Been hitting up HOTWORX on University for ages, and it’s a big part of my fitness journey. Gotta say, the place is way better maintained now props to the staff for keeping it clean and in shape. Everyone’s super chill and helpful, which is awesome. I always sweat buckets and feel totally detoxed after a sesh. Oh, and the manager is a lifesaver! A couple times I spaced and forgot my mat or water, and they hooked me up. Seriously appreciate that! Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a good workout and a friendly vibe.

I signed up at Hotworx Orlando University in February and was told I HAD to get the Sweat Everywhere membership if I EVER wanted to switch locations. I made it clear I’d be moving to near another location in June, and was assured I could downgrade later without having to cancel but that was completely false.

Now I’ve wasted over $120 extra in total on a membership I haven’t been able to use properly because I would've just signed up for the sweat home and switched over the last month if it would've been properly communicated to me. When I called to fix it, the new manager offered me a free month ONLY if I stayed at that location after, even after I explained I now live 25 minutes away. If she would've just done that and I could've cancelled after and it would've been fine but she refuses to now that she knows I want to cancel to switch to another location, I was misled into paying the extra $20 a month for the last 6 months.

What’s worse is that I was told there was no one else I could speak to when I asked for an email or number if she couldn't help me, which is incredibly unprofessional. I stayed calm and respectful, but the lack of accountability and dismissiveness I experienced is really disappointing. As someone who works in a franchise spa myself, I expected way better. In the last month they have gotten it better but before that half the machines were being held by tape or just broken(with no out of order sign), most of the saunas had hair or tissues everywhere.

I’ve been going to this location for just over two months. I was skeptical about HOTWORX but I’ve become a true believer. I feel motivated to return to the gym every day and try the different workouts offered, and have seen great results.

The staff are friendly and personable, they really make an effort to get to know the regulars and were accommodating when I had to exchange a product that I bought from them. The facilities are well maintained and cleaned regularly, and workouts are updated every few months. I really feel like I get the full value out of my membership and am so proud to call this my home gym!

The studio is fine but the cancellation policy is a mess. I’ve been with HOTWORX for a couple years, but I was charged a cancellation fee ($100) despite the policy on the website stating free cancellation after initial term. I was told because I signed up before the new policy I would have to pay a fee which I find to be completely confusing and ridiculous. Any gym, after initial term/contract, should be free to cancel anytime.

Changed my review. Originally gave them 5 stars. Then I moved out of state. Texted , called and emailed them to cancel my membership. I was told I had to mail them a letter. I did that. They say they never got it. Now I’m getting texts and emails they are reporting me to the credit bureau

Was going to join the one in my new state but not after this.

There biz plan is to lock you into a monthly subscription and make it very difficult to cancel.

This is one reason planet fitness is so popular. They will just cancel you.

LA fitness , cycle bar do the same thing Hotworks is doing then they wonder why they are not retaining members.

I have been going here not even a full month. To be able to do all the workouts you need to purchase a 50 dollar mat. Once I purchased the mat I did my first workout and noticed I had gotten hives on my legs. I figured it may have been triggered by something else but after going about three more times I noticed I was getting hives from the mat. So since I was allergic to the mat I could not do all of the workouts and figured it wasn’t worth it anymore. I went to go and cancel my membership and got told it would be 200 dollars to cancel. Even though it isn’t my fault I am allergic to the mat. I asked if I could at least get a refund for the mat since I won’t ever be able to use it and they told me no and all they could give me in their sympathy. So not even within a whole month I paid 500 dollars here. It was a huge waste of money and they do not care about their customers.

Very cool idea but not worth the money… When signing up you pay $150 just to get the materials that you “have” to use in order to do any of the isometric workouts. If you don’t want to pay $150 you are left only allowed to do the HIIT workouts (which there are only 3 options, full body, cycle, and row) The virtual instruction video just plays over and over again so anytime you want to cycle you’re going to watch the exact same video and do the exact same workout as yesterday it’s extremely boring and repetitive. You get charged at the 1st of the month so if you get your membership on the 30th and pay $150 for equipment the next day you are charged another $60. When read out the agreements (at least the person who read me mine) they are extremely vague and do not fully explain the cancellation policy. The person who read the agreements to me told me “there is a 60 day cancellation so if i cancel i’m still on the hook for two months.” When i came in to cancel (you can’t cancel over the phone) i was told after starting a membership you have to wait 3 months to cancel and when you do that it is still a 60 day cancellation. Basically saying when signing up you’re on the hook for 5 months… which i was never made aware of. When i told the manager i was never made aware of this policy he became irritated and swore i was told (when he wasn’t the one who read me my agreements nor was he there), rather than apologizing for my experience and the employees failure to inform me. 5 months is $450 including the materials for iso workouts so when signing up for the first month expect to pay a total of $450. The only other option is to do an immediate cancel but that costs $107. Basically i have worked out at hotworx for a total of two weeks before becoming unsatisfied and bored with my membership and total i have spent $310. $310 is not worth one month of recorded workout sessions. Another complaint i have is that yes saunas can be super good for you, BUT i began getting major migraines and having dry skin just after days of doing these sauna workouts. Just stick with a regular gym and avoid this hassle and extreme price tag. You could even go to a gym with a sauna and watch a youtube workout video on your phone and get the exact same experience that hotworx offers.

