I’ve been training with Alu for about seven months, meeting weekly with additional programmed “homework” sessions to complement our in-person work. Alu truly listens and has built a customized plan around my goals while working within my limitations. She’s helped me identify areas of mobility that need improvement and created a plan to address some long-standing shoulder issues. We have periodic check-ins to re-evaluate these goals and monitor progress.
I suspect I’m one of her more challenging clients—every week I seem to bring her a new ache or pain—but she’s always quick to adapt my program to accommodate. It’s clear that she genuinely cares, regularly checking in between sessions to see how I’m feeling and how any pains are progressing. Alu’s attention, adaptability, and expertise have helped me move toward my goals while also teaching me how to manage and relieve the inevitable aches and pains along the way.
I started as a client and gained a friend.

Alu is helping me strengthen areas that have been causing me pain for years. Her assessments, stretches, and exercises are unique to anything I've done before and she always follows up to see how I'm feeling after each class. I'm super thankful for her knowledge and feedback, and am already starting to feel better after 4 sessions. :)

Alu is one of the best trainers I have ever been around! She taught me kipping hand stand push ups, bar muscle ups, and rope climbs. Most importantly taught me mobility stretches and exercises to keep me from getting injured. When I started I had some shoulder issues and now no pain.

Alu is not just another personal trainer! She is trained in body mechanics and movement at a high level and brings years of experience to her training clients. I’ve been working with her for over 6 months now and made huge improvements in things I’ve been working on for years!! As a health professional, I trust Alu with not only my health and wellness, but refer people to her all the time knowing they are in the most capable hands, whether healing an injury, improving their technique, or just starting their health journey. I’ve only been working with Alu for a short time. But in that short time I have already gained so much!
I’ve worked with “trainers” before but Alu is so much more.
I unfortunately have arthritis everywhere in my body. Which has caused many injuries and eventually surgeries. Living in pain with zero mobility isn’t living. Finding it hard to take care of day to day tasks.
I had just about given up any hope.
Alu takes a totally different approach from anyone I’ve worked with before. Our first evaluation we discussed all aspects of what I was hoping to achieve and whether it was attainable.
She assesses and analyzes your body and movement. As well as your mindset!
She also helped me with my nutrition. Teaching me the right combinations of foods to help cut down on my inflammation has been key.
I am so grateful to work with her and finally feel like I’m getting my life back!!

I have been training with Alu for a little over a year now and would 10/10 recommend for anyone looking to grow in their fitness, recovery, or health journey! I started working with her after my pregnancy to ease back into working out and get my mobility back to a place where I felt comfortable doing CrossFit workouts again. I’ve been blown away by how knowledgeable she is about the body and making modifications. After she did a 1:1 session to assess my capabilities/limitations we were able to focus on areas that have fully gotten me back to CrossFit. She’s exceeded my expectations not only as my trainer but also as a mentor in life, and has helped me with my nutrition. I’ve always struggled with this aspect, and she has a unique way of truly assessing and getting to know her clients so she can tailor the experience. I’ve always been an all or nothing type of person but with Alu’s help I’ve been able to learn to make small changes in my habits to support my long term health. I look forward to our sessions where I can not only workout but also connect with such a genuinely great person. Alu has a great heart and if you’re looking for a personal trainer that can do it ALL from a post pregnancy nightmare to high level CrossFit athletes - she’s your person!
