What a joyful experience returning to my winter yoga home. The careful build to each pose, under the skilled and watchful eye of Sue, ensures that every bone, muscle and joint is ready to give its best as we work towards the 'final' pose - a new one every week. A special boon for older bodies! Loving it.... Jean

I"ve studied Iyengar yoga for forty years with many wonderful teachers. Susan at Iyengar Yoga Sarasota is my favorite. She is kind, dedicated, astute, and excellent at guiding people along their path at whatever level they are at. She is a next level human being.

Going to the Iyengar Sarasota yoga studio is never been a disappointment. I have always gained more for my practice, knowledge of yoga and my own self understanding of who I am after taking a class with them. If you have never taken a class with an Iyengar instructor/teacher try it at least once and then make your own assessment, it’s worth the treat for the experience. ( I am a Iyengar student/practitioner , so I have a great biases for the style)

I can't speak highly enough for the teachers and the environment at Rosemary Court Yoga. I've really enjoyed practicing here since I relocated to SW Florida.

Iyengar yoga is THE best kind of yoga. It cured me of years of lower back problems. Iyengar teachers are very thoroughly trained to teach this rigorous yet safe approach. I wouldn't do any other kind of yoga and am very glad to have met Sue and Deborah, both terrific teachers. The studio is lovely and complies with all health/safety protocols.

Starting Iyengar Yoga two years ago was a great decision!
Susan is an excellent teacher. She is very knowledgeable and mindful of each student (carefully watching and allowing you to get as far into the pose as you are able to).
I really appreciate Marilyn and Deborah who are great teachers as well.
Practicing Iyengar Yoga at this studio is a special time!

I love Iyengar style yoga, out of all the different styles I find it the most comfortable and flexible for my body's quirky issues with their use of blankets, blocks and straps to arrive the body. I was in Sarasota for a few days and did a drop in class after years of not practicing yoga. It was the perfect class and instructor for getting back into the swing of yoga. The instructor was patient and instructive ensuring all students were getting into the positions correctly to the best of their ability and offering alternatives or assists if their body wasn't able. It was the perfect class to remind me or teach me the correct postures and get my body back into the yoga routine, although I was sore the next day. No pain no gain.

This is an awesome Iyengar yoga studio! All the teachers are well trained, knowledgeable, and pay impeccable attention to your alignment (no matter what level of experience you have). I have been studying for over a year, and my body and mind has changed in so many positive ways. I feel motivated to practice outside of class because I have confidence that I won’t hurt myself. Yes, blanket folding is specific, but its purpose is to help you position your body in the best way for optimal alignment AND to be mindful of the next person who uses them.

I love the intelligence and discipline of iyengar yoga. Asanas are taught in stages with great attention to bodily details and alignment. I really appreciate the teachers’ corrections. In my experience, iyengar teachers are the most proficient yoga teachers around.

Very judgmental and a little neurotic...the blankets must be folded in just the right way with the fringe facing a certain direction. Were not the warmest to newcomers. Nonetheless, the instructor seemed to know what she was doing.

Wonderful studio. Such genuine teachers! I'm so grateful to have found this beautiful place. I've done yoga before, but nothing like this. After each class, I feel as though my body is waking up!
