Overall, this gym has poor communication and misleading billing practices. Be very careful and read every detail before signing anything, or you might end up paying way more than you expect.

What a GREAT gym!
Golds Gym in Ocala is such a great place to workout, relax, and recover.
The facility is great and the service is great.
Helen is absolutely AMAZING. She always treats everyone like they're the only customer their. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. It is such a pleasure working with her.
Helen is very professional, knowledgeable, kind, patient and all around fantastic.

Before I sat joined, Emmanuel gave me a tour of the gym. He was also very professional, very knowledgeable, very patient, and made sure that I saw everything and made sure to answer all of my questions. He's also a trainer.

The gym itself is great. It is very clean, has great machines, great classes, Great sauna.
And then it has a recovery room with red light therapy, excellent full body massage chairs, massage beds, theragons, tanning bed, etc. Just an all-around excellent gym.

I love the gym. It is always clean and the staff is always welcoming. One suggestion is the gym needs to have a one day pass for visitors from out of town. When my grandson came to visit me from Indiana I wanted to show off my gym. When we arrived I was told it would cost $17 for him to work out with me for one day. As a customer service I believe it would be nice to allow us to bring an out of town guest for free for one visit. Maybe when he goes back to Indiana he would want to join a Gold's gym there.

Spending the horse show season in Ocala, I was able to join Ocala Gold’s for those three months. I loved going here after my rides. Desk staff was always polite, equipment clean and plentiful. Locker, sauna and shower area modern, bright and clean. I just do a 30-minute dumbbell strength routine on YouTube with my phone and earbuds. No one ever bothered me— polite smiles and hellos from other gym goers. Only negative is they have low quality hair dryers and only one that worked. Playlist over the speakers was mostly rap… and it got annoyingly repetitive. At least for me.

I'm a petite senior and try to keep active. The machines can be set for my height and the resistance can be set for my own personal needs and ability. People are friendly and we are all responsible for wiping down the equipment when we are finished using it and it appears everyone complies with the rule, which makes me feel more comfortable with sharing the equipment.

As 55 year old man that has been in and out of gyms all my life I have to be honest. I was a member years ago in Henderson NV and loved it. Now I live in Wildwood Fl and drive 30 minutes to train at your gym on a day pass. I would become a member but the monthly fee is a bit to much for my wallet. I might visit twice a month.
