The experience felt at this studio is hard to put into words, but I think that is often how the most fulfilling experiences are. I started yoga as a hobby, since then, yoga has turned into the wind behind my sails for personal healing. At Horizon House, not only are the flows led by wonderful, experienced instructors, but the opportunity of being guided through a dive into my own personal and spiritual growth has been the most rewarding experience. The way Shelly, Sara, and the other instructors deliver yogic philosophy has felt like the ancestral knowledge I had not known I needed that showed up in just the way it was supposed to. I highly recommend this studio!

In a large vaulted space, walls disappear. There’s a breeze, there is love, there is laughter, birdsong and of course, there is Yoga. You come for the Yoga. You stay because you’ve come home.
Welcome to Horizon House. Welcome Home✨💖🙏🏻💖✨

I had a truly wonderful experience at Horizon House Yoga. The space where you practice is partially covered but open on both sides, which creates this perfect blend of shelter and nature. You can hear birds singing during meditation, and the view of the surrounding garden adds a really earthy, grounded feel to the whole session.
The air is just... right. Not cold, not warm, not hot—just naturally comfortable. It felt like the environment itself was helping me relax and be present. This is the kind of place where you feel connected—to your breath, to the earth, and to the moment. I’ll definitely be back!

This yoga studio has become one of my favorite places to be in the Daytona-Ormond Beach area. Shelly puts her heart and soul into the studio and it shows. It's a supportive, inclusive, and welcoming environment. There are a variety of fantastic teachers, providing a wide range of teaching styles and personalities in one place. Classes range from restorative/yin to intense vinyasa flows and everything in between. I ALWAYS leave feeling better than when I came in. Another plus is when I travel for work I can sign up for the class on Zoom, which is convenient.

Just over a year ago I walked in the doors at horizon house yoga and instantly felt a sense of connection. Kind of like I was missing something I didn't even know I was missing...
Yoga has been one of the greatest gifts in my life and I've recently completed my 200 hour teacher training program.
I have no idea where I'm headed, but I love the journey so far.
Maybe I'll see you in a beginner's class or Vinyasa.

I was very hesitant to even visit Horizon House. I am out of my element with yoga, it's not something I've practiced, I've also gained a lot of weight the last few years. As a result, I had some insecurities and made me nervous to visit Horizon House. However, looking at the website and Facebook post, I knew that I wanted to try HH in particular because the wholistic approach appeals to me. I'm starting to recognize the benefits and need of meditation and yoga (for the mental and physical benefits). I worked up the courage to try a class. The moment I walked in the door, I smiled and felt more relaxed. The atmosphere is inviting, and cozy. After talking with the yoga instructor and letting her know how I was feeling, I felt immediately welcomed by her. Then, once others started coming in, they approached me to say hi, and had actual conversations with me. I didn't feel like an outsider at all. As far as the actual class, now that I've done a few, I love that the instructor and other members encourage you to honor YOUR body and ability and to do what feels comfortable. I'm reminded that my body and mind will change as I start practicing. It is encouraging because I don't feel down on myself for what I can't do, rather I feel encouraged and supported for showing up, for what I can do, and encouraged that as time progresses so will my abilities.
I absolutely love my expertise at Horizon House thus far, so much so, that I've secured a monthly membership.

It's a very welcoming atmosphere. You can also tell pride/care is taken to keep the facility well-maintained and updated. The instructors are knowledgeable but not unapproachable. Class schedules make it where you can regularly attend even if you're working full time. Technology is effectively used both in person in the studio as well as with virtual sessions.

Shelly K at Horizon House Yoga has created a one-of-a-kind comfortable and powerful studio for anyone to start, continue, or further their yoga journey.
Encouragement and informative, clear instructions are received in not only the classes Shelly teaches but in all the classes offered.
This is the first studio I’ve been in that I have felt encouraged and guided to use my props properly in the poses I need them in while other students are just as encouraged and guided to go into the full expression of a pose. Shelly is an amazing teacher that makes you feel like anything is possible!
Insight from educational classes offered is woven into yoga classes which I really appreciate. I love leaving more informed not only about my physical yoga practice but my spiritual practice as well.
Horizon House Yoga is a beautiful, unique, well rounded, and well-loved studio.

