A boxing and Muay Thai gym with the tagline “beautiful violence” might sound intimidating, right? Probably not the place for a nervous beginner? Maybe too advanced for someone who’s never taken a punch to the face?
That’s what I thought too, and I was wrong. Six months ago, I walked in as a complete beginner, and it turned out to be the best decision I could have made.
Heavy Hands is an incredible gym filled with thoughtful, passionate, and welcoming people who push each other to improve. There are no egos here, no bullies waiting to pound your face in. Instead, you’ll find a supportive environment where members get fitter, develop real combat skills, and have fun along the way. Whether you are training as a hobby or chasing competition, you’ll find the encouragement and community you need.
Coach Jordan is second to none. He treats every member with respect and takes the time to personally correct technique so everyone can grow and improve. Whether you are a seasoned fighter or stepping onto the mats for the first time, you’ll receive the same level of attention and guidance.
They also run a Saturday morning class for kids, and my son and daughter count down the days each week. They learn self-defense, but just as important, Coach Jordan teaches them lessons about confidence, perseverance, and character.
For me, it’s the best part of my week, and it could be the best part of yours too.

There honestly aren’t enough words to describe what Heavy Hands has become to me. What started out as a cool way to exercise quickly became a group of people I can’t imagine doing life without. Coach Jordan is not only incredible at teaching Muay Thai, but he’s also incredible at building an environment that does so much more than just build physical strength. Every single time I leave the gym, I leave a better person than when I walked in. Stronger in body and mind. The community being built here is irreplaceable and I couldn’t be more proud to be part of the Heavy Hands family. This is my second home.

I love the positive, welcoming environment you get as soon as you walk in the door. Jordan is very smart and skilled in Muay Thai. I appreciated how he helped critique me on an individual level and encourages constant development/ improvement out of everyone. I was pleased by the added bonus of Showers, ice bath, and conditioning equiptment available. As well as the fact that they have group running 🏃♀️

Heavy Hands is a great environment if you are looking to be trained by an experienced professional in the craft of Muay Thai, or boxing. You are welcome at any level or experience. If you are looking to sharpen your skills or just get in a good sweat. My son is 15 years old & he absolutely loves the gym as much as I do in my 40s. It has a great family feel with a positive environment for young men, women, and us old guys!

I can’t say enough great things about this Muay Thai gym! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by both the staff and the incredible gym community. The atmosphere is super positive and motivating—everyone here genuinely pushes and encourages each other to improve, no matter your skill level.
The coach is truly top-notch. Their knowledge and expertise in Muay Thai are second to none, and they’re amazing at breaking down techniques in a way that’s easy to understand and apply. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned fighter, the coach tailors their approach to help you grow and refine your skills.
The facility itself is excellent—well-equipped with everything you need for effective training, from heavy bags to pads, gloves, and even a ring. It’s clean, spacious, and clearly designed with fighters in mind.
What really sets this gym apart is the sense of community. Everyone here is friendly, supportive, and committed to helping each other succeed. It doesn’t matter where you’re starting from; this is a place where you can challenge yourself, build confidence, and become the best version of yourself.
If you're looking for a Muay Thai gym where you’ll get expert coaching, top-notch facilities, and a team that feels like family, this is the place to be! Highly recommended!

My experience has been terrific. Being new to boxing, they are understanding, kind, work with you, with no judgement. I watch them with younger generation where they make awesome role models, teaching respect and kindness. It’s great fun and the experience is yours to develop or make it what you want.

My son started Muay Thai at Heavy Hands when his quad wasn’t responding appropriately after knee surgery. He had gone through three months of PT. But it wasn’t until he went to Heavy Hands that his leg started to respond. He loves this place. He tries to go four nights per week and gets mad if I can’t get him there on one of the nights. There are plenty of people to train with from adults to kids, male and female. The gym is great. You can’t do better.

What an amazing experience starting with heavy hands has been. I am a business owner and find myself stressing out and getting caught up in work. I have been an athlete my whole life but lost motivation with all training and athletic movement due to the typical stressors that any business owner knows. I went out of my comfort zone, having no experience with martial arts, and spoke with Jordan about what I was dealing with and what I was looking for. After our consultation he offered me a free class to try it and see how I feel after. That was all I needed to be hooked. These classes are amazing, the group is great and encouraging, and the instruction from Jordan is second to none. Starting this journey has made such a positive impact on my life in so many ways. I feel better, I’m moving better, getting in better shape, and according to my staff, I’m a lot nicer so I guess it has helped with stress too haha.

The “Founder” of HH clearly led with his heart instead of looking to make a quick buck. I feel a degree of comfort at the classes, the same way I feel playing “Can-Jam” with friends.
But the “technical” knowledge Jordan tosses out during classes “step with every punch” are Just the right amount of corrections to add, without making someone feel defeated. I’ve been looking for a gym like this for decades. Then it was hard to believe that one of this caliber would open up within a mile of my house. I love the place.
