Fantastic place to really learn to play! Bernard was an amazing coach. I was nervous about finding somewhere that would be professional and also good for a brand new player, but immediately I felt comfortable. I took a while at first to get all the different aspects of my swing together, and Bernard was patient & offered many different drills to get used to the specifics of golf to help adjust my posture and grip. Now I can go enjoy a game with friends or day at the driving range and I’m comfortable with many different clubs. He helped me with a lot of advice about equipment to buy as a beginner so that I would not waste money and would get just what I needed to serve me well. I would recommend to anyone in the area whether you’re new or experienced and looking to improve.
I took one lesson at first and then got 10 lessons with a great discount for buying together - especially in the off season. You can also come in to practice separate from taking lessons. I’d give them six stars if I could, seriously. I’ll be back again after playing a little while and working on my game with what I know now.

I came to this assessment thinking it is not going to be very helpful. I was wrong! Lloyd did a great job, not only going through the fundamentals, but showing me exactly my key issues and fixes. I got a hole in one… a week after working with Harrison the first time. Did that get your attention? I’m not saying that lesson was the reason, but with simple adjustments he got me to strike the ball with a crispness I rarely feel in my clubs. That 9 iron shot to the par three was super crisp. I have improved dramatically in my lessons with Harrison. The indoor setup with video analysis and data is exactly what I was looking for and what my game needed. Harry breaks down video and data in a way that is simple and keeps me focused on only one or two things that I need to be thinking about and practicing. Being able to go back and look at video snippets and Harry's commentary from previous lessons in the CoachNow app is super helpful to stay on track when playing and practicing and also shows progress. I have been working with Brett Blackburn at Impact zone for a couple of months. I am writing because I could not be happier with my coach (Brett). As a lifelong golfer I have taken many lessons and I can say Brett is the best teacher I have ever had. He is not just a guy who “gives lessons”. He is a “coach” in every sense of the word. With the technology that Impact Zone has, combined with Brett’s great coaching you can’t help but get results. My first visit with Brett was an “assessment”. During the assessment he should me with data and video the strengths and weaknesses with my swing. I learned more in that session about my swing than in all prior lessons I’ve had. More importantly, he set me up on an improvement plan so that I could recapture the game I had when I was younger. I am so impressed with the dedication and interest Brett has in me and my game. He checks in with me and is genuinely interested in my play. Within a short time, and admittedly some good work by myself, I raised my level of play to where I can be proud of . I highly recommend Impact Zone. The way they analyze your swing is amazing. They look at all parameters, from swing path, angle of attack, weight shift, everything. They have two cameras, one head on, and one down the line. And they record every swing. Then they look at all the numbers and the videos and show you what you're doing wrong and right. And how to fix it. They also send you the videos and data in the app so you can review them later.
Harrison was my instructor and he is awesome. He is so good and showing me the little things that have improved my game. I got my handicap down to the lowest it's ever been last year. And I'm really looking forward to this year to go even lower.

Just started with Bernie but love him already. Succinct, patient, great body movement drills and if I'm not getting the move he wants me to do, he'll figure out another way to get me there. Really feel that he cares about my progression and wants me to succeed - a quality that is hard to find.

Played golf for many years but wanted to learn the true mechanics in the swing. So I started training with Bernard earlier this year to work on my swing. I started coming here as an ex high school player who now shoots from 84-87.. after completing a 10 lesson package with HARRY and now I consistently break 80!!! I was struggling with my golf game after three surgeries in two years. I finally said that’s it. I need to get a good series of lessons. I called impact zone. They evaluated my swing. They suggested a series of lessons. I couldn’t be happier. Bernard Sheridan is my instructor. He is teaching me the dynamics of the golf swing. Helped me greatly with a couple swing flaws. I used my "new swing" the next day. The 1st 7 holes were a struggle while I tried to get used to the fell and how the changes worked "in real life". On the 8th hole, it all started to click and I played the last 11 holes with 6 easy pars, 3 bogies and 2 birdies. I have not had 2 birdies in a round for a long time. BTW, one of the bogies was self-inflicted with a 3 putt.

In just 3 lessons with Bernard Sheridan I am hitting the ball 100% better than before. I am also able to start using my driver again after a 6 week hiatus of not being able to hit it at all. I am now crushing my drives. Bernard is teaching me fundamentals which he breaks down into drills loaded into the app so I can work on each aspect of my swing between lessons. Everything is video recorded so I can see exactly what I need to do. Friends I regularly play golf with are amazed at my rapid improvement. My handicap index has come down 1 point in just 3-1/2 weeks. I am so glad I came to Impact Zone and am working with Bernard.

To each their own, but after working with Bernard at Impact zone and putting in the work my scores have never been lower. With the technology they have it’s hard to compete. I had 2 excellent lessons with Bernard at the Impact Zone. I was on a golf trip and was really struggling with my swing. Luckily we found Bernard and he was able to give me some great instruction to salvage my game on the trip. I went from a terrible hook to some of the best ball striking I’ve had in years. I look forward to working with Bernard remotely from New Jersey and I will be seeing him on my next trip to Naples. Do yourself a favor and book some lessons with Bernard.

Paul Surniak is a great instructor with many years of experience. I have had lessons from Paul for several years off and on, mostly just when I really needed it! (If you are a long-time golfer, you’ve been there!) Paul always had a knack for getting me back on track. Now that he has hooked up with Impact Zone (Bobby Clampett), he has gotten even better, and so have I. The structure of this system and the supporting measurement technology make it easier to focus on concrete improvements. My wife and I always complained about having to have “87 swing thoughts” whenever you take lessons. Not any more! The Impact Zone training, especially in the hands of a real expert like Paul, is a way to get measurable results while keeping it simple. Most importantly, it’s just more fun to play good golf! I am frequently scoring in the 70’s for the first time in my life and I just turned 65. If you want to get better, no matter your skill level right now, you owe it to yourself to give Impact Zone a try.

Erica had good insight into improving your swing.
It’s difficult in a group to give instruction to each individual.
With a new golfer in the group, they tend to demand more attention. I would suggest Erica try and even out the instruction to the whole group and less on one specific individual.

My wife and I attended a two day school this past weekend and had the remarkable good fortune to have Bernard Sheridan to ourselves for a total of 8 hours.

He focused on each of us with our individual swing issues. He introduced us to a series of drills which will be key to our improvement now and in the future. The drills we feel are hugely effective to learn the feel of maximizing the workhorse dynamic so essential to achieve consistent ball striking.
