As a dedicated member who works out here five days a week, I can confidently say that Iron House Gym is the best gym in Jacksonville. The environment and vibe are incredible, making it a truly motivating place to be. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with a positive energy that makes you want to push yourself to the next level. The team is always welcoming and friendly, creating a community feel that you just don't find at larger, more commercial gyms.

You never have to worry about a machine being out of order or waiting long to use what you need. Fantastic! Dropped in while visiting from out of town. Top of the line equipment, especially for powerlifting (chalk, chains, kg plates, variety of bars, pendulum squat, vertical leg press, ZERO RUST AND TETANUS etc). If you've ever been to an iron/PL gym, you know most are....well, not the cleanest *cue death metal and giants with hearts of gold*. IYKYK. Here, the showers and amenities rival that of Equinox or Lifetime, with day passes available at a very reasonable price.

Many pros train here, and the owner, Chris, regularly works with and owns other gyms where world record holders lift.

Most regular recreational lifters like myself might feel a bit intimidated, but I was treated with nothing but kindness and respect. The environment was so inviting, I would feel comfortable bringing a gym newbie with me.

P.S. Thank you again for creating such a kind place. Even though I don't compete, being able to train at gyms like this lets me be strong enough to take care of disabled family members.

Looking for a gym where you won't get a passive-aggressive email for breathing too heavily during deadlifts? Welcome to Iron House Gym, where the only membership question is "Do you even lift?" and the decibel meter is permanently unplugged.

Unlike those chrome-and-mirrors fitness spas where people take selfies between sets of kale smoothie curls, Iron House is a sanctuary for serious lifters. You can actually use chalk here without triggering a hazmat response team.

The equipment is top-notch, well-maintained, and there's plenty of it. No waiting an hour for a squat rack while someone does curls in it.

There are very few independent gyms anymore other than crossfit boxes. This gym is definitely not convenient for me but the equipment and layout keeps me going at least a few times a month when I need my fix of an athlete first gym. I can carry my gym bag with my supplemental equipment, responsibily use chalk, fit more plates on a bar...and all without getting into with a staff member that would prefer the members don't actually train hard. All the members seem to take ownership as well, by keeping it clean and reracking their weights.

NOTE* if you are someone that gets bothered by folks recording their workouts or social media content THIS IS NOT the gym for you. Regardless of 10 followers or 10k, everyone seems to think they are an "influencer" and you can't look in any direction without seeing a bunch of tripods and people talking to their phones. Everyone pays the same rent to be there so that's their business and I do my own thing.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Where do I begin?! The aesthetic is so well crafted. Little details like accent lighting and unique restroom flooring separate this facility. So much equipment to choose from; powerlifting, bodybuilding, CrossFit, strongman. Doesn’t matter what your discipline is. The staff & culture there are both top tier; very friendly and welcoming vibe. 24/7 access, huge space, the list goes on. Do yourself and favor and RUN, DON’T WALK to this one of a kind gem.

Fitness 1440-Jax is now THE FIT FACTORY. The gym has all the 'old school' iron one could hope for and even some custom made machines you've NEVER seen before! The Factory is open 24/7 according to your membership agreement. You will find the usual cardio equipment but also an assortment of body part specific machines for those hard to build areas. Other gyms are fine for basic fitness needs and often glitzier but this gym is more old school for those who are serious about transforming their bodies.

First impression review. Upon entering the gym, speaking with the young man at the front desk was a pleasure. Got good information on how the gym works and inquired about getting a personal trainer for myself and my husband. Nikki was the trainer that we chose to meet with. Upon interviewing her in our first workout session, she did an amazing job. We felt this would be a good fit so we signed up with a commitment to have Nikki train us. In our full first session with her she kicked my butt. It was amazing and I’m so happy that we chose her to be our personal trainer. Also met the owner of the gym. What a nice guy I feel the prices are good. The gym is nice clean it is under remodel, but that’s understandable. Looking forward to this new relationship between Nikki, Brennan and us. So if you’re looking for a gym with good prices, good equipment and very nice people I suggest you check out fit factory.

Great REAL GYM! People are awesome that work there! I love the personal trainers. Very knowledgeable and get great results. I train with Nikki 3 times a week. Never repetitive and keeps me motivated! Love that they have huge room aside for Zumba. Everyone is focused on building and helpful. Highly recommend! Originally I was only going to do training for 3 months and then go in my own but like my trainer so much I am keeping with her even after 6 months. You have all kinds of people here. Only con that I can think of is the lack of space/activities for the kids room. I understand the hours were severely cut but I think no one uses this because the space is small and there's not a huge variety of things for small humans to play with 🤣.

Unbeatable selection of equipment to include a monolift, comp benches, just about any specialty bar you can think of, and more. It just got real... If you're serious about getting in shape and and being the best version of yourself that you can be, this is the place. There aren't TVs and other stuff to entertain you. It has 4 walls and a lot of iron ready to be pushed.

The gym has a great layout that might seem overwhelming to a beginner but if you have some time in the gym, one walk through and you get it. If you like to squat or deadlift, I can easily say that you have the best chance of finding an open rack here compared to anywhere else I have ever been.

Did I mention free strong man classes... I haven't had the time to get to one, but that should speak for itself.

The only reason it's not a 5 star place is that it's not 24 hours and my job makes it hard to be on a regular schedule like normal people, but rest is very important so I get it.

I love the work ethic in this place. I will say this is not your standard gym, so if you're new it can be intimidating. That being said, everyone seemed nice and friendly. So check it out and you just might find a better version of yourself.

Went for a visit. Best leg day I’ve had in a while. Gyms in the area don’t have these machines. Looks like they’ll be adding more machines also. Pretty cool visit. Lot of space, staff was cool. I’ll be back on leg day again to visit my favorite squat machine.
