We started my 6 year old daughter in the Beginners class on Saturday mornings about 4 months ago and she absolutely loves it. Coach Vince and his coaches are extremely patient and great with young children as they can adapt to teaching them in a way that works for them. She has been able to quickly learn basic golf skills (driving, putting and pitching) and can now move up to the more challenging classes. On the administration side, whenever I have a question about billing or class schedules, Tanya responds back promptly and is super helpful.

I recently experienced a golf lesson with ICE Golf Academy. I wasn't the person getting the lesson but a group of my younger cousins and nephews were. Ages ranging from 3-12. I've never seen a person be able to grab the attention and focus of 7 young children at 1 time. He started with safety and the kids listened and retained the info. At those ages, that's priority #1. At the start of the lesson, the kids didn't know how to hold a golf club. At the end of the lesson, they were ALL hitting balls, straight, off a tee. The next day, the kids wanted to go back. I want to thank my Detroit friend Mr. Vincent Burbank for the awesome display of control, patience and encouragement. It truly takes not only a true professional, but an extraordinary person (with the help of his lovely wife) to provide such a service! Thank you Mr. Burbank. We'll be seeing you very soon! My son has attended ICE Golf Academy for 3 years. He started as a beginner and his game has improved tremendously to now playing competitive golf. He not only has learned the game of golf but life skills that exceed the game. The instructors including owner and PGA Golf professional, Vincent Burbank is an amazing coach and mentor. He works with youth and adults of all ages. Highly recommend whether you or your children are beginners or advanced golfers. ICE is more than just golf it’s a family. Wish we would have found them sooner!

Our kids have been attending ICE Academy for 4 strong years. We were looking for an environment that promotes teamwork, physical and mental strength in addition to learning the discipline of the game. We were not looking for a golf play camp. This place had done it for us. They have built our kids confidence as it relates to the game and taken time out of their schedule to support them and show that they care. Our 13 yr old recently shot a 78 in a tournament 2 weeks ago, and our 9 year old who has being playing for less time shot a 33. This is our outcome. Yes!!! Hard work and following the coach’s curriculum has worked for us. We just celebrated one of their students get a college scholarship. The real deal!!

If you don’t want your kid to get rained on or be hot then this is definitely not for you. They monitor the weather closely and keep our kids safe. Simply raining won’t stop the show. So get your rain gear and have your kiddos ready.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm sure the coaches are great but the owner and support office staff is terrible. Find somewhere else for your kids. Had never been to the course that they operate out of, no signs, last minute messages changing the location where your child will be, telling you they don't leave the office to help anyone. Overall there has to be better customer service. We just moved here and this is golf down here? Can't be. DO NOT USE ICE GOLF.. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

My son has been attending lessons at Ice Academy for over a year now, and we have been extremely pleased with our experience. On top of quality coaching, the kids learn independence on the golf course. My son loves the friends he has made through ICE Academy, and is always excited to go to his lessons!

This has been a fantastic golf experience for my kids. They enjoy the instruction and the competition. I would recommend this for any person interested in junior golf it puts in place a great foundation and keeps the kids having fun and interested in the game of golf. The instruction is first class!

We highly recommend ICE Golf Academy. Coach Vince and his staff are exceptional in their instruction, professionalism, kindness, and above all--caring for each student individually. Our son needs accommodations and we appreciate how Coach Vince, Tanya, and Coach Chris take the time to fully hear and understand our son's needs, working with him in a way that is meaningful (and fun!) to him. They continuously make him feel valued and important, providing him with just the right blend of direct instruction, reinforcement, and encouraging words. The team does a great job engaging students of all levels and often goes above and beyond to make sure the students are developing their skills.

My daughter has attended Ice golf academy for 2 years now. She has participated in camps, lessons and PGAJL My daughter spends mostly summers with me and every year she looks forward to the start of her golf program. The setup coach Vincent has is definitely top of the line. I would highly recommend.

Terrible, pathetic organization. Rude and incompetent, doesn't give lessons to children just allows them to play 3 holes. Real shyster. Argues with other adults in front of children (mostly staff). Seems as though he isn't well liked at Orange County National. Avoid this crook.

My granddaughter had never touch a golf cub. I signed her up with ICE Golf Academy golf camp and she loved every minute of it. She was on the course from 8 until 4 , 5 days a week. She loved it so much she end up doing a second year of golf camp . My granddaughter self esteem went sky high and she wants to continue golf lesson in high school. If she could she would be doing golf camp every year. Coach Vince is an exceptional golf coach, he is patience and caring and the student learns so much every day . I would highly recommend Coach Vince and the ICE Golf Academy. You will not be disappointed.
