Played the east course after its “big” renovation. Not much has change. Golf courses that are just adding coquina shell cart paths and waste hazards throughout the course to minimize maintenance should not call it a redo or renovation. The greens are slow. Pace of play is slow. I miss the days where I could get a hot deal on Jacaranda for $30. I know I need to let go of that but those days of Miami/South Florida golf are long gone. Simply put Jacaranda is a serviceable golf course but there are much better options for a more reasonable price.

Where do I start? Jacaranda is truly one of my favorite places. I’m at the range almost every day, and I make it a point to play at least once a month. You simply cannot go wrong here.

From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with a friendly smile and someone ready to take care of your bag. Every time I step into the pro shop, Bryan Sienkiewicz greets me by name, no matter how busy he is, it’s an incredible personal touch that never goes unnoticed.

As you make your way to the starter shack, you’ll find the kindest, most professional starters in the business. They set the tone for an enjoyable round, and honestly, they’re all so good I wouldn’t dare try to single just one out. Please be patient when it’s busy. They anre juggling a lot. All the starters are the best concierge in the business. Even the rangers are friendly and encouraging, managing to keep play moving along without ever losing their welcoming attitude.

Yes, the course is under construction right now, but you can tell the team is doing everything possible to ensure a great experience. The service, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail keep me coming back. Jacaranda is more than just a golf course, it feels like a community.

Don’t forget to tip the bag guys and starter. It’s hot and more stressful thank any of us imagine.

The course was not in the best shape. I know they are working on the east course, but the West course had a lot of weeds and the greens were not pristine. I wish I had known that at the time of booking, because I would’ve gone elsewhere. For the money, there are many other alternatives in South Florida that would have been better. I think this course and their management needs to do a better job of recognizing and accommodating Florida residents. I am disappointed that the management company that owns this facility doesn’t understand that catering to out-of-town guests and Canadian residents during the season is not the best way to run a business. Your local golfers, if provided a reasonable rate and a course that it is in reasonable shape would be willing to pay. I love the staff, but I cannot excuse the fact that you are overcharging for your property. If I owned this facility, I would likely dismiss most of the leadership and have them rethink the way that they are operating their business.

It’s a lovely place, we’ve been here once before, we are out of state. We came on a Monday, not busy, we paid 350ish to play here. Not including food. We only had 3 players and were moving along and any single or double that would come up behind us, we would let play through, no problem…. that being said, some of them were rushing and literally running, like they only had an hour to get 18 in. Sorry, I don’t want to do that. They told us we were going to slow. Sorry, I didn’t pay that to just rush through. I know there are others who hate it.

** Update ** Played the West course because the East course was being renovated. We played it in 3 hours and 29 minutes. Watch out for the first par 5. There is a big body of water that we didn't see from the tee boxes. The service was still great.
Beautiful course! Forward tee boxes were well manicured. Greens were fast. Had a great experience and definitely will return. Played the East course. A few water features, but definitely manageable. The pro shop staff were welcoming and professional.
Played the East course again today. The Starter and the cart attendant were personable and friendly. They have one of their staff members to offer a promotion of hitting the green on a Par 3. You double your $20 investment to $40 if you hit the green. I was able to hit the green and used it in the Pro Shop. I thought this was a good promotion for their golfers. Played this course in 3 1/2 hours. Not sure if this is only for Valentines Day. The course is in wonderful shape, and the carts have GPS.

Wow - what a cool track! While the windy weather did put a damper on our group’s scoring on April 12th, we definitely couldn’t blame the conditions on the West Course because it was in excellent shape. Only suggestion for improvement is to remove the stones from the bunkers - I’m not a maintenance expert but I suspect there is an easy and inexpensive way to remove the numerous stones I experienced in the 3 bunkers I played out of 👍

Both East and West are beautiful courses, I think the East might be a bit more fun but the West has a much cooler movement. Not only is the course a fun challenge but the atmosphere is great, with a grass range, classic starters, and on Sundays, you can smell the bbq and hear the music all the way from the parking lot. There's always a lot of action going on, with 36 holes and a full clubhouse and all, which always adds to the excitement. Although it is a bit far from me, and bit rough around the edges like any great Florida public course, I recommend this slightly-hidden gem to anyone I know.

Possibly the best greens I've ever played on, everything rolled PURE and balls held up well. Played the East Course on 2/26/25 and it was in incredible shape. Was able to play solo and there was barely anyone around. Finished the round under 3 hours. Staff was very nice. The price was legible to how the course played. Highly recommend!

Played Jacaranda East and what an experience. Uk golfers will feel at home with English style grass which was in fantastic condition. The only small hiccup with the course were the surrounds of the greens , which are clearly under repair. However, that didn't cause many problems, however they should really be classed as GUR.
Greens were fast but not lightning like a lot of US courses.
Fantastic experience. Nice people in the pro shop and good bar area. Proper value for money

We chose Jacaranda as the last round of our annual South Florida golf trip . We were expecting a great day . In hindsight it was a big mistake . Greens fees were $235 . The pro shop then added a 3% service charge because I paid with a credit card . I bought 2 sleeves of Taylor Made TP5X as well and paid and additional $40 . 6 balls for $40 ??? We were expecting pristine conditions and oh were we let down . Underwhelming layout coupled with sub par course conditions at best. Every green had a border of patched turf covered in sand . I feel cheated . Never again Jacaranda , never again . There are so many other better options in the area for half the price .

Not worth the price whatsoever. $220 for a 5+ hour round. The group in front of us had a 5 year old with them running all over the place hitting shots around the tee box while other groups were teeing off. Had to change our cart at the turn because it died. No rangers in sight to help move the pace of play. It’s a $90 course that is being way overpriced. Solid bacon egg and cheese from the kitchen though.

