I’ve been working with Josh for several months now, and he is a phenomenal personal trainer. He’s actually the first trainer I’ve ever worked with, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to personal training.

Growing up, I was involved in various athletics and had plenty of coaches, so I thought I had a good handle on fitness, movement, and strength training. But working with Josh has been eye-opening—I’ve realized how much I didn’t fully understand until now. He has an incredible ability to break down movement and training in a way that builds not just strength but also real longevity and resilience.

One of the most remarkable things about working with Josh is his ability to instantly identify and resolve issues in the body. If something feels off—whether it’s stiffness, discomfort, or pain—you can mention it to him, and he’ll quickly diagnose the root of the problem and give you exercises that don’t just provide temporary relief but actually fix the issue long term. For example, when I first started, I was dealing with low back pain. He gave me one exercise that made the pain disappear immediately. Honestly, I wouldn’t have believed it if it hadn’t happened to me—it felt like magic, but it was just Josh knowing exactly what my body needed.

Beyond that, Josh is incredibly organized and professional. He tracks your workouts and progress so that everything is ready to go the moment you walk in. He pushes you when you need it but also makes sure the workouts are smart, safe, and tailored to your goals. If you have questions about nutrition, he has clear, practical answers. And if you want to improve your body composition, Josh will get you there—as quickly as you’re willing to commit to the process.

Simply put, working with Josh has been one of the best investments I’ve made in my health and fitness.

As a fellow heath professional I highly recommend Josh!
As someone who already had a home workout routine and thought they were mostly doing the right things, I’ve learned so much from him. I’ve made measurable progress in a short amount of time compared to years of trying to go at it alone!

He knows his stuff, and will continually make sure your form is correct to get the most out of every move, even imperceivable adjustments, lol. He’ll provide modifications if need be while progressing and for injuries.
Things you just don’t get trying to do it yourself or from following a video.

Also, as someone who’s socially anxious and wasn’t really a fan of gyms and trainers prior, Josh is so approachable and creates a comfortable atmosphere. He’s the shortcut to get you from your point A to B.

I have been working with Josh for the past 16 months.  I started with Josh in a virtual environment during COVID and he set me up with the right equipment for a home workout.  During the first 6 months we were limited but we focused on what we were able to do as well as nutrition and we achieved great result.  Josh is a subject matter expert when it comes to both exercise and nutritional needs.

After receiving my COVID vaccination we were able to move to the gym and step-up the workouts.    Josh is constantly changing up the exercise program and keeping me engage.  He is very easy to work with and a great personal trainer.  I have lost 25 pounds and 3 inches in my waist and look and feel great, thanks to my program with Josh.  I would highly recommend Josh for his knowledge in his field and his ability to be flexible with scheduling as needed.

I was referred to Josh by a mutual friend after suffering from some injuries from a car accident. His attentiveness to detail and knowledge of different types of injuries/ways to strengthen injured areas without causing more damage (doing things the right way) definitely sets him apart from any trainer/gym I’ve invested in. I’ve been training with Josh a couple nights a week for about 3 months now and my mobility has significantly increased. There aren’t enough noteworthy words in existence to express my gratitude for my journey with Coach Josh. I came to him being sick and tired of being sick and tired and he totally understood what I meant at the starting line of this journey. Earlier this quarantine, I started dieting and saw marginal success. I was motivated enough to keep going on my weight loss journey, but I had no clear vision on how to sustain a healthy lifestyle. I was reluctant at first to start working out with a trainer; I thought that I was doing good enough since I was shedding pounds according to the scale. After research, I learned that the benefits of muscle growth would help my ultimate goal of building a better physique, so I decided to meet with Josh. Immediately, Josh was able to answer my questions and address my concerns—something which was very reassuring for me. One aspect of Josh’s work that I really appreciate is his approach to obstacles. As a very anxious person, Josh provides me with a great voice of reason that helps me stay steadfast on the diet and nutrition. Speaking for myself, when I started training with Josh, my initial ability was rather limited. Honestly, I wasn't sure of my true goal & the point of additional personal training. I’ve felt burned before by other trainers. My gut told me that Josh was a different breed of trainer & because of that, took a chance.

Josh assessed my skill, ability, strengths & weaknesses in our first few sessions. Over the course of a few weeks, I started to understand why Josh was so successful as a trainer. Josh was able to identify mistakes in my form & suggested adjustments. When my form was addressed, Josh then unleashed my potential. Under his direction, I lifted more weight than ever & improve endurance. I started to understand my true goal.

Not too long after, when I felt as if I plateaued, he suggested changes in my diet. Again, after a few weeks, I started to notice change. When I was in pain from workouts, he suggested solutions that worked. If I had a question about exercises I was doing in group training session, Josh always made time to answer my questions. Teaching doesn’t stop when the session is done.

Simply put, Josh has vast knowledge, is a great motivator, is accessible & most important of all, is humble. Josh also helped figure out my true goal which was to understand & not only achieve but to live up to my potential.