Horizon House Yoga is THE place to be! A beautiful and soulful studio that has helped me evolve my practice, both physically and spiritually. The owner, Shelly is a deeply spiritual person and blessed with an intuition that is spot on. She selflessly gives herself up, be it the teacher’s training program or if she is teaching a class or if she is just sitting and listening to you with undivided attention. She has pushed me above and beyond what I thought I was capable of, taking me out of my comfort zone and for that I will always be grateful to her.
I have made friends for life in this space! I highly recommend this studio to anyone who is looking to practice yoga in it's true sense 😊

My actual name is Ekaterina Simatos (everyone in the studio call me Kat) and I have this amazing opportunity to take 200 hour yoga teachers program, here, at Horizon House Yoga studio with Shelly Kwiatkouski. It has been an eye opening experience for me in regards to yoga as practice and philosophy. I’ve been practicing Yoga for almost 20 years (on and off) but I never realized how much i did not know about this art until I stepped my foot in this studio. The atmosphere, the settings are just charming and incredibly welcoming, and the knowledge of the teacher, Shelly, is profound in every possible way. Shelly is truly devoted to what she does, and, the way i see it, yoga has been not only her lifestyle and her business, it is her soul calling. I have been positively challenged as never before through my yoga training with her, Not only she helped me to identify the strength and weaknesses of my physical body, she was able to correctly pinpoint the source of my emotional and psychological imbalances, and what i need to work on to grow as a yoga teacher. Shelly is a very dedicated yogee — and it is simply contagious. It emanates through her spiritual teachings, her daily meditation, her yoga practices, her genuine care for students, and much more. She is sometimes tough indeed, but it all designed for our own good, our personal grow and development, and ,ultimately, for our Healing ❤️🩹 (literally Shelly employs ancient practices of natural HEALING). I was told that many of her students were able to regain their health without submitting to our modern medical system. She has a wonderful team of other amazing yoga teachers who are assisting her on her journey. Horizon House Yoga studio Is the cozy place to be in for all the levels - beginners, intermediate, and advanced - as one big family. I would highly recommend it to everyone passionate about yoga as a whole. I am grateful

I originally came to Horizon House for meditation and have stayed for meditation, yoga and so much more. In finding Horizon House Yoga, I have found a whole new part of myself. My practice and understanding of yoga have evolved with expert guidance from Shelly. Using her intuition and expertise, she has helped me tap into practices and experiences I never imagined were available to me. Shelly always seems to know just what I need! The options for in studio or zoom classes have allowed me to be consistent with my practice no matter what life throws at me. I have been welcomed into a supportive yoga community by Shelly, her teachers and the lovely people who practice at Horizon House. I have found peace for my body, my mind and my spirit. I love this place and these people and I highly recommend Horizon House Yoga!

Horizon House Yoga is much more than a yoga studio or health club; it is a special community where each person who walks through the door is made to feel welcome and at home. Studio owner, Shelly Kwiatkouski has created a unique, friendly, comfortable, and comforting space for students of all ages, abilities, and walks of life to learn and practice asana, explore and experience meditation, to gather together and expand our horizons. She is indeed a master of her craft.
Shelly is a thoughtful guide and master teacher who wholeheartedly focuses on the needs of her students. She opens the doors to the local community with inspiring programs and events that meet a wide range of interests, and are designed to bring people together. Shelly continues to evolve as a teacher, refining her craft and softening her delivery of instruction. Shelly teaches from the heart.
After practicing with Shelly for 16 years, I continue to be amazed at the breadth and depth of her knowledge of the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga. Each class I take, whether it be Beginner’s Flow, a challenging Core class, or relaxing in Yin, I learn something new. Shelly injects creativity and passion into each of her flows. She encourages students to use props and modifications and offers adjustments which allow students to access poses safely and feel supported. In addition to weekly scheduled classes, Shelly’s life-changing workshops and Yoga Teacher Training programs inspire significant personal growth. Each one of the teachers at Horizon House have studied under Shelly and embrace the same student-centered philosophy. We love yoga and we want you to love it as much as we do. Give us a try.