Golfed both courses while visiting the Fort Lauderdale area. Both courses were in good shape. The East course has a lot of water, so if you are rusty bring lots of balls with you. Staff were very friendly both on the course and in the pro shop. They have a restaurant but the breakfast we had was pretty mediocre. Very expensive green fees relative to other courses we played while visiting- and while the courses were good, they didn't quite meet the exorbinant prices.

It was such a treat to play this course for the first time in about 8 years. Everyone I came in contact with, from the bag boys(men) to the pro shop to the starter to the bar staff were cheerful and pleasant. The course is in very good condition. The fairways are nice and green and the roughs aren't too deep that you can't find your ball if it rolls out of the fairway. The greens were fast and hard to read, driving up my scores. I hope to play this course again soon.

Pro shop service was really a great hasle when chargeing one set of of rental clubs instead for two players instead of two. Missing range charge.. We needed to go back. Father and I played jacaranda east today, very disappointed in conditions. I’ve maybe played Jacaranda 150-200 times in last 10 years some with and some without him. This picture was on the 18th hole in the fairway. Started noticing a decline in condition over the last 12 months or so and today pushed me to share this review. Every single bunker looked like this and green side was no better. The collars of the green were completely torn out and tee boxes were really something. Fairways were fine but grass in every single bunker?? Not grass shavings from mowers, actual grass growing in the sand in every single bunker. No warning or heads up about conditions of course, but the real disappointment in all this is they are charging $200!!! We have no problem paying green fees and play all around Florida so we are no stranger to a $200 a guy fee but this seems criminal. Heard whispers about a renovation coming next year but was excited to see so many times available today last minute but I guess I now know why. $200 for these conditions won’t bring us back after almost becoming a regular over the last 10 years. Public golf is expensive and I know that but a place you recommend to out of towners and a local staple really needs to take a look at what is going on out there. I’d love a answer from someone how they justify charging $200 a person with conditions like these and I won’t mention constant slow play because most have those problems but jacaranda is sloooww.

The courses are usually in excellent condition, no complaints there. It only falls short of 5 stars because starters are typically way too relaxed with organization with a "go whenever you are ready" attitude, which is fine on an empty afternoon, but a couple of times I was sent to tee ahead of the people that was supposed to he ahead of us, just to clash with other groups there.

the most overrated pair of courses in broward county, the east and west here, for the price, I wouldn't pay more than 45 bucks for either one at any time of year. Them charging over a hundred bucks not even in season, in September is insane, water hazards hardly come into play in either course, tee to green it is very boring except for some good fairway bunkers, the greens are actually very good, well sloped/undulating and fast and very well kept, and some good bunkers guarding the greens. courses worth over a hundred bucks green fee in broward open to public r eagle trace and emerald hills all year, and palm aire cypress and plantation preserve in mid winter. The one outstanding thing here is the course conditions both courses r purely well kept tee to green, it helps they have that easy to maintain grass but on top of that the condition is immaculate, however the courses are majorly overrated and overpriced.

Playing golf at Jacaranda is a pleasure. It’s easy to book a time using the app. Upon arrival one is met by courteous guys at the bag drop, followed by a short walk up to a nicely merchandised Pro Shop! You know you’re ready to go when you’ve met the starter and get a scorecard! Once on the course, it’s immaculate. It doesn’t get any better than that if you like to play golf.

I played The Jac East Sunday past September 8th. First time playing the East course and I was impressed for the most part. I had been in the area for a week or so and saw all the rain. I knew heading out what to expect for the course conditions based on the rain. Saw a few problem areas around the greens but nothing that affected my game. The rest of the course was in good to great shape. I would have given a 4 1/2 if these areas were a little better. I have to say that the staff were great and very friendly and made my experience great.

Wish they were bringing back the JAC card next year but with their upcoming maintenance it makes sense and I feel the course will get even better.

A great experience! I played as a single, and played 18 in just over 2 hours. The course wad in great shape, and I saw the beverage lady 4 times. Best part about my round was the fact that I got paired up with a guy who grew up in the same county as me, Mercer County New Jersey, knew the area of where we both lived and worked and it happens to be that we golfed with each other once before back home and we also knew some mutual friends. Can’t believe our second round together happened to be in Plantation. Awesome day all around.

Sunday (Day1 - East Course) and Monday (Day 2 - West Course). Both courses have their challenges, so be ready.

Excellent service, staff, and course. You wll not met another well organized and run golf course. Very customer service oriented. Everyone staff member I met was very professional and helpful.

Yes, I will be back and would gladly recommend this course to others.

My husband and my 16 y/o son went golfing as we are on vacation, and he recently has taken up the game of golf. They aren't pros, but learning and this was to be my son’s second time ever playing 18 holes. They paid just as much money as everyone else and were harassed by Robert, the course ranger for the lack of speed they had while playing. They let others play through them and weren’t holding up anyone. Robert was rude and unprofessional and stalked them through several holes. I highly suggest a customer service course so you can approach people in an appropriate manner. Definitely won’t be back!

Great Range to warm up before your round. Played both east and west courses; both are outstanding. Fairways are well maintained as are the greens. Definitely challenging courses. Highly recommend.

Great track, course in amazing shape for off season. Staff incredibly friendly from JB at the carts, to Leann and Heidi in the bar, and cart girls do such a superb job being there at the right time. Also, pro shop very friendly and quick with getting me out there in short notice. Starters are essential to this club and they also add a perfect touch. Blown away and I love this course and all it has to offer.