There was not an option for a 60 day cancellation until after the 3 month mark. So, unless i wanted to pay for 5 months ($300+) i had to immediately cancel for $107. When asked my reason for cancelling i replied “it is too expensive.” As stated in my review it only took me a few weeks to realize this place is not worth the money.

I am an NPC bikini competitor. I just competed at nationals in 2021 in Orlando, FL. I for sure needed a spot to complete my cardio, but not only this, a place where I could obtain maximum results for my last workout before stage.

You will not burn more steady calories, plus receive the benefit of infrared sauna, and anytime of the day you choose.. anywhere else! I can’t even Phaethon doing normal cardio. Sauna workouts, considering your health needs, are such a game changer.

I highly recommend this facility coming through for me, when I needed to train, complimenting my session, abs opening an hour early to let me in.

When I found a bolt in the cycling room, Frank not only fixed the bike, he replaced it! This place is amazing! Since I was introduced to this establishment, I cannot stop going! As a chiropractic physician, this place allows me to take away some of the discomfort I experience after a long day of care. I also visit the gym frequently and sometimes experience some minor stiffness in multiple areas in my body. When I first heard about HotWorx I was intrigued! I thought what a cool concept! All these fun classes all in the privacy of your very own sauna or to enjoy with a friend as well. What sealed the deal was when I went in to try out a class. The friendly and professional greeting from the manager Frank and his staff was beyond my expectations. The infrared saunas are so perfect, not your traditional humid sauna at all and it feels so great to get your sweat on in one of these. It's more of a dry heat and you can actually breathe! There's a variety of workouts so you are bound to find something you'd enjoy, and you can work at your own pace in relative privacy. I do wish they were open on Sundays, because that's my recovery day after working and training all week...perfect time for a heated yoga sesh.

I’ve loved getting my sweat on here and have especially loved the manager, Ashley! Her and the HotWorx team are all so supportive and friendly and keep the facility fun and clean. Wish there was a location closer to my new home but I’m so willing to take the 40 minute drive because it’s that great of a gym!

I come to Hotworx 4-5 days a week and I LOVE it! The workouts are very challenging and I always feel detoxed and stronger. The facility is always neat and clean, and the ladies who work there are great. Ashley signed my sisters and I up, and she's great. She explained how everything works in detail, including the contacts should you sign up. I highly recommend giving them a try.

I come here everyday and couldn’t be happier with my experience. A very clean and safe establishment with awesome customer service and staff. Make sure you read a contract before you sign their cancellation policy is awful 3 months paying for the gym and 2 months after that you can cancel
Also the virtual instructor they talk about is the same tape
The owner and the manager of the gym by ucf were so rude

I am enjoying Hotworx more and more. There is something that feels cathartic about torturing yourself in a heated box while trying to exercise. The staff is friendly. The variation in classes provides a nice change of pace between, yoga, core, iso, and cardio like spinning and rowing. There is even a small gym, and a shower, so that I can go on my lunch break and return to work. Highly recommend.

Wow! This gym is simply amazing! First i would like to say that i am just a regular person dealing with health issues and i in no way work for this gym.
I saw an online ad and decided to give it a try. Upon walking into the gym i was greeting by friendly and welcoming faces. I had spoken to Kat and the manager Ashley, both are wonderful and helpful women!
They helped get me signed up after taking 2 classes and i was thrilled! It is an infrared sauna with different types of workout videos that are easy to follow. During the workouts, you will be sweating and DEFFINETLY feel the burn. But it is not hard. It is perfect! But you can work at your own pace and still get maximum results. I tried yoga and the Rowing course and fell in love with the intensity. ..they have bathrooms with a shower for convenience, a scale, bmi tracker, and in the back there is a strength, weight, pull up bar, ropes, training area. Even if you don't workout, you can sit in the sauna and sweat and STILL burn 400 calories for 30 minutes! This gym is perfect if you have self esteem issues, or if you are in great shape wanting to tone, sweat and strengthen up. It suites every need! Everyone will feel amazing there and it is a welcoming environment!
I am now a member and i am on my way to workout. Come give them a try! You will love it! Ask for a towel and workout mat and tell them you heard about this from Ali ! Hope to see you all there!
