My son Jordan participated in the 2025 8-week Perform First Summer Performance Program at Ground Force Training, and it was a fantastic experience. James Welsh and his staff was incredibly attentive and engaged with each athlete, ensuring proper technique while also explaining the “why” behind every movement. The program focused on strength, speed, power, and movement efficiency — all essential components for athletic development — and James and team delivered on every front. His ability to coach in a way that connects with young athletes, while pushing them to improve, truly sets him apart. I had been trying to get stronger by going to the gym, but I just kept hurting myself. I told James my goals and over the course of several months not only did I gain strength, but I gained confidence. I had injured my back and shoulder, and now I am not having those issues at all. I’m even improving at my other activities. I would definitely recommend the adult program for anyone who wants to move better and get stronger. I’ve worked with other trainers before but this program is different. 10 out of 10.

Hey James, this is Ciara's dad, Cameron. Just wanted to give a heads up on Ciara's physical/weight evaulation by the FAU trainers. She did EXTREMELY well. Lot of the exercises you work with ciara were used: the one leg hops side to side, hand strength grips, and a few others. She mentioned those two and the trainer was blown away. Thanks for you work over the summer with her. She is adjusting really good at FAU.

My daughter was in town for the month of June doing some speciality sport training. Ground Force assessed, evaluated and provided a customized supplemental workout regiment very quickly. Coach Walsh and the ground force team helped me to make a complete recovery from my acl injury. Coach Walsh was able to set me up with specific workouts in order to quicken my recovery and get me back into playing shape. Walsh and the ground force team have workouts for beginners to professional athletes. No matter the age or level, ground force will set you straight and create the best plan for you. I’ve been working with ground force for about a week and a half, what I can say is the trainers are amazing not only do they help you through your journey they explain every workout you would be doing as well as what parts in your body the workout will activate. My man Brandon Dayao one of the best trainers and hype man out there really informing as well as a motivator while he makes you feel a new type of pain. Richard Schnitzler is also a trainer but mainly focuses on the next generation getting them active, real easygoing guy. This program is legit, best in the field 🙏🏾

We were looking for someone to target my son’s areas of improvement after suffering an ACL tear and broken ankle over the past two years. Coach Walsh has helped my son with rehabbing his often injured knee as well as guiding my son to great results over the summer with his overall athleticism.

Coach spends the time to individualize how program to meet the individual goals of each athlete. It was not a one size fits all. He took the time to understand the goals of my son, understood the medical concerns and really worked and adjusted the plan accordingly. Great results in a summer.

When i first walked in i Could barely do a quarter squat without knee pain

The BEST deep tissue massage I’ve ever had! Jennifer was awesome. She asked questions regarding my therapy needs and LISTENED so that she could provide the correct treatment plan. Our daughter Madison did the volleyball strength and conditioning at BJS! Coach Walsh was amazing with these girls! At she didn’t care for it because it was “too hard” but soon after she really enjoyed it. Her energy levels went up and she started getting excited. about her volleyball exercises she had to do!
