Karah is hands down the best general manager I’ve ever encountered at a gym studio! From the moment you walk into HotWorx, she makes you feel like more than just a member—she makes you feel like family. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care for every person who walks through the door create an atmosphere of true belonging.

I had several questions about my membership, and she went above and beyond to help me, explaining everything with such patience and understanding. She never made me feel rushed or like just another customer—she truly cares about each member’s experience.

If every gym had a GM like Karah, the fitness world would be a much better place. She’s a rockstar, and HotWorx is lucky to have her! If you’re thinking about joining this location, just know you’ll be in the best hands possible. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to HOTWORX every day since I joined, and it has made such a huge difference in my life! Not only has it helped me physically, but it has also been a game-changer for my mental health. I’ve noticed a big improvement in my overall well-being, and it has even helped m quit my 6 year nicotine addiction. I love the flexibility of being able to go anytime, and the workouts leave me feeling stronger and more energized. The environment is amazing, and I’m so glad I joined!

The concept of HW is great. Heated sauna and workout? I’m 5’7” and the sauna feels quite small even as I am alone- apparently at any time there could be 2 other people in with with you which I imagine would feel very cramped. No music during a workout and hearing the people in saunas next to me (very clearly) was distracting and made it hard to focus. Employees said I could listen to my own music but I don’t think that would work well- especially since the TV’s are placed so high on the sauna wall. I didn’t like the Pilates workout (once again no music, super slow) so I ended up doing a workout from YouTube on my phone. This is not a criticism of the franchise more so the programming done by corporate. Like I said the concept is great, I feel like many things would need to change to make this a good choice for me.

Absolutely obsessed, one of the best and cost effective fitness studios in the St Johns area, I’ve lost 25 lbs with consistent workouts here, would highly recommend to anyone trying to lose weight and it’s really good for any prior injuries as well!! Also the staff is amazing, super kind and keeps the studio super clean!!

I signed up about a month ago and my experience has been wonderful! Mallory gave me a tour of this location and was very educated about all of the different workouts and what they benefit. I did a free day pass of the hot stretch and realized this is the type of workout for me! The environment is very calm and welcoming unlike a lot of other gyms. When I went back the next day to sign up Carley helped me get my membership and let me know about all of the terms and payment processes. She even said that they will lend me a towel until the one I wanted came back in stock. Overall, this has been a very inviting and comfortable change for me and the workers are so amazing and helpful!

I started my membership at the end of April and literally only attended ONE class due to unforeseen medical reasons. I called to cancel my membership a few days after joining and was told it was canceled. Well, I noticed a large debit on my account from them. So I called to discuss and request a refund. To only be told it was never canceled because they dont cancel over the phone. I explained my situation of only using the gym once which the manager could see on her end but still offered no remedy. She then told me she will go ahead and cancel my membership for me….over the phone! Completely mind blowing!

The new manager David is great!! This franchise got lucky finding him. The last girl manager would just take photos of herself and try on the hotworx clothes all the time. David understands fitness and helped me and my wife with workout programs. He also came in the FX area and corrected are squat form. David I wish they had 10 stars for your review!

Buyer Beware! We were members for a long time. My wife and I do a lot of traveling and back in August we put our membership on hold since the areas we would be traveling to for next several months. They informed us there would be a hold fee per month. Ok no problem. Then in January 2023 we saw that they started taking out the full amount without our permission! We called and spoke to them and told them our account is on hold and they should have never taken out the full amount. They said we would have to come into their location to resolve the issue. So a week later while we were in Jacksonville we made a point to visit this location. The young lady at front desk couldn’t help us so she got the manager. The manager was a complete waist of time and NOW says that holds are only good for 6 months. Ok so was anyone going to tell us? So being frustrated with this manager I said please just cancel the account and refund my money that you had no permission to take. He then says we’ll you have to give 60 days notice to cancel your account. I told that’s ridiculous and that I will just have my credit union stop all transactions from your company. Did the manager try and do what’s right and make a customer happy? Nope! Didn’t say or do anything. So more time I had to waste and have my credit union stop any and all transactions from this company. So my suggestion is be very very careful when dealing with this location and manager. They will be nice on front end but if circumstances change and you want to put your account on hold or end your membership, the FAKE niceness goes away oh so quickly. A report is also being sent to the corporate office about this location.

I love being able to do classes 24/7 Vs set times. It’s so easy to schedule on the app and make changes. There are around 10 different types of classes offered. I love the infrared studio to exercise. Ashley is just so positive and encouraging when I come in. It’s a great workout option and conveniently located near my home. The classes are 30-40 minutes for most, but hiit options are 15 minutes. I’ve tried most of the classes and like the variety.

Love love love HotWorx!! Rowing, yoga, cycle classes using resistance bands and so many more in a sauna?!? HECK YES! The benefits are QUICK! Your heart rate gets higher more quickly! I am super excited for HOTWORX to open near my home. The benefits of working out in an infrared sauna are amazing, to be able to schedule a workout 24/7, do a session in 15 or 30 minutes get a shower and head off to work is perfect for my busy schedule.