I started at Horizon House Yoga about a year ago and I never thought that one Sunday of attending meditation and Soulful Sunday Vinyasa flow would change my world forever.
I am a professional ballet dancer and dance teacher and I am used to manipulating my body through movements, but have never experienced an actual yoga class until I walked into Horizon House.
From my first class I was immediately inspired by Shelly’s energy and spiritual knowledge. Her Vinyasa class was challenging but not overwhelming and the environment at the studio was warm and welcoming. It was nothing like ballet and everything my body and soul needed.
It wasn’t long before I dove in head first and began my 200 hour teaching certification program. Everyone said when I signed up that it would be life changing… and they were right!!
My experience at HH so far has changed me from the inside out. In the past year I have grown spiritually, mentally, and physically in ways I can’t even describe. I’ve become a better dancer, a more effective teacher and a stronger person in general.
Shelly is amazing at what she does and has the the most infectious energy it’s hard to stay away. Her knowledge seems endless and her passion for the practice shines through her. I am so blessed to have met this cool family of awesome human beings and I hope to be a part of the HH family for many years to come!

I started at Horizon House Yoga 9 years ago. It is a dynamic and beautiful place. Whatever it is I need on a particular day (a challenging workout, community support, or just to rest and find a moment of peace), I can always find it here. Shelly teaches from her heart and welcomes everyone with open arms. Her knowledge of modifications helps me feel comfortable no matter the pose. The support offered here helps me both on and off my mat.

Shelly is an amazing teacher! I thoroughly enjoy her yoga lessons, both private and group. I highly recommend Horizon House* Yoga for both beginner and advanced yogis! She also offers various special events (including, but not limited to) crystal bowl singing, meditation, a healing festival and other various yoga workshops. She introduced a relatively new class at the studio - Core Flow at 8:30am, followed by a yin class at 9:30am on Saturdays. She led me through my 200hrs Teachers Training, which was an unforgettable and enlightening experience.

Being at Shelly's studio makes me feel more grounded and she is one of the most authentic teachers I have ever had for over 10 years in my yoga practice! It truly is a practice, not only for the physical self, but also for the inner self. We can share our laughters as well as stories of pain because all is welcomed. The flow of each class that I have attended had been inspirational and Shelly always uses amazing background music. After the class and leaving the studio, I look forward to coming back for the next one! Thank you, Shelly, for everything you do for our community!!! :)

The complete package! If you are looking for high quality and knowledgable teachers, this is the place. Take classes and learn from the best. Studio is welcoming and clean. I signed up for Teachers Training after just 1 class with Shelly! I did both the 200 and 300 hour training with Shelly and I learned so much about anatomy, history of yoga, and my own story. Learn about yourself through their other offerings like astrology, reiki and psychic mediumship too. Great people and friends to last a lifetime(s).

I have been practicing yoga at this studio for over six years. I have learned so much about my body and how to improve the way it works. I have overcome plantar fasciitis, a broken wrist, and a torn hamstring tendon. I’ve also been able to manage my arthritis and my flexibility limitations. Shelly, Betia, Kate and Jami are my current teachers and each have their own style and specialties. I’ve learned a lot from them all and I’m now participating in the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program to become a certified yoga teacher, myself. I believe that this is an incredible healing practice and I’m excited about helping others. This studio is innovative, welcoming snd supportive and embraces all levels of practitioners.

