I started doing Pilates because I have a knee and hip replacement as well as herniated discs and my usual intense workouts weren’t doing me any good. Sarah took the time to listen to my concerns and modified to what I needed. She discovered weaknesses in my hip that we continue to work on. I appreciate that I can come in and say “this hurts” and she will modify the workouts accordingly. Not all trainers do that.

Sarah has been amazing! After having 2 back surgeries from herniated discs I knew I needed an expert to guide me. Sarah ensures I have proper form while doing any exercise. I do truly believe if I went to a large class or someone less experienced I could have injured myself!! She also does massages for her clients which are incredible because she learns your body and knows exactly what you need! My strength and flexibility have greatly imcreased and I am so thankful I found her!

As someone who has always disliked exercise, Sarah has really changed my perception of physical activity. I have made so much progress whereas in previous attempts at increasing physical activity, I would get bored and give up. She integrates so many different things into my workouts and keeps them fun. I am never bored! I was interested in Pilates because it is known to build whole body strength, improve posture, and flexibility - all of which I needed! Sarah integrates other strength building and cardio activities into each workout. I have been going two times a week for a little over a year now and can happily report I am much stronger! It is so satisfying to be able to do things I wouldn’t have been able to do a year ago. Her space is comfortable and I feel right at home whenever I am there. I am forever thankful to Sarah and her unique approach to working out. I can't recommend her enough - especially if you are someone who hates traditional exercise!

I’ve been doing Pilates with Sarah since July and have never felt as strong as I do in all my life both physically and mentally. Her sessions vary day to day and she always finds a way to challenge me by introducing new movements or stretches and working all muscle groups (even the ones I didn’t know I had). Sarah is amazing! Private Pilates with a knowledgeable and fun instructor made all the difference in the world. I had chronic issues with low back pain and Sarah helped me retrain my body so my posture muscles work appropriately. The difference in how I stand, sit, and walk is visibly noticeable and well, needless to say my back stopped hurting all the time. There is a big difference between having private sessions and group instruction for Pilates. I highly recommend taking private sessions with Sarah!

I have been going to pilates classes off and on for years. I have a myriad of health issues, so I wasn’t able to keep up in regular classes, and I didn’t like the private classes either for various reasons. I definitely didn’t enjoy it and wasn’t going consistently because of my health issues. Until I found Sarah. I have actually been consistently working out with her 2 x a week for two months, which is the longest I have stuck with an exercise program since I started having health issues over 10 years ago. And I don’t plan on stopping any time soon! I really look forward to each session and when one of us is out of town, I really miss our sessions!

Sarah has this special way of making you feel totally comfortable when you’re around her, and that extends to pilates and massages as well. She is incredibly good at figuring out which exercises are best for your body during each session (and it is very important to her that you are doing them all correctly!). For me, that tends to mean changing it up quite often. Sarah is super flexible and great at sensing what my body needs on any given day- sometimes I am able to do more challenging workouts and sometimes we do more stretching. I have also opted for massages on some days, which Sarah is also really amazing at. I have been to a TON of massage therapists over the years, and Sarah is one of the best. She has pinpointed and helped me with issues that no one else either recognized or knew how to help. This is remarkable considering how many various kinds of health practitioners I have been to. There have been very few who have been able to help me, and Sarah is one of them. She is truly one of a kind.

Sarah’s incredible array of knowledge, compassion, empathy, professionalism, kindness and fun, positive, upbeat personality are what sets her apart from other pilates instructors. I also think she is just very gifted at what she does. She is always striving to expand her knowledge and be better, which is rare to find and truly inspiring. Her humility allows her to help so many more people by being honest when she doesn’t know something and wanting to learn and figure it out so she can help.

Whatever your goals for pilates and fitness might be, Sarah will be encouraging you every step of the way, rooting for you and making it fun. It’s fairly easy to find a pilates instructor- it’s almost impossible to find one who gives the extra care and attention that Sarah does each session and one who cares as much as you do, not only about your progress fitness wise but about your overall health. She is a gem and I am so thankful I found her!!

I worked out with Sarah twice per week for a little over a year right up until she moved back to Florida. I would still be working out with her if she had stayed. Working out in Sarah’s home is so comfortable and her extensive knowledge of fitness for you personally is so refreshing and made me feel safe under her instruction. Sarah is a wonderful coach. Extremely patient, positive, upbeat, funny and personable. If a position/exercise is making a part of your body hurt even a little, she doesn't have you continue doing it and chooses a different exercise for that muscle group. She immediately sees and corrects if one doesn't have their body in the safest and most efficient position to do an exercise. She identified and helped me with a problem I'd had for several years. Parts of my body that typically hurt with everyday movements became strong and no longer hurt.

This was one of the best gifts I ever gave myself. Sarah is both skilled and dedicated to her work of helping a person achieve the best physical well being possible. Sarah is a FABULOUS instructor and helped me tremendously! I have fibromyalgia and Sarah was able to customize my fitness routine, week by week, as my fibromyalgia symptoms determined. .

Some weeks I had tremendous inflammation and I was limited to just gentle stretching exercises, but Sarah always knew exactly what would be most beneficial...and I always left feeling better. Other weeks, my fibromyalgia inflammation was minimal, and Sarah was able to customize a fitness routine accordingly. Sarah is kind, caring, knowledgeable, and professional.
