I recently was invited to try a workout here with my bestie….talk about impressed! Not knowing what to expect, I was happy to find out we would be working out privately. The little “pods” were amazing, loved how the temperature could be adjusted for newbies!
Tony was the staff member onsite and he was absolutely incredible! He explained everything well and was very generous with offering a towel, a water, etc…the way he made it feel like “his” truly made me feel like he was proud to work there. Definitely recommend 10/10!!!

Absolutely terrible experience. I was verbally told my membership would end after 6 months, yet they sneakily auto renewed without my authorization. When I asked for a refund, they flat out refused. This place is really cool! Hot actually! I was so pleasantly impressed with how welcomed and supported Eric made me feel during my free trial. The saunas are super clean, the heat is pleasant and you can regulate how hot you want your private space to be. The facilitators on video seemed knowledgeable and they provide “easier” “typical” and “advanced” postures for you to choose from. They also offer up lifting comments. I tried their pilates class. Can’t wait to try their yoga, cycling and rowing. Make sure you have basic knowledge of body mechanics and how to correctly do some of the typical postures within the class you choose since you’ll be mostly working on your own. The workout seemed short for me but Eric said you can choose to do more than one each time you come in. Love the privacy and the heat. Great concept. Heat means less injuries plus many more amazing benefits. Thank you for the complementary water bottle and for making me feel at home.

UPDATE I was disappointed with the way my concern was handled. Although I was eventually refunded the full amount, it came after my integrity and motivations were questioned. A simple resolution from the start would have resulted in a positive experience, but instead, the approach felt dismissive and unprofessional. Customer service should be about respect and fairness, yet I found myself in a situation where a small issue became unnecessarily complicated. Businesses that prioritize their customers’ concerns with kindness and integrity earn loyalty and positive reviews—unfortunately, that was not my experience here..

UPDATE I signed up under the promise that the first month was free, which to me (and most people) means 30 days. Instead, I was charged a full membership fee of $62.78 after just 22 days. When I raised my concern, Matthew refused to acknowledge the issue, canceled my membership, and still kept my payment—even though I wouldn’t be able to use the service for the month I was charged for.

This isn’t about not wanting to pay; it’s about being charged unfairly and not receiving the service I was promised. Beware of misleading policies and poor customer service.

I urge everyone to read this before signing up.
After being at HOTWORX for a month I feel it’s appropriate to write a review.

Firstly, when I was sold the membership I was given false hope that I wouldn’t have to pay anything to sign up. It wasn’t until I had already said “yeah that sounds great” that the skid in the fact I would have to buy $100 worth of products in order to workout there. At which point they offered me a 25% discount if I wrote a 5 star review. Furthermore the cancellation fee is $90 and this studio requires a 6 month commitment. All of this is sprung on you after you verbally commit and your standing at a computer to sign. That puts a lot of pressure on the individual to continue with the agreement and is not transparent.

Secondly, the red towel that I was forced to purchase was washed several times before washing with anything else. Has ruined any and every item I have washed it with. Being that this is a sauna I have to wash it every day that I intend to use the studio.

Finally, I did not got a free month of HOTWORX at all. I got 20 days.

The studio itself is fine for the most part. Some classes are impossible to get into at certain times of day without scheduling in advance. They just so happen to be the only classes I’m interested in.