I feel so blessed to have found HHYoga, Shelly, and all the other Yogi’s that make this such a unique studio. From the minute I walked in, I felt welcome. I knew this was going to be a wonderful experience. Shelly has decorated the studio in a warm and inviting way. Shelly offers mental, physical, and spiritual aspects to her classes. I have never experienced the use of the gongs which HHYoga also offers and brings yoga to another level. I am not a local but if I was I would fully take advantage of all Shelly’s studio has to offer such as sound baths, detox, and beading. This is a unique studio which could easily be your new yoga home.

I decided to give yoga a try at the end of 2020 because I felt that my lack of flexibility would become an issue as I aged. Less than a year later, I can honestly say that I am a physically, emotionally, spiritually and compassionately better version of myself, thanks to Shelly and the safe, warm, welcoming studio that she has lovingly created.

I began my yoga practice in November of 2008 with Shelly K. and HH Yoga. I was experiencing a great deal of trauma in my life and, this place, the people, practice, and passion saved me.
Shelly is a healer and has an uncanny ability to understand exactly what you need, can handle, and will survive. I didn't always feel she "had my back!" Sometimes it seemed she'd push too hard or, she felt almost militant.
In hindsight, she offered me the ability to push myself and calm my mind.
I've heard her described like the Beetle's song "Blackbird". I believe the analogy of "take these broken wings and learns to fly."
She heals broken souls so they may move on. i.e. (fly).
She is a healer in every way.
She heals you and sends you off to experience life at its fullest.
The community is filled with students, teachers, studio owners, and revived souls whom she has selflessly shared her passion of yoga's healing and life altering experiences with. She gives to all and, the ones willing to accept it's therapeutic benefits will be better for it.
I highly recommend HHY and Shelly K. to anyone willing to open their life to a spectacular experience. ❤️

This is the ideal studio for anyone from beginner to advanced. The music is great, the vinyasa flows are so fun and creative, and the yin classes are super chill. Teachers at hot house have a deep understanding of alignment and will give assists and help make adjustments, helping to avoid injury or fatigue. If you want to push your practice to the next level, this is the place to go. Note: Arm balances are not the goal.... but they're pretty damn fun and if you want a chance to practice them, this is the place to go. Namaste friends!

I was drawn to this studio in 2016, and I've been going ever since. As my practice became more regular, I found myself wanting to learn more about yoga. I began to attend workshops, which break down the technicalities of the practice. I have been able to grow and take my yoga practice to the next level thanks to being a student at H.H. Yoga. In 2018, I completed the 200-hr YA Teacher's Training. It changed my life for the better. The benefits of this teacher's training have had a positive impact on all parts of my life. I learned to accept myself for where I'm at in this moment, both on and off my mat. I have grown to love self-exploration, and I decided to continue this through the advanced 300-hr YA Teacher's Training in 2019. I am forever grateful for the lessons that I have learned at this studio. I invite everyone to join us, and experience this shift for yourself.

Hot House Yoga has been a staple in the Ormond Beach Community for as long as I can remember. The new location is warm and inviting, with a unique aesthetic incorporating natural elements and the opportunity to practice just steps from nature. Hearing the birds chirp in the morning and the wind blow thru the trees takes the yoga experience to a whole new level. Hot House Yoga (HHY) has made one of the most profound impacts on my life. I started my practice of yoga about 4 years ago at HHY. Hot House Yoga teaches students proper alignments of the asana poses as well as the proper set up pose so that once one has accomplished the set up pose he/she will be able to properly go into to the full expression of the asana pose. I also took my 200 hour and 300 hour teacher's training at HHY. Not only did I learn to teach yoga and offer students assists that will develop their practices but I became strong in mind body and spirit. I grew tremendously as a yogi and a person. The teachers I have had at HHY have been second to none. I have also met some of the most wonderful people that I hope will be in my life for a long time to come. HHY offers creative and challenging classes. I believe that anyone who would like to practice yoga and make personal growth she/he must practice at HHY. I am forever grateful to Shelly for all that she has given me and how I can use these gifts. Namaste
