My whole life I have hated going to the gym, I just never really felt comfortable while I was there. It’s hard at a lot of these big gyms to feel like you are more than just a number. Not at hyperswole, Chris and Rachel make you feel like family while you are there, and all the patrons are supportive and helpful! I would 100% recommend hyperswole if you are a beginner or an experienced gym rat! Thanks guys for making working out fun!

Hyperswole is an amazing locally-owned gym. I had no past gym experience and was concerned about feeling out of place and overwhelmed. Rachel and Chris (the owners) are knowledgeable and approachable. They work hard to ensure that each person feels supported and safe in their practice.
If you're new to strength training or just to the gym experience, I highly recommend personal training to set yourself up for success. Working with Rachel gave me confidence in my abilities and a plan to continue building strength and improving my health.
Rachel and Chris are natural encouragers. Their love for people and fitness shines through at Hyperswole. You won't be disappointed.

I’ve been working out here for 3 months now and am truly in the best shape of my life. For 8 years now I have struggled to find a gym that keeps me interested but Hyperswole changed that on day one. The owners (Chris and Rachel), and of course Bones (gym dog), have made this gym feel like you’re joining a family. I’ve never seen results so quickly and I’d recommend this gym to anyone! If you want to continue boring repetitive gym routines, this is not your place!

I've been a member of Hyperswole for a few months now and I can't speak highly enough of the gym or of Chris and Rachel, the owners.

After about 10 years or so of being a pretty active gym goer, I felt I had hit a plateau in my strength and my knowledge of how to get improvements. I've only ever done self programming and a lot of trial and error. It was time to find someone who knows a lot more than I do and have them program for me and that is Chris and Rachel.

Chris is incredibly knowledgeable and adaptive to my individual lifting style, which has really increased my strength, my stamina and most of all my recovery time. The gym itself is great, it has everything you need, plenty of weights, cardio equipment and a large turf area. It's also nice to finally be a part of a close knit gym community

The biggest thing Hyperswole offers that other gyms do not, are definitely Chris and Rachel. You won't get their knowledge or instruction anywhere else in the city, that alone is worth the investment.

This gym is also very family friendly. I see kids and teens alike doing sports training with their parents or trainers on the very large turf area. There's a little of something for everyone.

We love training at Hyperswole! THE MOST family friendly gym out there! My 14 year old has been training with one of the owners (Chris) and has had the best experience! Chris is so thoughtful in his training and most importantly he’s an amazing teacher. He teaches & encourages at the right time and knows when to push. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience over the past 6 months of my 14 year old working out here. I lam thankful to help give my children the gift of health for years to come by teaching them how to train properly. Thank you Chris & Rachel, we will be forever indebted to you two for this gift.

Can’t recommend Hyperswole enough! I started up a little under a year ago during the middle of a weight loss journey. I knew I wanted to lift weights and build muscle but felt overwhelmed in a traditional gym. HYPERSWOLE has been perfect, it truly is a small gym with a family atmosphere. I’ve been training with Rachel a little under a year now, working on form and consistency. I’ve never felt stronger and confident! Just do it! Show up for yourself and stay consistent, you won’t regret it!

Great location, owners, members and equipment. I’ve done baileys, LA fitness, f45, and a bunch of other boutique gyms and nothing quite aligns with my needs like Hyperswole. The workout of the day is always posted so you can show up when your schedule allows to get a workout in. I was having trouble making class times at the previously mentioned spots due to running a small business and would often find myself unable to make it in to the gym. If you have any questions with movements there are trainers on hand to show you how to properly do it. Very happy with what I’ve experienced so far and am looking forward to seeing progress over the next couple months as I have already put on muscle in the first 4 weeks💪🏼

Seriously—stay far away if you’re perfectly content feeling less than your healthiest self. If you’ve grown attached to that pot belly, or if you're pushing 40 and cool with your age and pant size creeping suspiciously close, then HyperSwole isn’t the place for you.

Maybe your significant other is into you groaning when you tie your shoes. So, just ignore this gym altogether!

But for the rest of us who want to feel younger, stronger, and healthier, HyperSwole is a total game-changer. The trainers are incredible—knowledgeable, dedicated, and genuinely invested in your journey. I am a 68-year-old retiree. When I retired, I found myself with a lot of time on my hands but also that my health was taking a downturn. I was losing strength, muscle and motivation. I knew sitting at home was not a good thing and that I had to do something different. I had to find something that gave me purpose and that would help in securing my independence for as long as I could. With the help of a friend, we visited many of the brand name gyms. They offered state-of-the-art equipment, smoothies and they also had personal trainers. However, the personal touch was not there. They offered a rigorous routine which I immediately knew I could not commit to and that it would cause more harm than good. I felt that the routines were not personalized, was rushed and that I would definitely be discouraged as I do not enjoy pain. After visiting numerous gyms my friend said I think I know of a place that you may like and she introduced me to Hyperswole.
I met Chris, but my routine is developed and handled by Rachel. There is so much to be said. I immediately knew this was what I was looking for. In my first meeting with Rachel, I explained to her my experiences and how certain routines discourage me. I told her of my back and sciatic issues. She developed a routine that I enjoy and that has helped me to strengthen and develop muscle. She has also has given me countless advice on my food intake and has helped me realize how important it is to eat the right foods. I have said many times, I wish I had done this years ago. And I thank God every day for allowing me to find them. They are a great team and truly a God send and their baby and dog are an added bonus! ❤️

It is a very friendly and welcoming gym. My son attends athletic training (top notch)with some of his High School teammates. I am able to get a workout of my own in for a small fee at the same time. I’ve been a member of HyperSwole Gym for a few years now, and I can confidently say it’s the best gym experience I’ve ever had. From the moment you walk in through the garage door, you’re greeted by one of the staff; or the cute gym dog, Bones :)

The instructors are top-notch, motivating, and always willing to offer modifications for different fitness levels. Each weekday they provide a detailed workout targeting certain areas of the body. Or you can workout on your own, using the wide range of equipment on the spacious turf. If you’re into HIIT, they offer a Deck of Cards workout every Saturday morning.

What really sets HyperSwole apart from other gyms, is the sense of community and camaraderie among its members. Every session feels like a team effort. There is no corporate gym ambiance and definitely no judgment.

I highly recommend HyperSwole Gym if you’re seeking a unique gym experience to meet your physical/mental goals. Look for Chris or Rachel!

Great gym and training classes for middle school and high school athletes of any sport. Trainers and equipment help athletes get stronger, quicker, jump higher while maintaining or increasing flexibility. Daughter that plays volleyball went here. Within first month, vertical improved 2 inches along with greater upper body and core strength.

Very unprofessional. He tells you to follow the routine on the TV and then ignores you. I paid for 30 classes in advance and after three classes, I had to move due to a family emergency. I've known Matt Thornton (Personal Trainer and Director of Hyperswole) for a long time and ever since coming to Hyperswole, his gym has been nothing but an outstanding place to train at. Both as a personal trainer here and also a person who has trained under Matt in the past, anyone who comes here will not regret taking a class under him.

The gym itself is very nice with the space it has. It is not a "mega"-sized gym but has a lot of activities you can do in it. With boxing bags, sleds, a turf field to do agility work on, cardio machines, barbell racks for power lifting and Cross Fit-type training, and free weights for bodybuilding, Hyperswole has it all.

If you are interested in any of those things I mentioned, you're gonna love this gym.
